  1. Wait for the all 22 however, in this offence you need to throw them open read, anticipate and let it go. This is the worst offence for TT, round peg square hole. TT is to blame but since they (the coaches) decided to keep him they should have had an offence in place for him. Deep drops allowing him to see over the line, temping the rush to lose contain and allowing him to take off and use his legs.

  2. I still think it would be nice to see Peterman, we know TT is not the long term answer. However, is it worth allowing a second year Peterman take the rains next year and the next year QB we draft sit for a year. I still think a year on the bench is good for a rookie QB

Exactly, no one will ever agree with everything. I certainly enjoy reading peoples thoughts out opinions on things like this, so big kudos to the time it takes to do it all. And like I said, I rather enjoyed the write up, bang up job bud. The one thing I am just adamant about is Clay not getting this excuse that it was a bad pass because he has continually come up short in his time in Buffalo.

He is very talented and athletic, but his mental focus and lapses just frustrate me and at some point he needs to be held accountable. Too many times on key plays he runs a sloppy route, seems to dog it, drop a pass, or not even look for the ball despite running a passing route.

The last 2 years, there have been times where Clay was open and TT just didn't see him, and TT stated he's aware of that and talked to Clay about it. So I am hoping that some of those mental lapses came out of frustration by Clay and that an offense where TT looks for him more and the OC calls his number more will keep Clay more mentally engaged from play to play. Not that frustration is an acceptable excuse, because you need to give 100% all the time, but at least if that was a factor its possible to reduce it with a higher usage rate.

Agree can we get out of his contract next year?

  4. I live in LA from Buffalo, I follow both teams. I said in an earlier post Truman Johnson is a shut down CB that is a great tackler as well. Gilmore is neither glad he went to the Pats, lets hope age catches Brady this year and the tide begins to change.

  5. Just spoke in person with a former Bill from our glory days (not giving his name-sorry). He felt our coach and GM are handling this all wrong. He felt the message the coach and GM are sending to current players is that this year is a wash. He said that is a poor way to build a team (he also said that they are turning loyal fans away). He went into detail about how they should have called in each player for an interview about where they were going to get a feel if they were a fit or not. He is not sure our current regime has done this. I take his opinion seriously because he used to play.

Stop making up stories you are still living in moms basement

I think it's easy as fans to want to fast track the change to Peterman. But I feel that both HC and GM want to (and need to) be respectful to the QBs and the team. Taylor deserves so start the season because he's been one of the team leaders for two years now. He deserves the chance to succeed or fail in real games, with all of the starting offense present, and just let the natural course of things happen. Pulling Taylor now would create an atmosphere of discontent that a team in such a major transition does not need. Chances are looking pretty good that Peterman will start much sooner than expected. Fans just need to wait till it happens when it's supposed to happen. After real games have been played and it's not working with Taylor.

Just use the concussion protocol as an excuse to keep him out the first two weeks. Then see what happens. We are obviously rebuilding what is the reason to start TT and then what is the reason to start Nate? End of story.
