  1. We've found out two things from this thread ...

    1. Vegas55 might be the dumbest Bills fan and might need to be cut or traded (I've seen spags and you and him would be great Jets fans together).

    2. Steve Johnson is the furthest thing from the problem on this team.

PS I know we lost to a sub par team last week, but it's ONE loss. None of us would have bet serious cash on the Bills going 3-0, so they went 3-0 and a hick-up aided with a bad call and lose a game. I know the Bills played horrible but at the least we know this team can win on their worst days. I think we chill out realize this is the best team we've had in a long time, and stop with the witch trials trying to figure out who are the bad players on this team. If we finish .500 it's a good season, if we go to the playoffs that f'ing awesome. So lets drop all the stupid talk, enjoy our winning team and show why Buffalo has the best fans and is the best F'ing pro-football town in the world.

I say our Buffalo Bills come flying out of the tunnel with this blaring (starting at the 1:30 mark) and I might shart on the nearest Boston Buffon in anticipation for the epic game that will unfold. Go Bills and screw the streak......it's OUR TIME!

I don't think buffalo is a glow stick fan base!

  3. Jim was one of the best QBs in the league during his era, and his numbers were always tops. Comparing Fitz's stats to a QB from 20 years ago doesn't show much.

Also youre right, we would be dancing the jig if a new guy was putting up those numbers. Our guy is in his 7th year.

Such a misleading post when you put the numbers next to each other. Why dont you show us how Fitz compares to other QBs over that span???

I don't think those numbers are that misleading. Jim Kelly was in his eighth or seventh out of college in 91. So are you saying that Jim Kelly would be less of a Quarterback today at the same time, then he was twenty years ago. I agree with this statement. Jim didn't pay off right away from the Buffalo Bills he actually snubbed the team, not trying to take anything away from Kelly he's my hero, but Fitzmagic wants to be here. Second he puts up great numbers, the reason people don't like him is he doesn't have the typical pedigree and measurables of a Quaterback. I like Fitz and I think he represents the Buffalo as a city better than Luck would. I know we can win with him.

  4. I'm going to make up a fake website and make my own power rankings, and put Buffalo number one. Then I'm going to follow it up with descriptions of that the Buffalo Bills are due, and Tom Brady, Rodgers, and every other Quarterback except Fitzmagic was in an airplane crash together. Then I can be an NFL insider.

  5. My take is Chan must be telling Nix he can get it done with the players he already has on offense, otherwise it really makes no sense to ignore the line like they have. I look at this team and see nothing but failure because of the lack of depth and talent on that line.

As bad as that line is I doubt Fitz is as bad as Tavaris Jackson is for the Seahawks, or John Beck is for Washington. The Bills will win 4-6 games this year and won't get that #1 overall

I like Fitz, he represents the Buffalo culture perfectly, I'm just afraid this is a setup. I think Fitz could be a top half of the League quarterback.

  6. Is your general outlook on life as sad and pitiful as your outlook for the Buffalo Bills?

It's not pitiful to be truthful. Here is the deal every team plans on members of their o-line being injured. What is our back up plan? Oh yea Chris Harison. I'm not trying to be a Debbie downer, I'm more stoked of the idea of having Luck, and a dynasty again. Nix knows what he's doing, look at San Diego. Bye Drew Brees oh look here come Philip Rivers. Wow, does this look similar to anyone but me. Honestly it's probably the best thing that could happen to the Bills.

  7. Actually, I think this is one of the more accurate rankings list I've seen. Save this and let's see how well he does compared to ESPN or NFL Network. What is so far fetched about this list? Atlanta has a great team. So does San Diego (my pick to get to the AFC Championship game). Detroit at 9? Why is that out there. Other than GB, that division is not good. They can easily go 5-1 or 4-2 in that division.

And, so what if the poster is new, or even the owner of the website? This is a Bills board and this was a relevant topic concerning the Bills. Moreover, I enjoyed reading it.

The power ranking is lame, I love the only thing keeping the bears back from top of the division is Cutler's decision making. What about the bears offensive line?. Second, San Diego is everyone's favorite until the season starts. They are the most talented team that never does anything.

  8. I honestly believe that no matter what happens this year they'll be looking for his replacement with the first pick (which at this point I'd guess would be around the 10-13th overall pick). So if Fitz doesn't want to sign a backup level contract it may very well be.

No way we draft beyond 9th overall next year. I think Chan and Nix have produced a test for Fitzpatrick. The line is below par, and one injury away from disaster, the receiving corps. is young and unproven. The reason Buffalo picked defense in the draft is they are building for 2012 and beyond not 2011. They disguised their efforts to look competitive while continuing to building. Really they want Fitzpatrick to fail, I don't see how this team on paper looks better than last year other than run defense. My point is I will watch every game but I think this is an attempt to manufacture bust season. If the team sucks they will let Fitzpatrick go, and give every draft pick to get LUCK. If you don't think he's worth it you are crazy. Luck is the next Peyton Manning, but wins big games.

  9. This guy's credentials are???

    1. Atlanta Falcons – An offense that is led by the next Peyton Manning with more weapons than Manning ever had. An underrated defense.

-How can you take that seriously?

    15. Cleveland Browns – They can control clock with Peyton Hillis and move chains with Colt McCoy. One of the best young, defensive lines.

-The Browns are the middle of the pack, hmm I don't think so.

  10. All I look for in pre-season is to look at the starting offense and defense are making assignments. As for everything else it doesn't matter ... Throws will be missed, special teams will not be special at all, and you most likely will only score a field goal. I'm glad Buffalo doesn't look like turds like the Dallas Cowgirls' two point conversion, but I guess it's a good time to practice. I think Dallas just wanted to win even if it was meaningless. The only thing I worry about is right-gaurd, and back up o-line. Please, Please, Please can we drop Maybin?

  11. I don't know why even watch sports TV or listen to sports Radio. It's funny I'm an expert because I state that the teams that will be good this year are the ones that were good last year. Then I get a name tag of Sports Analyst. I say wait for the season to start, and put the cards on the table. Pro football is the closest thing to a true card game. You don't see Analyst talk about the world poker tour and talk about who's going to win it from the start. I remember a few years back the Dolphins had a lead on the Bills, but good old lake affect snow came just in time. Bills could be the luckiest team in the NFL this year, and I'd take luck over skill any day.

  12. On a side note, if this team goes 9-7 they should be featured on Hard Knocks next year.

Wow, so being a Bills fan is based on the hopes we are on some b/s show. The determining factor of whether I buy NFL Sunday ticket isn't based on the previous years win record, but on how much can I afford to buy my wife so I can appease her. I've seen teams go from crap to kings, and to get down on a team that went toe to toe with the Steelers, Ravens and even the Patriots. I'm not scared of the NFC East, only the Eagles are a top tier team. One last point if you know the Bills are going to win or lose a game then why do they play the game??? That's right because of a known fact that pops up every Sunday "Any given Sunday any team can win no matter what (PERIOD)." You so called fans make me sick, what kind of Western New Yorker are you??? That's right the kind that complain about no job, so you sit on your A$$ collect unemployment, and complain about how crappy the Bills are on this forum. God help this pathetic group of citizens, and if I wanted to be apart of a pathetic fan base I would route for the Dallas Cowboys.

  13. Here is the deal Mr. Jimmy Spagnola (side note: your wanna be mob attitude is weak), the Jets were to busy making cap room for Nnamdi Asomugha, essential got caught with their pants down. So, they failed to sign there own free agents. I'm going to explain what is wrong with New Jersey and their Sports Teams plus their fans.

-No matter how archaic their speech is, they talk to much.

-They blow their loads on players like Mark Sanchez.

-Too focused on winning the Superbowl they forget how to win the games before that.

-Make sure to sign the players you want to keep before blowing the checkbook on other free agents. Lots of teams win the Superbowl without two lock-down corners. If Rex Ryan was such a great defensive mind he should be able to put pressure on the Quarterback with out Nnamdi Asomugha.

One question, I would think the Jets have their own forum, can't you bother your kind instead of us?

    Is that your mug shot?
