Nate Silver on fire. Damn intellectuals!

I personally am more liberal than Obama, but since we have only 2 parties Obama gets my vote even though I'm here in South Carolina.

Boss Hogg, Cooter and Booger
Actually this GM / HC work together well and give some semblance they know what they are doing. The truth is both are in way over their perspective heads. Gailey would have made an excellent choice as OC under Bill Cowher who would direct him to build a strong running game. Even with Fitz at QB the Bills would be so much better if the RB's actually got 40 touches a game instead of the OC / HC wishfully thinking about it.
Buddy Nix is an excellent head scout, but the bottom line is that someone more knowledgeable should be making the draft choices. Lets not forget that Buddy Nix in one of his first pressers announced he wasn't the smartest guy in the room, and that was a room filled with media types. This franchise needs a brain at the top. Someone Like Bill Cowher / Marty S who knows talent, especially defensive talent.
Now Booger OTOH shouldn't even have a job in the NFL in any capacity as he has proven himself worthless at assisting George Edwards, and is even more worthless as the the Bills DC. How this man is still employed by the Buffalo Bills is beyond me.
Currently 3-5
@ Patriots L
Home-Dolphins L
@ Colts L
Home Jags W
Home Rams W
Home Seahawks L
@ Dolphins L
Home Jets L
They should finish 5-11, the Bills might just have the opportunity to draft in the top 5. Which might get them Matt Barkley, Geno Smith or Tyler Wilson. If Nix and CO are still in charge you can expect a WR-RB-CB to be the first pick
You think we'll win another game? I don't. Their spirit is broken. The lone bright spot is CJ, & Kyle Williams, but they can only do so much. Mario Williams is a non-factor on turf & we have 1 game left on grass @ Miami.
-
This depends where we draft. That guy JJ Watt impressed the hell out of me. I think we need a real solid guy at middle linebacker. Te'O will likely go in the top 10 & get major hype if his combine is on par with Patrick Willis.
-
You beat me to it. God awful! I will give Buddy rare credit for letting him go. Terrible player about to be cut or benched.
-
Remember the old saying "the south will rise again"?
Well it has, only in Buffalo!
We have 2 of the dumbest redneck, do-diddle, hapless clowns that run our organization. These guys need to be shown the door.
They are not leaders of young men. We need a competent football general as a coach, and we need a high IQ executive who understands the draft & free agency, and how to work over Littman & Brandon.
Doling out huge sums of money for mediocre talent, and putting franchise QB level money on a defensive end when you don't have one is insane.

I'll elect to go with science. Nate Silver is using a mathematical non-partisan methodology, and backs it with an algorithm. His predictions were so accurate in 2008 he predicted 49/50 states with the exception of North Carolina, that Obama won by the narrowest of margins. To anyone who has spent 20 minutes on Silver's 538 Blog, read the wikipedia page, and even non-partisan news critics everyone agrees that it simply looks at the hard data of the polls as a statistical average.
As Silver recently challenged Joe Scarborough, you think I'm wrong let's put $1,000 on this.

I am looking forward to making Romney a 1 Term President. haha

I'm throwing CO into Obama corner last minute
:Romney: Fla, Va, NC
Obama: Co, IA, WI, MI, OH, PA, NV, NH

290-248 Obama
I see Romney losing Virginia, but agree with your other choices.

There are 30 guys who have/had at least 100 sacks. The top ten are elite. He'll need at least 8 a year for the next 5 years to break into that discussion. And If you are correct about your grass theory, he'll never break a hundred playing for the Bills anyway.
That's why we need to put grass in the Ralph!
-
He's had 2 double digit sack seasons in his entire career--the last one was 4 years ago.
But yeah, lets dig up the turf for Mario's stats.
You can throw out his rookie year when he was 21 years old as everyone's rookie year is usually an anomaly. Even the great Bruce Smith put up a low 6.5 sacks as a 22 year old rookie.
Mario has put up 14 (16 games), 12 (16 games), 9 (16 games), 9 (13 games), 5 (in 5 games), & 4.5 (in 8 games so far).
Mario is only 27 and will have plenty of productive seasons and likely eclipse 100 career sacks putting him in elite company.
-
I've been harping on this all year.
Another game on artificial turf, another sack less game for Mario Williams. Coincidence? I think not. I've been advocating the Bills switch to grass, like the Cleveland Browns since I found this stat. You want to give your $100 million dollar investment every opportunity to flourish.
Here are his numbers for the season:
-
4 games on grass, 4.5 sacks, 1.125 sacks per game
-
5 games on turf, 0.0 sacks, 0.000 sacks per game
Here are the numbers for his career:
-
68 games on grass, 52.0 sacks, .765 sacks per game
-
20 games on turf, 6.0 sacks, .300 sacks per game
With 7 games left to play, Mario only has one game left on the schedule on grass, at Miami.
-
4 games on grass, 4.5 sacks, 1.125 sacks per game

I got a feeling that our "factory" is being shipped to Los Angeles.

Gailey is uninspiring.

This guy is literally a tenth of a second behind every play. His hips are like an offensive linemans. Great kid terrible corner.

The Jambrones
Time to Lose
There's a feeling
This time of the season
Don't Belong To Buffalo
All the Bills fans
Will be crappin their pants
'Cuz they know they were fooled once more
Leave the present with the last
13 years is a long time
It's time to get hit hard
It's time for more of the same
It's time to lose respect
And disrespect
Buffalo
Let's Go Buffalo
It's time to lose!
Gotta keep the status quo
And the loser reputation
One Bills Drive sure blows
We've got the best fans
And reward them with
A mediocre show
Leave the present with last
13 years is a long time
It's time to be hit hard
It's time for more of the same
It's time to lose respect
And disrespect
Buffalo
Let's Go Buffalo!
It's time to lose!
It's time to replace the Amish Rifle
And put a real receiver across from Stevie
It's time to get back to the days we ruled
And get a coach like Levy
It's time to use CJ & Freddy
Draft Geno Smith or Matt Barkley?
It's time for Gilmore & Dareus
To live up to the top 10 pick
It's time for a return to Ground & Pound
Think OJ & Thurman
It's time for Wanny to go bye-bye
Unshackle The Blitz
It's time to reinvent our brand
And play rough & scary
By 2014 we gonna play some games in January!
It's time to get hit hard!
It's time for more of the same
It's time to lose respect
And disrespect
Buffalo
Let's go Buffalo!
It's time to lose!

The fact Obama won '08 with 43% of white vote & 40% in '12 shows the demographic shift in the US. Additionally look at the increasing numbers of women winning. The Republicans need to get behind immigration reform, and give up on overturning Roe v Wade, and pay equality for women. They can't win without women, & minorities.
Democrats are always outflanking Republicans as the Tea Party owns the Republican party. Republicans can't win with the Tea Party fringe controlling their primary. Unfortunately the moderate republicans "Eisenhower's" haven't created their own party.
