  1. I feel just like you KOKBILLS, it has been a travesty that it took so long, and love the stats on Irvin, there is no way he should have gotten in before Reed, but the process seems to take into account, the guys who have a platform like NFL network. Not to mention a love for the loud and obnoxious player..i.e: Irvin, Sapp, Sanders, while the class acts like Bettis, Andre, and Art Monk have to wait. The next guy who is going to walk in will be Rodney Harrison, who was a solid player but not a HOF'er, but give a platform and introduce him every Sunday as a future HOF'er and the voters will agree.
  2. Why would Marrone announce this on Wednesday, would Belicheat do that? So frustrating, just keep them guessing at least
  3. I agree Doc, the Bills got there wins early in the year when they were healthy, and some of the other teams were still finding themselves; Miami has done the opposite, they were healthy well into the year and happen to play teams that were becoming decimated with injuries (Bills/Skins/Raiders) and they dominated those teams, they had a few injuries last week and got beat badly. Bottom line them and the Dolphins are 5/6/7 win teams. With more depth and less injuries they will be a 7/8/9 win team
  4. If you were told on opening day that the Bills would have 5 wins with 3 games to play how many of you would have been ok with that? I realize this franchise is disfunctional, and that Mr. Wilson has a lot to do with this over the years. I keep hearing all this talk about how could the team start out so well and fall apart within a few weeks? In my opinion you can not disregard how devasting the injuries have been this year, yes every team has them and SOME can overcome them, but if you take Mike Wallace, Mike Pouncey, Aarron Smith put them all on IR, and have Troy miss 3 games with injuries, do you seriously think that the Steelers would be 10-3, granted the drop off would not cripple that team as it has the Bills, but they would be on the fringe of getting a wild card. Look at the Dolphins this past week, they lose there backup QB and Jake Long, and they could not function! The Dolphins had been one of the healthiest teams this year and they had been beating down teams (Bills, Raiders Skins) who have been decimated with injuries, they play a team getting healthier and get a beat down. The Bills early season play was not a fluke, first of all all of their starter were available and they hit the ground running, once the injuries started they did not have enough talent to step up. The difference between playoff good and mediocrity in the NFL is very small. Coincidentally Fitz's drop off began right around the time Fred Jackson's injury happened; we all know Fitz is not a Ben or Brady who makes others better, but if you put talent around him he can get the job done..look what he did with free agents and late round picks. Now to get to NE,GB,NO,Pitt level that is another story, but to be a playoff team and in the mix with the 9, 10 win teams they just need depth. Maybe I am just too optimistic but I would have taken the 5 win scenario at the beginning of the year.
