  1. Hmmmm,

    1. the Lions haven't really been good since Barry Sanders, Ittok them MANY years of inept play and drafting in the top spot (with many misses) to get to where they are this season (althought they are starting to look like the old Lions again)

    2. The Pittsburgh Pirates fans amy argue about whose owner is worst, only advantage they have is a great new ball park

    3. The Kansas City Royals (Also See above)

    4. The LA Clippers

    5. The Florida Panthers, Columbus Blue jackets, etc.

ok.. so let's put it this way... he's on a very, very short list...!!!

  2. Ralphy has gotten just what he has wanted for 60+ years. The opportunity to own a major sports franchise and pocket a ton of money in the process. What has he produced? Two, maybe three periods of competitive teams. Not that he actually produced them, he watched as they grew into contenders and dismantled them as soon as the bottom line approached his desired level.

If there is a major sports owner out there that approaches his pathetic level, please find one. Ever..?!?!?

... and to boot, he is in the Hall of Fame...!?!?! His bust should be full of graffiti, egged, you name it...

9.) Given the NFL’s much ballyhooed system of parity, it leads me to speculate that the Buffalo Bills might just be the most pathetic professional sports franchise in North America.

It's pretty tough to argue with this point... we made four super bowls in spite of ralphy boy, not because of him. those teams were bill polian's teams, not ralphs. when polian wanted to spend more to keep the team competitive, ralph stepped in and everybody knows how that story ended. and the only reason polian was hired in the first place was because ralphy stumbled upon him, and he originally came cheap.

my question is and always will be...how did this clown make it into the hall of fame?!?!?

  4. I'll agree with you though, generally Fitz's long ball is ugly.

Awesome call on the 4th down, we only need two yards, lets go for the endzone.

they've been doing that all year... go long on 3rd and short... the only times they attempt to go long is when they shouldn't. it worked the first couple of games, but me thinks everyone has caught up to chan's brilliance

  5. No separation by WRs all day. combine that with Fitz's inability to throw deep consistently and the Jets are a nightmare matchup for us.

hopefully we can actually find a WR in the draft that can separate... the nickel & dime passing attack only works so long in this league. need someone that can get deep and those are pretty hard to find undrafted & in the 7th round route... of course, which is the route our owner prefers

  6. Nice post. I thought the same thing when looking at the scouting reports. I couldn't be happier about the draft as a whole. I glad we didnt take a QB. I think we'll be looking to add a FA to backup Fitz, much better than Levi or a 5th-7th round rookie. If we don't add a QB in a FA....better hope Fitz doesn't get hurt early, or we'll be drafting Andrew Luck for sure...or maybe we should hope he gets hurt. Sorry guys, had to say it, and I love Fitz.

Either way, when we miss the playoffs AGAIN, we might as well do it right and totally tank at just the right time. Look at the Pittsburgh Penguins. They conveniently tanked twice and wound up with Lemieux and Crosby!!! Different sport, I know, but.... (and I am a Fitz fan BTW)

  7. I get the Bills needed upgrades on the defensive side and only time will tell the success or failure of this draft. Surely the potential is there for this draft to bear some fruit for years to come. However, choosing not to pick an impact TE, an LT or QB tells me that the Bills are either happy with their mediocre-at-best offense or that they have FA plans yet to play out. I get that you can't fill all the holes at once, but completely ignoring the offensive side of the ball is a head-scratcher to me. For God's sake, will we ever replace Jim Kelly or have a TE who can scare the other team?

.. we will be replacing Kelly in next year's draft with the 1st overall pick
