    You make some very good points. I wish that the problem was only as simple as firing Chan. I do believe that he is a very mediocre coach - there's a lot of them out there. The problem stems not only from Chan's inability to use his talent, but also from our GM's inability to give him players that can play. It's a two way street here fans.

     

    The man that holds the key to making this a winning franchise is NOT Buddy Nix. It's NOT Chan Gailey. It's not Ryan Fitzpatrick.

     

    It's Ralph Wilson. He will not hire a competent GM to run this team and even if he did give up the money and the power, no one wants to work for Old man Wilson.

     

    The biggest problem with this franchise is RALPH.

    Yea you kick it differently on a field goal...not a kickoff. 2 different things newbie. Kickoff, you try to get as much distance as possible. You don't have to worry about getting the ball over blockers.

     

    Our DEFENSE is playing fine. They could've stopped the Jets offense on that series if Rayner didn't botch the kick.

    What the f*ck does that have to do with anything? Do you kick the ball differently if you're backed up a couple yards? Is there a different technique u use? U kick the same on kickoffs. That KICK left our defense out to dry and SEARCY f*cked up coverage and left Plax WIDE OPEN in the end zone.

     

    And who was covering Dustin Keller on the first TD?

    actually... u do have to kick it differently if you are trying to kick it deep. he's an idiot for his kick but you can't put yourself in those positions. especially when the defense sucks to begin with.

    Yes, it's his, his, his and you're right, you can't have it...!!! And yes he wants to make as much as he can before he dies!! Don't like it? Get a life. You guys are clowns if you get mad at Ralph for running his business the way he wants.Sounds like the guy is making a ton of cash(thats the goal of any company). Free enterprise, you can always root for aonther team.

    sorry dope... but the fact that we wish for an owner that gives a rats ass about results on the field doesn't make us any less of a fan. and you're right in a later post, we don't know what he's thinking. and conversely, neither do you. and obviously, any business is "in it for the money". duh... thanks captain obvious

    Id like to get a guy like Dom Capers who schemse and blitzes and stuff. we are vanilla and we suck

     

    dom capers is pretty set in his ways in regards to the players he wants for his schemes. that would require commitment, and money, and i think we all know that won't work here.

     

    Good lord people we are a 500 team halfway thru the season. Most people predicted 3-13 for us now we are going to fire the entire coaching staff and start over because we lost 3 games?

     

    we are damn lucky to be .500 right now... at this time, we are by far the worst team in the league. not to mention we have regressed defensively from last year, and that's saying a LOT...!!! i understand that we have injuries, but what team doesn't? i would have no problem with gailey giving it another year, but we need new ideas on defense.
