  1.

After listening to the pre draft luncheon, I came away just like the rest of you here on the message board. It is down to 2 guys in the first round (Nassib and Barkley). I really don't know which one will be the guy. I told you all before I know EJ is in their top three, and I don't believe Geno is the guy either. I am sure that our head coach has seen enough of Geno that makes him turn cheek on Geno. Here is my second Mock Draft Buffalo Bills style, what do you guys think? Please let me know

8th Pick - Buffalo will try to trade out but if they can't they don't pass on Matt Barkley.

I believe that Barkley is the pick. Buddy is pretty straight forward, he doesn't lie too much. He has said since Chan was here that he wanted a franchise quarterback. He even said before the season ended that this is the year you trade up to get your guy if you need too. With that being said I think they had their minds on one guy from the get go. That is Matt Barkley.

Doug Marrone said last year after their game with USC that he wishes Matt Barkley had went pro, and then went on to say that Barkley was the top QB along with Luck. This came from his own mouth, after Barkley lit them up for 378 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Not only that, Stevie was at the Hockey game with Barkley in Cali. They are already getting a bond with one another, because that is the future Kelly to Reed.

Both Buddy and Whaley defended the heck out of taking a QB at 8. They said they feel that there were a couple franchise guys in this draft that can get the job done. Barkley is one of those guys. They gushed about him, they defended him, they compared him to Joe Montana, and finished up their speech about him saying last year he was their number one guy. Why would that change? It doesn't, if you like what you seen a year ago that doesn't change. He would be a huge asset in the West Coast system, and it is obvious we are going to that system.

With the second round pick Buffalo takes Robert Woods, Barkley's favorite target at USC. He is by far the best wide out in this draft, and has more upside that Patterson, Hopkins and others. Woods is a guy that you can insert in the system right now and he will pick it up. The kid is smart, he scored a 23 on his wonderlic and has looked very good. He is a good kid and is a perfect fit for the Bills system.

With the third Round pick Buffalo selects Shamarko Thomas Safety from Syracuse. He is a Marrone guy and will fit the Pettine system well, he reminds me a lot of Laron Landry who is not afraid to lay the wood. Pettine always has good safeties, and this is a good back up plan in case Byrd is a long term hold out. I was going to give the Bills Pugh here but he was taken right before they picked.

In the fourth round Buffalo selects Ja'Gared Davis OLB, SMU. He is a good player who has a similar skill set to Nigel Bradham. He is a very solid player. I love his motor. Bills are moving Arthur Moats to inside again from what I am hearing, and if that is the case they need another outside guy. I see Davis coming in and lighting up the preseason to move up the depth charts.

In the fifth round Buffalo selects TE Ryan Griffin of UConn, the good pass catching tight end will come in and help Barkley and company move the chains. Griffin is a sound tight end, and could be a huge steal in this years draft.

In the sixth round Buffalo selects Zach Rogers WR from Tennessee, this kid will be the steal of the draft. Rogers is a solid player who if can stay healthy will be a huge asset to the Bills organization. He will come in and take over the role like David Nelson. He has similar styles but will need to stay healthy first.

  2. I know Marcus personally, he was pumped to join Buffalo. He has several friends on the team. He will be a good fit, Pettine likes his aggressiveness. Dowtin played at Georgia. He was kicked out the program for a Bar Fight. He knocked a guy out unconscious in a bar fight and was arrested. Dowtin is not a bad kid, but got a crappy deal. Dowtin transerred to North Alabama were he was their standout linebacker playing MIKE. He and Janoris Jenkins led the North Alabama team to a good record. Dowtin is extremely happy to be here in Buffalo and can't wait to turn it up. He shined at the Battle of Florida last year. They allowed him to participate even though he was Maryland. Had a solid game and landed first on the Jets team. Then Eagles and they cut him. Good to see him back with Pettine, Pettine likes him because of his speed and versatility. He can play all linebacker position and understands special teams.

  3. With draft season upon us, Queen City Sports is doing all it can to keep you informed. We’re unrolling prospect reports all the way up to April 25th, providing Bills mock drafts and updating our first round mock.

In addition to this, Queen City Sports will be providing its first ever Buffalo Bills All-Time Draft.

How does the draft work? It’s simple:

You can draft any player that has ever donned a Bills jersey in the team’s history.

There will be eight owners selecting teams.

The draft will be 22 rounds.

Teams can run a 4-3 or 3-4 defense.

    Team owners will draft the following: 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 OT, 2 OG, 1 C, 3-4 DL, 3-4 LB, 2, CB, 2 S.

The draft order will be selected at random and will be in snake order (if you get pick eight in Round 1, you get pick one in Round 2).

Team owners will get 24 hours to make their pick.

The picks will be made exclusively on Twitter using the hashtag #QCSBillsDraft .

The draft will begin Saturday, April 6th at 1 PM EST.

Now, onto the owners. We have eight excellent and qualified Bills drafters. In alphabetical order:

  4. I appreciate your insight. I really feel that Barkley has exactly what you need in Buffalo. He is a great decision maker. I love his skills, and believe he will be fine in Buffalo. People put too much stock on weather in Buffalo. Jim Kelly is from Pennsylvania but played his college ball in Miami. He was our best QB ever. Barkley is polished, if we can protect him the way we protected Fitz last season, We will win.

As far as linebacker and DE, I know we want a linebacker, but I think Buffalo will address them in Free Agency. I think Phillip Wheeler is an option if he is not resigned by Oakland. As far as DE, Buffalo has over 125 million invested in Defensive Ends. They also have Alex Carrington who was a 3rd rounder. Buffalo is not hurting at the position. Chris Kelsay only played in 5 games last season because of an injury to Anderson.

At Outisde backer, they love Nigel Bradham. I work with Nigel's father who I worked with. He actually retired today to be honest. He is moving to Buffalo this weekend. Great person, who was blessed to have raised a son that made it.

Buffalo is set on OL and DL, I know they need linebackers, but we will be running a 4-3/3-4. Kelvin Shepherd is good and will be here. We need a Mike and a cover ILB. We can get one of them in Free Agency or in the draft.

I will tell you about this kid, make sure you check him out, he is an interesting prospect.

JORDAN CAMPBELL, he played at New Mexico Highlands but was a USC Trojan transfer.

This kid will make you fall in love with him, he is an animal. Try to tell me you wouldn't want him in Buffalo.

Make sure you check him out on Youtube.

By the way, Geno was gone in my mock draft, so that left Barkley still on the list. I had Cardinals drafting an OT Eric Fisher, and signing Matt Cassell

Buffalo Bills assistant GM Doug Whaley listed RB, WR, S and DL as the deepest positions in this year's class.

"We're going to get a good football player," Whaley said. "There's going to be players that ascend to very good football players, and I think the depth in this draft is the one thing that's most intriguing." Whaley made the comment after discussing quarterbacks, which he said there's no "total package" at the position. It's hard to argue with any of the comments made here.

Draft analyst Russ Lande was told Notre Dame ILB Manti Te'o "stood out" in team interviews.

Lande writes that Te'o "displayed leadership and football intelligence" in interviews. He also notes that teams are confident in the linebacker's abilities. " Everyone we spoke to told us that they are confident after this week that he can be a solid starting linebacker in the NFL as either an MLB in a 43 defense or an ILB in a 34 scheme."

  5. Cordell Roberson is a small school wide receiver from Stephen F. Austin. Has big play ability, goes across the middle, has very strong hands. He is a very tough kid, he should have been at a better program. Roberson to me is a Undrafted Free Agent because of the wide receiver depth. He is a stand out and will have several teams calling for his services. I am sure he broke a 1000 yards this year, because Stephen F. loves to chuck the ball. They have a defensive end from Stephen F. Austin as well who was a Baylor transfer named Willie Jefferson. He is a big kid, 6'5 and they say he can play both DE and TE. Pretty freak athlete there. Hope that answer was good enough for you. God Bless

I will be here for a while, I just wanted to post my mock since I am a die hard Bills fan. Go Bills

  6. 1st Round - Matt Barkley - USC Trojans - QB - I know some people won't like this pick but he is by far the most polished quarterback in this year's draft. We would have been pumped to get him last year because of his season. Nothing has changed besides his injury, but he is still the best QB in this draft.

2nd Round - Justin Hunter - Tennessee - WR - Hunter is a first round talent but, I believe Bills will go WR here, if Hunter is gone, look for the Bills to get Robert Woods, who I know they have sat down with numerous times. Hunter is a better playmaker but unfortunately his team mate is taking away from his amazing season.

3rd Round - Travis Kelce - Cincinnatti - TE - Doug Marrone is a former O-Lineman and loves his tight ends. Kelce has the talents of a Rob Gronkowski and Bills will need as many targets they can get on the field. Kelce will stretch the field and does a great job at blocking.

4th Round - Kiko Alonso - Oregon - ILB - This kid is a machine. He is 6'4 and one of my favorites in the draft. He has had a recent arrest that will make his stock drop a little but this kid should be a second rounder. He can cover and hits like a truck.

5th Round - Mark Harrison - Rutgers - WR - Let's face it Buffalo needs some targets, and this kid is the next Terrell Owens/Eric Moulds. Harrison's build is amazing and both Marrone and Pettine know a thing or two about Harrison. Harrison is a steal here. Big strong kid, who can block down field.

6th Round - Daxton Swanson - Sam Houston State - CB - This kid is one of the most under rated corners in the draft. He help lead the SHSU team to the Championship. Swanson is a stud corner and can play both inside and outside. He pulled his hammy halfway through the forty and still ran a 4.5, his coaches say he will run a 4.3 if healthy for his pro day. Kid is a beast.

7th Round - Tavaris Jackson Trade.
