  1. I highly recommend giving ESPN Soutwest Florida a try. The app is easy to navigate and there is a good deal of written content as well. 2-6 is Sheeman and Shepard, it's must listen entertainment sports radio. They cover the gambit, from college to pro. The hosts are older, seasoned vets and the producer (30) brings a younger perspective.

They do national interviews and the hosts are from other parts of the country so there isn't just one sport or region that gets the bulk of attention. They encourage listener participation and every texter and caller get a name. Harry Caray is a Bills Fan and appointment radio at 5:30 on Fridays.

I've listened to sports talk across the country and I think this show takes the cake. Since this area is a melting pot there is no regional bias.

    Happy $%%#%&* birthday!

We wouldn’t want you driving under the influence of BBQ, or joints. But have a birthday beer or two on @Gugny. He’ll reimburse you, he’s that kinda guy! 🍺 🍻 He’ll get an Uber too if you have too many ribs.

Damn you…..now I can’t get prime rib out of my mind now. It’s been a while……

I have never met the young @Gugny. However, he mentioned a restaurant and a special occasion, even the date. It took many text, PMs and phone calls to achieve my goal. When Gugs and party arrived, they were presented with a round of margaritas. The waitress announced "this is on flaz". I live in swfl and Gug in NY

  3. The hammer was a regular on the Neil Rogers show, from 10-2 in Miami back in the day. He was also on regularly with Jim Manditch (TE for the undefeated phish. Infact,  they had a show together on WIOD,  or another station, called Hank and the Bulldog (Manditch). Great radio back then on days the a.m. signal would reach from Miami to Ft Myers

His mom is hot.....but is a Trumper.  I am trying not to hold it against her

JP Losman's mother was a smoke show. Sat behind me in the endzone at the Miami debacle when we were ahead by 20  and lost the game in the second half

  5. I wear an Omega 300Hz "tuning fork watch" given to me by Mrs flaz in 79. It has an inscription on the clasp that makes it priceless to me. I had it refurbished 3 years ago to the tune of 750 bucks. I probably shouldn't wear it on a daily basis but I do

  6. I grew up in swny (Cuba) and moved to Cape Coral in 78. I've never been to a Bills game in OP but I've been to 9 games down here. Miami 6 (3 on bus trips out of Buffalo Chips), 2 in Jacksonville and once in Tampa.

My brother (from California) and I will be trying to get tickets to the home opener this year. Our cousin lives in Williamsville, should be a fun football family reunion!

Go too slow, the idiot behind gets you! I don’t mind driving around town in bad weather, but the highways scare me. I’ve had some life threatening issues going long distance, like when you want to pull over but you don’t know where “over” is, and you’ll just get crushed by a truck from behind.

Sometimes it’s better to adjust your plans. YUCK! What a tragedy.

I totally agree! Side roads or a rest stop are always an option.

I did drive blind once when I was in AZ. South on I-10 just before Tucson. A field had been freshly plowed and we wound up in a mini haboob for a quarter mile. Had to wash my shorts out in the sink!
