Why do I think that Dion has a nice future as a politician somewhere...
-
I'm not terribly concerned by "plausabilitys"... The probability is that the Seahawks, who are hanging on to the 7th NFC seed rather tenuously, will beat a Steeler team that has had problems winning on the road all year long. But hey, this is the NFL and on any given sunday....

At this point I'm not too concerned with Diggs perceived attitude. All Top Athletes seem to have "Alpha" tendencies. As long as he doesn't start throwing furniture through second floor balconies I think things will work themselves out. Right now I am abit more concerned with Josh and our OC. Maybe as fans we got a little used to having Daboll to kick arouund. Hopefully Josh and Dorsey can learn from last year and improve in year 2 of their new schemes. Signing Dhop wouldn't hurt either. Kincaid shouldn't hurt either. No offense to Tommy Doyle but Kincaid should be a step up in class at that position.

I don't see why everyone is getting so bent out of shape over these things. They are probably Alien Drones sent to televise the SuperBowl back home!

though not exactly the same thing I will always remember this referee's explanation/call in a Bills-Jets game...

I was fortunate enough to get box seats yesterday. First time ever. That is another level of WTF are you charging? 4 Guinness (must buy 4), 6 Pepsi (must buy 6) and one substandard LaNova pizza was $165 plus tip.
Just Curious... How much was the tip?

A point I have never heard discussed in conversations of this type is whether "visitation" is actually practical/possible given the biological factors involved. Think "War of the Worlds" as an example. The Martians are defeated because they had no "resistance" to earthbound viruses and bacteria. What effect might COVID have if an alien race were to visit earth and become infected. Sending machines/robots/drones to survey and visit other planets seems like a safer approach, followed by some kind of direct radio/whatever contact between two different interplanetary species assuming both parties were actually interested in communicating. Any thoughts?

Actually, it's more likely that humans on Earth are the only intelligent creatures in our galaxy, and maybe even our neighborhood of galaxies.
If intelligent civilizations were so common that you could get 5 of them in 1 galaxy, we would have been visited by someone by now..
Define "Intelligent".... I doubt that Humans even qualify as such...

I don't know how far they will move up, but with the injury to Tre White I've felt all along that they will trade up for one of the top CB prospects.

Another one to mention is Paul Maguire and he played for the Bills as well.
Paul was the "color guy" though... Not the "Announcer"... I'm not sure you can compare the two. Announcing/Calling the game takes someone with a "voice" that can convey the "excitement" of the game whereas a color guy more or less just diagnoses or explains what just transpired on the field. Nowadays. you even have the league official talking about controversial penalties and the like during the broadcast. Cosell was kinda different though. Wasn't he one of the first "Third Man" in the booth people at the time MNF started it, or am I wrong?

I really can’t believe anyone thinks it is safe to have a 90-year old guy travel into outer space. Seems like it could be a bad idea.
Outer Space??? hardly...

I wouldn't trade a bag of mouldy tomatoes for Ertz at this point. We have our #1 Tight End. Your #2 tight end when you are only carrying two better be able to block. Ertz is an awful blocker.
I was gonna say much the same about Ertz. Knox has shown me enough at this point that Ertz is no real improvement. Barring injuries I'd stand pat at this point.

A Chiefs channel I read in one of my discords (it is proper knowledgeable football fans not homers) has been saying for a couple of weeks that they have bigger problems than most people have cottoned onto. Essentially:
- their corners suck;
- moving Jones to the outside has negated their own best defensive player;
- the receivers beyond Hill and Kelce suck;
- Sorenson is terrible;
- Reid's play calling has become monotonous and predictable;
- Mahomes looks less willing to take the short gains.
Unless this stiff was injured going into the game yesterday, I'd CUT him as soon as tat game was over. PITIFUL doesn't begin to describe how awful he played last night.

Agreed about Epenesa and Groot... Zimmer looked good too.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned electricity. Your microwave ovens would be entirely useless without ELECTRICITY. No cell phones either without electricity. No big screen TVs or Computers.
