    I cannot wrap my head around the fact that so many folks around here support these moves. I just don't understand it. I wonder if Buffalo sports fans and residents are so beaten down that they just assume that good players don't want to be in Buffalo, so it's just a matter of time before the good ones leave and "don't let the door hit you on the way out" if you even hint at being unhappy.

     

    Or maybe Bills fans have simply forgotten what it's like to be competitive on Sundays and have focused all of their energies and fantasies on the offseason and NFL Draft, so that they'd rather gear up for a super exciting draft weekend than have to watch their team fall short year after year during the actual season.

     

    Mark my words: the Bills are going to spend years - YEARS - trying to acquire another talent the likes of Sammy. To trade away an explosive, game-altering, defense-intimidating player in the prime of his career, after all that has been invested in marketing him and healing him and integrating him - it's just lunacy to me.

     

    And wait until you see all of the 4-yard rollout passes to fullbacks and plodding lead-handed receivers this season - folks are gonna start to turn on this trade, I firmly believe. This is going to be a boring, slow, easily-defended offense designed to limit mistakes.

     

    This is Jauron Ball 2.0. They're building a roster full of saints and soldiers, that's great, but where is the TALENT?

    Cool story thats not what we were talking about. We were talking about a whiner in an interview stating he wants the ball everytime regardless of another player being open. Thats not 9-12 times a game thats every pass.

    Im not revising any history. I didnt say he didnt put up numbers quite the contrary. Yet even putting up great numbers for the last 9 games of the year didnt cause the Bills as a team to perform even marfinally better with regard to the w/l column.

    Lol. Don't throw the guy the ball whose always open.

    It's really absurd. And I have never seen anyone say that McCoy isn't an elite talent.

    This is a three win team if Peterman starts. If McCoy is gone too, maybe a two win team on line with the Jets. Opinions turn into nonsense when you think a fifth round rookie will do better with a weaker roster than an NFL vet QB that is not terrible. I know in your mind you think TT is terrible, but the numbers do not support you. neither does the W-L numbers.

    It isn't about Sammy wanting the ball, it's how he went about it. He went rogue to local media and bitched about his targets. I don't care who you are, it's immature. The getting in arguments on Instagram thing was immature too. Couple all of this with nagging injuries and an offense/team that he doesn't fit into. He wasn't coming back. We're better off getting something for him now. Elite receivers with top salaries don't win Super Bowls. Just looking at Super Bowl winners from the past decade it makes no sense to give Sammy a big contract.

    I think this trade was awful for the Rams the more I think about it. Doesn't make any sense for them.

    He had to with Tyrod failing so hard. When he demanded the ball in 2015, Taylor actually listened and Watkins lit it up.

    Way to convince yourself. With an investment in a young QB in Goff, acquiring a #1 WR like Sammy makes perfect sense and Sean McVay will know exactly how to get the most out of him.

    He should just wrap it up with one of those Matthews is better drops that are going around

    Im not the one that stated i didnt care if another player on my team was open when im not and i want the ball. Sammy was the one that stated that. We arent talking about favorable matchups. Because he wouldnt have stated he wanted the ball regardless of the whether or not another player was open. To insinuate or determine his motive in any other fashion than the words the player stayed would make you a mind reader.

    Maybe if you were a mega talent like Sammy you would able to say such things and people would care.
