    I hate this crap, because every time the Bills start a HC search I have no preference and no idea who the candidates are...and then, rather than ignoring everything and waiting for the process to finish I become enamored with a candidate and am then disappointed in who they hire -- even though I have no real reason to be.

     

    The choice to continue being a Bills fan is a complicated, perplexing decision.

    Guys, GUYS! So, Kelly totally threw her jello at Jenny at lunch today. But she missed Jenny and hit Lisa. Now Lisa is PISSED and totally hates Kelly too. I heard from someone (again NOT TELLING WHO) that Lisa and Jenny are going to team up and get Mr. Blake to fail Kelly in science. I also heard from someone that Mr. Blake is totally going to do it! Everyone hates Kelly and she's going to get kicked out of school!

    Belichick has traded Mankins, Chandler Jones etc. He doesn't worry if his sentimental fans think he's crazy, he simply maximizes value and profits where he can. He's not afraid to part with a good player if its best for the franchise and adds value.

    You'll notice my post said "if Kouandjio is legit." So its not if he shows a little promise like you say, I'm talking about a scenario where they're confident that Kouandjio can play left tackle

    Cordy Glenn playing left tackle is worth more than Cordy Glenn playing right tackle. The same player on the left side is worth more in terms of both money and impact on W/L. Protecting the blindside is a valuable commodity that teams pay for. A team that can't play Glenn at left tackle doesn't benefit from him as much as a team that needs an LT, and so there's a natural opportunity to profit. For a team like the Bills who are desperately seeking a QB and who will need to re-build their core soon, the ability to get younger and cheaper AND add a draft pick is a blessing.

    If you paid closer attention, you'd know.

     

    Also, you'd know that I've been an EJ guy since he was drafted so to you, Koolaid and Super Dave Osborne - I'm not trolling.

     

    The same people who proclaimed that EJ "sucks," after 14 starts in 2 years are the same people who are saying that "we still haven't seen Tyrod's ceiling."

     

    But Tyrod is entering his SEVENTH season next year and has had twice as many starts as EJ.

     

    Before you "go there," I'll go all 8-Mile on you and save you the trouble:

     

    EJ had a horrible 4-minutes vs. the Jags in a loss.

    EJ threw a horrible pick-6 to JJ Watt vs. the Texans in a loss.

     

    Mic drop.

     

    What else ya got? For a guy who was in the league for 2 years and had 14 total starts?

     

    Nothing. That's what.

     

    Tyrod Taylor is "this close" from being dumb enough to collect state benefits for life. He "led" the team to a passing offense ranked 31 out of 32 (that's not good, Dave. You're welcome). He can't read a defense. He has no pocket presence. If he chooses to throw the ball more than 10 feet in the air, his consistency is horrible. He's only successful with the home run balls on the sidelines ... OH ... which NEVER happen when we NEED A TOUCHDOWN.

     

    EJ is smart. He is mobile. He is accurate. Is he perfect? No. But he's never had the chance to raise his game.

     

    Until now.

     

    Whaley's guy. Whaley's choice for HC. EJ will be the starter on week 1 2017. Take it to the bank. (That's a place where you deposit/withdraw money, Dave).

    I chose to be a fan in 1987. Dad's side of the family was from NY. I was born and raised here in CA. I really don't know why I chose to be a fan. Was it the helmets? The fact that family came from there? Not sure. All I know is, this has been a long, draining experience, but wouldn't change it for nothing. It will all be worth it when they finally when a Super Bowl. :thumbsup::D
