  1. I never had a favorite song until this past February 5th, when I wrote this song for my wife who had passed away the day before. It was supposed to be a sad country song (at least that's how it sounded in my head). Now full disclosure, I am not any kind of musician or singer, so I had to use an AI program to provide the musical talent. So anyway, this is how it turned out

  2. It's amazing how many different flavors there are now. When I was a kid the only ones available were the ones that "melted in your mouth, and not in your hands"

I understand they even have a version for people with fetishes, they're calling them

    S & M's🤔

  3. I'm home grown, growin' my own and I need ya
Need ya to beg my pardon, to tend my garden
    Flowers, she's sittin' for poses
She wants me to sing my song
Hours, she's like a stoned Moses
    Guess I'll sing along

The wildwood flower grew out on the farm
And we never knowed what it was called
Some said it was a flower and some said it was a weed
I didn't give it much thought
One day I was out there talkin' to my brother
And I reached down for a weed to chew on
Things got fuzzy and things got blurry
    And then everything was gone
    Didn't know what happened
But I knew it beat the hell out of sniffing burlap

I come to, and my brother was there and he said,
    "What's wrong with your eyes?"
    I said "I don't know, I was chewin' on a weed"
He said, "Let me give it a try"
We spent the rest of that day and most of that night
Tryin' to find my brother Bill
Caught up with him about six o'clock the next mornin'
    Naked, singing on the windmill
He said he flew up there
I had to fly up and get him down

  5. In spite of ourselves
    We'll end up a'sittin' on a rainbow
    Against all odds
Honey, we're the big door prize
    We're gonna spite our noses
    Right off of our faces
There won't be nothin' but big old hearts
    Dancin' in our eyes

  6. Shining star come into view
Shine its watchful light on you, yeah
Gives you strength to carry on
Make your body big and strong
Born a man child of the sun
Saw my work had just begun
Yeah, found I had to stand alone
Bless it now I've got my own oh yeah

  7. I see your face when I close my eyes
I see a glimpse of my own paradise
    you came from heaven above
    I'm lost in your love
    Free as the wind
you give me wings to fly

    [Chorus:]
With you I feel that I could stay
in love forever and a day

  8. The Red Headed Stranger I'm not
But buddy, let me tell you what
    If ysk ol' Will
He'll tell ya here's the deal
Friends, it's all goin' to pot

Well, it’s all going to pot
Whether we like it or not
    Best I can tell
    The world’s gone to hell
And we’re all gonna miss it a lot

  9. (got good and drunk the night before, so I looked and felt my best when I went in that morning, 'cause I wanted to look like the All-American Kid From New York City. I wanted to feel like I wanted to be the All-american Kid from New York), and I walked in, sat down, I was hung down, Brung down, hung up and all kinds of mean, nasty, ugly things

  10. Close up the bar
You know the gates of the brewery
    She's out there every night
And she sure ain't drinkin' tea
    I love that woman
She's the best one that I had
But she's got this habit now
And it sure is gettin' bad.

    That whiskey drinkin' woman
Is makin' a poor man out of me.

  11. As a crowd gathers 'round an angry young man
Face down on the street with a gun in his hand
    In the ghetto

And as her young man dies,
On a cold and gray Chicago mornin',
Another little baby child is born
    In the ghetto

  12. Baby, I'm amazed at the way you love me all the time
And maybe I'm afraid of the way I love you
Maybe I'm amazed at the way you pulled me out of time
You hung me on a line
Maybe I'm amazed at the way I really need you

  13. There's a red house over yonder
    That's where my baby stays
Lord, there's a red house over yonder
Lord, that's where my baby stays

I ain't been home to see my baby
In ninety-nine and one half days
Wait a minute something's wrong here
The key won't unlock this door
