  1. Tasker was pretty bad. But man, did you see the way Ray Bentley was bobbing his head back and forth at times and squinting at the camera. It look like he was trying to read lines from a teleprompter. I was laughing so hard at one point i had to turn the channel for a minute or two.
  2. I have to agree with you Tarkus. Brohm didn't look great tonight, but Brown looked attrocious. He will probably end up on the PS but I'm not convinced he really diserves it.
  3. I've been a fan for 30 years and I'm with you guys on this one. I never understood the Idea of booing your own team. Get mad, yell at the TV, curse them out and ask them what the F they were you thinking, but never booing. If you claim to be a fan, then be a fan and support your team.
  4. I have to agree with the poster on this one. Without a CBA in place and a possible lockout looming, teams will be looking to dump high priced players that are giving little in return (Hanesworth). If this influx of available players are willing to negotiate contracts to help aliviate the finiancial stress thier salaray will cause....then yes I can see buddy picking up 1 maybe 2 younger players that fit our scheme. Other wise he stands pat and many of these players may find they have no team to play for.
  5. I for one am not intrested in players that disrupt the team with shananagans. Pick players that are smart and technically sound in there game and you can build a winner with the right coaches. Coaching is the key.
  6. Maybin has no ties to this Administration. I say if he can't cut it and get into the starting rotation, you gotta cut him. He's a first rounder costing us a-lot of money. I can't see paying the guy what he's getting paid to be a backup for the back ups. Right now he's part of the third string defense.
  7. OK. Does it even matter. Anyone we look at will be on the wrong side of there career anyway or a no name low quality player.
  8. opposed to a Free agent Rookie. Which is an undrafted rookie. A Free Agent Veteran would be a player that has more than one year of experience. I'm no genuis but it seem like there is a diffrence to me.
  9. You are correct. A player can not go on the PUP list after the start training camp on the active roster. I stand corrected. I don't see them putting him on IR though. So i guess I would probably cut him out right. I can't see any reason to keep a guy that can't stay healthy.
  10. I can't refute your numbers. I can only say that when it comes to prototypical quarterbacks, fitz does not fit the mold. Neither does T.E. either, but we still don't really know how good Captain Checkdown can be where as we already know Fitz is a second rate QB with a moderate Arm. Brohn is the Prototypical QB. 6'3 225LBs (around that anyway), and has the big time arm. His problem is he has no real game time experince stating only 1 game in Buffalo and I don't think he even saw the field in Green Bay. A few years under a good staff and Edward and Brohm could become decent maybe even good QB's. I don't see that for Fitzy bouncing from the Rams, Bengals and now Buffalo. Just my opinion.
  11. I whole heartedly agree with this statement. IMO late camp trades won't be Buddy's style. My guess will be Schouman will go on the PUP list and a free agent vetran will be brought in. If the Vet works out Schouman will either stay on the PUP for the year or get cut. The guy can't stay healthy and IMO is not really all that good anyway. Fitzy gets cut out right before the season starts and Brohm will be the number 2. Again... Just MHO.
