  1. IMHO:

All you need to know, "The Miami-Dade Police Department said Sunday officers were dispatched".

    Corruption runs rampant there.

If you lived through the last 3 years, you understand these "over officious jerks", as Levy would say.  Especially the ones who work on planes.

    From article:

“Never in my life have I experienced what just happened to me… I’ve seen it all. Never. In. My. Life. I COULD NEVER MAKE THIS UP,” Beckham wrote on Twitter.

Davilier concluded in his statement Sunday that “sleeping on a plane should not be a cause for removal from a flight.”

“If they could wake him up when the flight returned to the gate, then they could have done the same thing to ask him to put on his seatbelt,” Davilier’s message read.

I think this is a massive nothing burger, the airline should apologize.

  2.

    Good morning,

Thought I would share this interesting piece.

On 550 (Howard and Jeremy) 10/18/21 Monday morning.

    Go Bills.

    ----------

Josh Allen, Brian Daboll, and a gameplan 800 days in the making

What the Bills did on Sunday night, what they’ve been doing this season, and why everybody should be terribly, terribly afraid (unless you’re a Bills fan!).

    Oliver Connolly

    Oct 12

Sean McDermott and co. know they’re good. Like, really, really we-should-be-playing-in-February good.

They also knew entering Week Five that to get to February they would (probably) have to go through Kansas City. Playoff seeding, home-field advantage, 2020 revenge, sending a 2021 message, all of that was wrapped up in Sunday night’s game...

  3. I met Gailey at Training Camp this year. One time, after practice he grabbed Trent Edwards by the shoulder pads and tried to speak with him. Trent acted very disinterested, unreceptive to the coach. I told my son that based on Trent's pre-season attitude and lack of motivation, they would get rid of him mid-season.

Gailey is a genuine man, after practice Chan spoke to my 10 year old son for quite some time. I feel like this team will be very competitive, and the system will generate wins and fans will be proud again.

  4. I am about as far as you get from a professional athlete but how was Donte Whitner only squatting 405 for 3 or 4 when graduating from Ohio State and being picked in the top 15 of the NFL Draft?

I went to Webster High School in New York and we had at least 8 or 10 guys doing this in HIGH SCHOOL. Not all of them were lineman either. I was only 205 at the time and was doing 405 for 12. (This isn't about me so don't say I'm a tough guy or anything like that)

My point is, how does an NFL caliber player only squat 405 for 3 or 4? I can't help but question work ethic in that case. Maybe it's just me.

I can verify this, I also played FB for Webster High for 4 years, their lifting program is insane. Guys look like Philistine giants.

  5. This investigative journey started when I was checking which USFL teams Jim played for. I was using WIKI and it said this....

    University of Miami

Kelly wanted to attend Penn State under Joe Paterno, but he was not offered a quarterback scholarship, instead they offered him a scholarship at linebacker. His brother, Pat, already an NFL player, advised Jim to look for a school offering a quarterback scholarship instead. He went to the University of Miami. At Miami he played an important role in helping build the University of Miami into one of the nation's premier collegiate football programs. He finished his career at Miami with 406 completions in 646 attempts for 5,233 yards and 32 TD's. This performance earned Kelly a place in the University of Miami Hall of Fame when he was inducted in 1992.[5]

Then I found this from NFL.COM, the only Pat Kelly listed.

    Pat Kelly

    Height: 6-6 Weight: 252 Deceased

    Born: 10/29/1965 Rochester , NY

    College: Syracuse

    Experience: 4 Seasons

layer Name NFL Experience Years of Service Career Stats Hall of Fame

    Kelly, Pat 4 Years 1988 - 1991 Rec: 4 Yds: 17 Avg: 4.2 TD: 0

Did his brother play in the NFL. Strange that the NFL.COM website would miss his playng data.

    • I graduated from R.L. Thomas HS in Webster NY.
    • We had a remarkable athlete named Pat Kelly who graduated in the late 70's.
    • Pat Kelly then attended SU and then joined Denver Broncos.
    • Does anybody know anymore about the Kelly's story. Like why was Pat in Webster NY and Jim in East Brady PA.
    • I was just thinking how neat it would have been to have Jim in High School with me and my brother.
    • BTW: Pat died from Cancer in his early 30's.

Thanks for any info.... GO BILLS...
