  1. Everyone's thoughts on CJ is "If he doesn't step it up now then he's out." All he gets is negative energy. This guy is in his second year and hasn't gotten the ball to show anything. I've definitely noticed a difference in CJ this year as to last year(when he has the ball). I feel that he knows he's not hitting a home run everytime up. He definitely needs some more development but we haven't seen enough to judge. I think the question should be,"What if he succeeds?" What do we do in the offseason if CJ actually holds it down these last 6 weeks. What if he finds the same flow that Freddy was running with. I like CJ and I like Freddy, but CJ is young and now is his first real opportunity. I have faith in CJ!!!!!!!

  2. CJ doesn't need 100yds to prove himself. He doesn't even need 20 carries. All he needs is to show that he can step into a game as a starter and have an impact. If he has a few tough hard runs and a few catches and a respectable yard total. Win or lose that's all that should be expected. All he needs to do is not fumble and be patient and tough, give the coaches the confidence that they have 2 backs that handle the load, not just one. HERE'S YOUR SHOT C.J. BUFFALO IS BEHIND YOU!!!!!!

  3. Idk about building a team around Fitz. Let's just build an f#$#$#in team. I like Fitz, I like him a lot. I like him in character and on the field. But the Bills jumped the gun with this contract and if Fitz doesn't get it together...whether it's his fault or not....I can't see paying him all that money. Fitz has a lot of potential but inconsistency doesn't work in the NFL, in any position.

  4. Always a big game against a division opponent and it's a win we should get at home!!! But NOT the biggest game of the season... that game was against the Pats. BUT.... the biggest stretch of our season is coming up. Home agianst the Jets then 3 straight road games against the CowGirls, Dolphins and Jets again. That road trip will decide the outcome of our season and as a seasoned Bills fan I've never felt more confident that we have the capability to beat anyone anywhere!!!!! Go Bills!!!!!

  5. I know I'm going to take some flak for this, and that there will be no shortage of people willing to write comments like "we're 4-1, be happy," or "a win is a win. It doesn't matter how you do it."

But a method of winning that will work over the long haul is fundamentally different from, and superior to, a method of winning that will soon fizzle out. The Bills' method of winning seems to be in the latter category.

Against the I-95 teams the Bills have played thus far (Patriots and Eagles), the Bills had nine takeaways and no giveaways. And yet, despite that insane +9 turnover differential, the Bills won both games by the skin of their teeth. This means that the Bills were significantly outplayed in the non-turnover aspects of the game, and needed all of those nine turnovers to eke out wins.

What happens when the Bills fail to achieve this kind of ridiculously one-sided turnover ratio?

Statistically, a good turnover ratio is highly correlated with wins, for obvious reasons. But teams' turnover ratios tend to change significantly from one season to the next. Two seasons ago that worked in the Bills' favor, as there were games Byrd won almost singlehandedly. His turnovers made the Bills' record better than its talent level would otherwise have dictated. Last season Byrd's turnovers dried up, and were no longer available to mask the team's overall lack of talent. That's why the Bills went 4-12. This season the turnovers are back again and (in combination with KC's implosion) are the main pillar of Buffalo's fast start. I do not believe that attaining turnovers at this ridiculous pace is sustainable, any more than the insane pace Byrd set during his rookie year was sustainable.

This should not be taken to mean that all is gloom and doom, or an implication that the team will never amount to anything. What it does mean is that Nix's rebuilding process is not as far along as the Bills' current record would seem to indicate. This team needs to play better in the non-turnover-related aspects of the game if its current success is to be sustainable. Maybe some of that can come from younger players already on the roster learning to improve. Byrd himself is a good example of this: he's playing better this year than last year. I also suspect the Bills will need at least one or two good drafts before they can truly become one of the NFL's top teams.

Check out this link Fitzbeast is the least sacked QB after 5 weeks. We are battling every game and we cannot overlook what this offensive line is doing. Not to mention how tough they've been in our running game. Tip your hats to this OL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. I know there has been a million posts about the D line in the last 24 hours. But I want to ask where people feel "The Fast And The Dareus" will be the most successful. His talent is so versatile that he can play a few positions. So should he be playing the 1 technique and the 3 (when we're in the 4-3) or the 5 in the 3-4? Or should we move him around from play to play. I can't wait to see some more preseason with him but it was definitely exciting to see him make an immediate presence!!!! From what I saw he might be able to return kicks too!!! J/K But I know it's preseason but to not be excited would be a dishonor as a Bills fan.

  8. I don't think there's a team in the NFL that the Bills can say "Yup, we r gonna win this game." So predicting 10 wins is a stretch. But it is football and any team can put a little burst together mid season and contend for playoffs. I'm the biggest Bills optimist. But even though I always think we are going to be improved I've learned not to tell anyone else that isn't a Bills fan cause I always end up with my foot in my mouth.

  9. The Bills are #1 in my view.

    Everyone else is doo-doo.

Well put, Bills always start the season #1 in my book as well. Until they prove me wrong!!!! Which recently has been around week 1 or 2. And everyone else is definitely DOO DOO!!!!!!

  10. Would hate to see Lee go. He's been our most talented player on offense in the 5 years. He's the best player on a bad offense. He had a bad year last year but his contribution to the offense in stretching the field. And you just can't stretch the field when your quarterback is consistently throwing the ball with pressure on him. We shouldn't be so quick to let him go from one bad season. Losing him would take away the player that defenses gameplan around and what would we really gain in return. A 3rd or 4th. He's more valuable than that!!!!!!

  11. Fast as in 4.8 or so at 6'7" -272 pounds! He's not running by safeties, he's running over them at a good clip!

4.8 Is fast enough and at that size he'll be an awesome red zone target!!! (which we could use) With the speed and talent we have on offense we don't necessarily need a TE to stretch the field. A good blocking TE with some decent hands and some size that'll create a mismatch nightmare in the middle of the field will do perfectly!!!!!!!!! Great pick up IMO!!!!!

  12. Would love to see Donte back in uniform. Low $$$ with high incentives. Of all the first rounders that have come and gone in buffalo I felt he had his heart in the team. We've been cursed with 1st rounders that now play for other teams and out of all of those players Donte is the only one who I ever thought really wanted BUFFALO as a franchise to succeed. He's great with the younger guys and I would love to see him on the field with this upcoming defense. Again though Low $$$
