  1. Good review, well written.

One thing I'd like to point out is that the first INT thrown by fitz I think it was a pass to S. Johnson which definitely should have been thrown. If it was a tad further downfield, it could have very well been a TD (and continued Johnson's streak for 6 games). In fact, I think it was in the presser.. you could tell Chan was crestfallen that play didn't pay off, because it sounded like that's exactly the play he was planning for that drive.

  2. While there's no question a pass rush would greatly help our secondary, there is no question they aren't playing as well as last year. Perhaps it's the schemes the DC is calling but you can't just give them a free pass because the opposing QB has plenty of time to throw.. They still have chances to make plays, and are still choking them up.

The secondary is not playing up to par.

  3. Yeah, I guess those old posts where you take people to task lie..like this one where you insult people for insinuating the Bills should take a look at an athletic OLB who got caught in a numbers game by all accounts. Sorry, my bad.

"caught in a numbers game" ?? so that's why the Bills should grab him? Come on, TWO teams even bothered to put a claim on him, you simply cannot give him that much benefit of the doubt. time will tell.

  4. While there wasn't enough evidence to overturn the call, in my opinion it should have been the other way around.. the ref should have given the benefit of the doubt on the call INITIALLY.. then look at the technicalities later on in the booth review.. at first glance it totally looks like a catch, on second it looks even more like offensive PI

had the ref ruled it a catch to begin with, there wouldnt be enough evidence to overturn it into an incompletion ... although wouldnt be surprised if they had anyway.

  5. Looks like he's actually playing better than garrard.. I admit I laughed when he came in but i can't root against him.. Make a game out of it!

WTF he didnt run out of bounds there!! he actually got the first!

  6. To be fair, he's a rookie QB on a very bad team with sparse talent. Homers should watch because it's probably what a rookie QB will look like on an otherwise talentless Bills team next year. If there is a season.

    Doesn't he have steve smith?

Pretty sure sam bradford could hook up with him behind carolina's line

  7. Sure could but may be throwing a bone to a veteran player. They ask him if he wants to be cut to look for a new team or go on IR knowing either way he isn't going to be playing for the Bills again. I am sure other teams are lining up to get plays benched by the Bills. Also as someone mentioned, it covers them for making the mistake in the first place.

Yeah I guess I figured this FO didnt really give a crap what the perception of them was but maybe he was a little "banged up" like Chan said. They were going to cut him soon anyway so it might have just worked out that way.

Anyways, if he DOES eventually go on IR and/or waivers I wonder who the replacement would be? Hopefully a linebacker

  8. When will all of you guys stop blaming Modrak? Modrak is a college scout plain and simple he grades the players as do all other scouts the grades are put on a board for the GM and Coach to make the choice of who to draft Modrak is not drafting players he is just grading players you need to look at who was the GM and the Coach at the time of the draft to blame anyone for bad picks not the scout.

How can you possibly defend the man?

Listen, ask any sane human if he needs to go.. the bills' drafts have been undeniably TERRIBLE for the past 10+ years.. who was the head of scouting for these drafts? Tom Modrak since 2001. It doesnt make any !@#$ing bit of difference if he was overruled or if he didn't draft the players. HE IS THE HEAD OF SCOUTING. How can the onus not fall on him? How?

  9. I'd also think this would make him more enticing to someone. However, Evans causes no problems and he's not preventing anyone who should be on the field from being on the field. Our rookie QB is gonna have to throw to somebody next year, so unless we get at least a 2nd rounder, I'd say no way to a trade.

I think nix would crap his drawers if someone offered a 2nd for Evans
