He’s definitely the first since Polian to not slap bandaids on the team, instead opted for a true rebuild. With that, He did an outstanding job cleaning the cap, now we will see how good he can build a team from scratch. If he does that half as good as he did managing the salary cap, then we have some great seasons coming in the near future.

I want guys with great 3 cone/shuttle times. Guys like Edelman who can get immediate separation on the route tree. I can live with 4.5 if they run great routes and have good hands. I would lean away from DK @ 9.
Andy Isabella is your guy. Would have to grab him in round 2, he won’t be there in round 3.

IIRC Beckham and Landry have been friends since childhood. I could see Beckham approving of a trade to Cleveland.
That’s correct. People on Twitter who don’t know this are laughing at the thought of both OBJ and Landry trying to share a locker room, but reality is they have been doing it their whole lives. At LSU they played together and both went over 1000 yards. Landry is no doubt this biggest advocate in getting his best friend to Cleveland with him.

Now that the smoke has settled, I’m not sold on Metcalf being what we need to make our offense go.
I still feel like Jonah Williams/Jawaan Taylor at 9, or a slight trade down and grab Dillard or Risner is the way to go.
Then in round 2 grab their favorite WR that’s still on the board.

This draft is so deep at WR. Bills better not screw this up!
That’s why I believe it’s the best move to go Oline or Hockenson in the first, then go WR in round 2. Still will be plenty of talent there in round 2.
N’Keal Harry definitely sticks out in this first group of receivers.

Anyone know what time tomorrow the receivers will start running their 40 times?

Sky is blue, forward pass, etc.

1:55pm, the Steelers agree to terms on a trade with the Bills for Antonio Brown.

Those who think the Bills can trade down and get him are still reading old news. He won’t last past 15 at the latest, and there’s a chance he won’t even make it to 9.
bottom line if he’s your target, you have to take him at 9 if he’s there.

Ouch. Nice catch!
I actually prefer Mitch to Paradis because of his physicality. Just scrolled right on past his name I suppose.
A lot of Chiefs fans are saying Morse is one concussion away from retirement and they doubt he will ever play a full season again.

Just give me a big fat offensive linemen in the first in a trade down....then take either AJ Brown or Deebo in the 2nd....followed by a TE
That’s what I’m leaning, depends on free agency, but I’d be thrilled if the Bills came away with this in the first three rounds....
1) Jonah Williams
2) AJ Brown
3) Isaac Nauta

I’m not ready to buy the hype for Metcalf yet. I actually like his teammate AJ Brown more right now. Brown to me is the best possession receiver in the draft IMO and I’m not sure why he’s not getting more love than he is from people.

Is it ok if we say that we love you guys. I have to say the Bills are one of the classiest football teams in the league. It's hard to find a bad Bills fan. Anyways I hope you guys get back on top again next year.
Well there’s Bills fans and then the bad ones I like to call the LOLBILLS fans. Those are the doomers and gloomers, the ones who spins every positive into a negative. They don’t ever see the Bills escaping their doom they have faced the last 20 years, and when something good happens that moves the Bills in the right direction, they post LOL or post the laughing emoji.

Anything can happen, and it’s going to mostly come down to how big of a step Josh Allen makes from year one to year two. The biggest key to this offseason is getting as much help as possible for Josh Allen to make that step.

He will go top 15. All those “trade down and get him” folks are playing with fire if he truly is the target. If you want him you have to take him at 9 because the 12-20 range becomes a crapshoot.

This draft will be fun to watch because we have no idea where the Bills will go.
Last year from the time Beane said you need a franchise QB, to the trading of Glenn and Tyrod to pick up extra picks, everyone knew the Bills were going after a QB.

Metcalf is on the far left. He’s standing next to AJ Brown.
AJ Brown is not immediately next to DK, but he’s the one with the gold chain.
I don’t know how people are sleeping on AJ Brown. He was way more productive than Metcalf in college. He reminds me of Jarvis Landry.

DK Metcalf Update....
-
Well, that was quick.

His name itself will sell tickets to whoever drafts him, so someone will take him earlier than he should. The Jaguars and their empty stadium desperately needs a namesake like him.

QB: None, but if we had to pick one late or as an UDFA, Eric Dungey. I think he can be like a Taysom Hill type player.
RB: Josh Jacobs and Trayveon Williams stick out to me the most.
WR: So many, hope we get at least two of these. Metcalf, Hollywood Brown, AJ Brown, Hakeem Butler, Nkeal Harry, Deebo, Andy Isabella, and more. There’s no Julio Jones in this class, but WR seems stacked this year for rounds 2-4.
TE: Hock, Fant, or late round/UDFA Foster Moreau or Isaac Nauta.
OL: hopefully we can address the line in free agency, but if not, Jonah Williams is at the top of my list. Also like Dalton Risner.
Defense I don’t really care as I feel we will still have a top defense regardless. Just need to fill a couple holes in depth. Hopefully a free agency move.

I want Hockenson. Where does he ultimately go? Seen mostly late-1st to mid-2nd.
If we address the offensive line in free agency, I’d be perfectly content with taking Hockenson at 9 to be honest. Will be considered a reach, but there’s almost zero chance he will be there with our second pick.
I think Josh Allen would benefit more with a TE like Hock than a WR in round one. Plus I believe there’s very good value at the WR position in rounds 2-4.

Like the last 3-4 plays in that video is what I want to see a lot more of next year. One play he torpedos through the hole to stop the RB. Another play he comes off the edge and destroys the RB to get to the QB.
-
If he can fill that big red zone target role that would be big. One that uses his hands well and can win contested battles. Everything I’ve seen of him so far gives me hope.
In the draft we need to get a couple of these position receivers and TE’s. I’m looking at Marquise Brown, AJ Brown, and Andy Isabella closely.

C Matt Paradis - to Carolina - less than Morse (3yrs at $27)

My guess is that Matt Paradis went into today with all intention to sign with the Jets, but wasn’t 100% satisfied with their offer, so he’s going to consider others more than he intended to. Just a complete guess from the report that he’s waiting on last minute offers to possibly come in.
Still would be a true underdog story for anyone to sign him over the Jets though.
