  1. I'm a season ticket holder, but have no association with WNY. My first game watching was XXV when I was 8 and I've been a big fan since. Regardless, being from WNY or not, I respect the city of Buffalo and would never wish the team leave as it just won't be the same. Although I'm not from Buffalo, From my love of the Bills I feel like I must've been a local in a past life.

  2. I dont understand how people "do other things" on sunday and record the game...how do you consider yourselves "fans" if you dont even watch the games live?

Kids? who cares, say "sorry Johnny, find a ride to your baseball tournament, daddy has to root for the Bills" (this shouldnt be an issue because real fans kids would also be diehards and wouldnt participate in something on a sunday anyway)

Family functions? "sorry family, why the hell would you schedule a function on a game day?

Errands? your a P*ssy, unnaceptable, ever

unless of course your one of those who say, "its just a game, im not going to let it dictate my life", in which case, my response is "then your not a real fan, your a causal fan" (which is fine I guess, as long as you realize your just a casual fan and cant celebrate when we finally win the big one)

    end rant

I agree with this post. End of story

This is the first game I watched from my living room (attended the home opener and browns game and saw the jets massacre at the local backers bar).

As soon as we went up 21-7, I pulled down my season ticket games on stubhib for jax and st louis as (1) I thought they would go up in value after we rip NE or (2) I'd try to make it up for te games (6 hr drive from Columbus)

An hour later I was passed out drunk on my couch in the middle of the 4pm games after the roller coaster of emotions, wishing I ha just left the tix for sale.

  3. I follow WV closely as I am from there. I will withhold until he plays an actual defense who can pressure him. So far, he has had all day to throw the ball. I'd like to see how he does under pressure. However, arm strength, mobility, etc. is all there, he could be real good.

  4. You will want to get down there early. There's not a whole lot of parking for a 72,000 seat stadium and the lots fill up quick. The parking here in Cleveland is nothing like the Ralph, where you have a series of lots and lawns. Of course, you guys are 15 miles outside your downtown area.

The two for Bills fans to avoid are probably the Muni Lot (southeast of the stadium and across East 9th Street) and what we call "the Pit" which is close to the stadium, down the hill from West 3rd. The Pit is usually not a good visitors lot. I mention the Muni Lot because the cops have really been cracking down on the drinking (so they say).

Thanks for the info. I'm driving up from Columbus so I might Lear an hour earlier than expected now as we want to fin a nicespot.

I will be in lot 20 and have my bills flags flying high by a red chevy blazer. If anyone wants to stop by, feel free!

  5. try parking in the yellow lot on the map (my links arent working) from cleveland browns website, its in northwest corner of map...I know thats where we will probably try and be...

as far as saturday night we will be dining and boozing at City Tap right by progressive field, as our friend Jon Jones fights in a UFC fight that night and this bar shows the fights

You buddies with Johnny Bones Jones? Dude is an animal. Cant see anyone beating him anytime soon, but if Vitor connects once we'll see what his chin is like..

  6. Definitely stay in Amherst ....I live in Amherst .....prior to next game message me and I will give you a great list of places to go.....and maybe we can meet up for a cold one!!!

Nice man - I will definitely do that. Good looking out, i will check out Amherst next time I come up

Glad you get it BF34. Ive got no problems with downtown myself but I'm more of a suburbian kind of guy. Sure you don't walk to many places but the traffic ain't bad anyway. It's just a different kind of lifestyle. Personally I like it more and personally I feel that's why I think Buffalo and the sorrounding areas great. Just thought he'd like to try something else. I grew up in Amherst and live on the Cheektowaga and Snyder border now. Can't say I'll live here forever but I wouldn't mind it if I did.

Add me to the "go grab a cold one" group. I'm open for adding more fans to my weekly tailgate as well. Give me a ring.

Awesome - If i can get up to a game before the Thursday nighter, I will holler at you guys. Otherwise it will be November 15. Already sold my Pats and Titans tickets, would love to have been able to come up. Wife is only willing to making the 6.5 hr drive a few times a year though (as the weekend is pretty much driving, college football, beer, tailgating, nfl football, beer, drive home!)

  7. Next time you should try some of the hotels in the Amherst area. The Marriott will be sure to not have any broken windows and break Ins as it's properly secured by both Amherst PD and UB campus security on a regular basis. There's always a few other hotels around the area too. Sorry you felt unsafe where you were but got the most part you shouldn't be bad anywhere around. Just don't drive down any streets that are named after fruits think that if a street is named Goodyear that they must be happy all the time. It's not the case. And some streets named after States have some bad spots too. Hope you enjoy in the future.

Thanks - I was up about every 2 hours paranoid someone was getting into my car haha. I'll be sure to check out the Amherst area next time I am in town. Can't wait to make it back. Next game I should be at is the Thursday nighter. Wish I could come for more but that 6.5 hr drive can be long and get expensive

  8. First time season ticket holder from Columbus Ohio. Stayed at the Adams Mark downtown, noticed ALOT of car windows smashed. Is there a history of car break ins down in that area? I was a bit concerned as I drive a jeep wrangler (which did survive without incident). Anyways, spent the evenin at the hotel bar and watched college football, then grabbed a few cold ones at Pearl St brewery (cool place)

Sunday couldn't have been better (without the traffic going to the stadium). Tailgated right off of southwestern and Abbot (wish I knew a few more people as it was just me and the wife) in a nice lot. I'm not from the area, but I really am a big fan of not only the Bills, but I really just like the city and surrounding area (must've live there in a past life or something)

Anyways, ill be in Cleveland this Sunday. For this coming, if you see a big flagpole with 2 Bills flags by a Chevy blazer, stop by. Free beer and food for any fellow Bills fans!!!

  9. Awesome, my first time in buffalo I stayed in orchard park an spent a lot of time looking for downtown. This time I wanted to stay right downtown in the heart of buffalo, get the full experience! I'm 30 and love to drink beer with friends

Appreciate the suggestions, finding a good place to eat is definitely on my list
