  1. I would love this draft but randle is flying up the boards I think he goes late first early second, also...egnew and Norman are great players but I think they will go in the third, maybe we get one(IMO hopefully Norman) but I don't know, buddy seems to know what he's doing and he has a plan so I'll probably be happy with any draft we put together

  2. ive been wavering for a long time about who the bills should draft come late april. i have seen some mocks with the bills taking Luke Kuechly the LB from Boston College who projects well as and NFL OLB. but if we do not take him then i say by the time the second round rolls around we take Lavonte David the OLB from Nebraska.

At first glance you see a smallish LB at 6'1'' 233 lbs. but hey, london fletcher and ray lewis are undersized, And once you watch his tape you fall in love. the kid plays on instinct and heart. he is constantly flying around the field and making play after play, almost never giving up. he played for Nebraska a team that transitioned from the Big 12 the the Big 10 so hes been around a ton of talent. many of the top talents in this years draft have been chased down and taken down by this man. i think the bills would be stupid to not take this LB if hes sitting there in the second round for us. an all-american who i think has the potential to be a perennial pro-bowler once he reachers his prime. mark my words: LaVonte David is going to be an absolute BEAST in this league for whatever team drafts him

  3. call me crazy but i really like our starting o-line even with Hairston at LT. i just think we need some depth which can be added through the draft.

that being said, with the 10th pick in the 2012 NFL draft i think the buffalo bills should select Quinton Coples the DE from UNC. i know the knock on him is work ethic but the kid is a freak. 6'6'' 285 lbs, seems almost like another Mario Williams. how about that d-line? Williams, Dareus, Williams and Coples. i think playing alongside some savy veterans will be a wakeup call to Coples. all the work ethic questions will be thrown away cause the vets on D will push him for greatness.

then when the second round come around we go OLB. i really like Zach Brown another UNC product but i doubt he will fall that far. so ive looked at Ronnell Lewis from Oklahoma. the kid has a ton of raw talent and moves great from sideline to sideline. he also hits like a bus. seems like the perfect compliment to our font 7.

once the third round comes around i say we go for our #2 WR. ive watched a lot on WR Brian Quick from Appalacian State and i see him as a HUGE sleeper in this draft class. a basketball recruit that went to football standing 6'5'' and running a 4.48 forty. i think he fits Buddy's mold of a reciever whos open even when covered.

    GO BILLS!!!

  4. Trumain Johnson? The 2nd?? Son of a former Bills WR??? I haven't heard of him but if he is Trumain's son then I'm really getting old..

Anyway, welcome to the board Roc!

Nah, kid is a big, tall and athletic conrner.

    hes 6'2'' 204lbs with 33 1/2 inch arms

    his combine results were:

    40-4.61

    19 bench press reps

    35.5 inch vert

he plays physical and id love to see him lining up opposite Aaron Williams

  5. i think LT Jonathan Martin is where we are leaning to sure up our O-line. personally im all for drafting Quinton Coples the DE from UNC and building the best D-line in football which automatically upgrades out backers and secondary making the buffalo bills something of old, a top 5 defense thats scary. but i could see them also taking CB Morris Claiborne out of LSU if he falls to us at ten which isnt as crazy as it sounds.

    Go Bills!!!

  6. Coples is an interesting thought of we sign Mario. I'm not a fan of the kid in the least, but playing next to those 3 guys could be the motivation this kid needs to get it going. I'd assume we'd go LT if we add Williams though, though Claiborne, if he's there, would be my favorite pick by far. He's a superior talent and would be an absolute steal at 10. Adding Mario and Claiborne would really put our defense on the map as a unit to be scared of.

from everything ive seen and read Dontari Poe the DT from Memphis is flying up boards, if Morris Claiborne drops past Tampa Bay there are bigger needs on the teams before us than CB so we may luck out and find Morris sitting in our laps at #10

  7. this is my first post just concerning the state of the bills. as a bills fan for my whole life i havent had much to cheer for. born after kelly was done the highlight of my bills was the bills blowing out the pats at the raplh back on '03.

this year i have alotta reason to be happy. lets take a look at our possible team. if we do sign mario williams our D-line will have three BEASTS in Marcell, Kyle and Mario. the other end can be addressed in the draft.

for the draft i see acouple of options:

with the 10th pick i think well pick either LT Jonathan Martin or CB Morris Claiborne. in a wild pick i would love to see the bills pick up DE Quinton Coples to complete our D-line, i know he has issues but the vets will demand greatness from him.

in the second round, while i love WR Brian Quick out of Appalacian State, a 6'4'' 220lb basketball player turned WR who can run a 4.48 forty. i think thats when we take our DE. i see us taking either Chandler Jones from Syracuse or Vinny Curry from Marshall.

in the third i can see the bills going for either OLB Lavonte David from Nebraska or CB Trumaine Johnson out of montana.

then, finally with our two forth rounds picks i see us possibly taking a developmental QB and a WR or TE. i like BJ Colman from Chat, a smaller school but a skill set that projects well to the pros. sitting behind Fitzy could really develope him well. then at WR or TE i could see a guy like Ladarius Green from LA-Lafayette or Jeff Fuller the tall wideout from Texas A&M.

if things end up going right for the bills and we arent snubbed like the past years by signing Mario and Robert Meachem i think the bills instantly become legitament contenders. a good front 7 will allow for better secondary play and more weapons for Fitz just means more points and wins for the bills.
