  1. The Buffalo Bills have scored 1 touchdown in the last 3 games going back to the last 2 of last season.....was there some drastic change on the offense to suddenly propel them to a 30+ point output?

    Or are they just DUE?

I find it hard to believe that the Bills couldn't get in the endzone more than once in 12 quarters even with Gilbride calling plays for 8 of them....

  2. "Wanny- May be the 1st HC fired this season. He formulated a terrible game plan. It looked like the fish were winging it the entire game.

Yeah....what a piece of stevestojan game plan....he should have accounted for and been ready for his 1st string and 2nd string backs to BOTH be injured by the end of the 1st half....I know Belichick would have been ready for it! Prolly didn't help any not having Rob Konrad out there, but, he knew that going in....

Lamar Gordon was there for 2 days before the game....2.

I'll tell you one thing.....Jay Fiedler let the Coach down bigtime, he hitched his wagon to Fee Fee's big ears and they just didn't hold up under the pressure. Both his crucial picks came with very good pass protection, just terrible decisions w/ poor execution....1 in scoring position and the other on Titan's side of the field...

Feeley will get his shot to take 80% of the snaps with the first team and should have more continuity with the O-Line and skill position players....Feeley's pick returned for a TD was a mis-read on the part of GORDON....it was an option route that the inexperienced Gordon read wrong.....

too many turnovers and penalties killed them yesterday, things that happen when you're not playing well...

Very good post sfldave1....I just don't see the Fish front office canning Wanny during the year in what has already been a tumultuous off-season leading into game 1....as bad as Wanny can be...stability is what the Fins need right now...

  3. Getting the best receiver on the Bears for a pass rushing defensive end is a little like trading Jevon Kearse for the best running back on the current Fish roster.  Not sure I'd be real happy about that.

Optimism before the first game can change real quick.

    Darin....

What pass rushing defensive end? Is it your belief that O-Gun would have ended his hold-out and played for the Fins in game 1 and beyond? My point is that the Fins got something of need for a player that was adamantly holding out for a BIG PAYDAY...how it works out for the Fins is something nobody knows...I just know the Fins will have 2 players on the field for the first game and beyond instead of a player holding out. AND they will be paying far less for these 2 players than 1 Wale.....

Do you have any idea what the BEARS are paying O-Gun?

  4. Rick Spielman took Ogunleye,a player that was absolutely sitting out the 1st 10 games of the year and holding out for HUGE MONEY and traded him to Chicago for their BEST receiver and a 3rd round pick......

He then takes a 3rd round pick and trades it to the RAMS for a running back with very good upside potential and could put up decent numbers as a starter....

I'm the first to admit I'm a bit of a Homer....but, I think this was a great move by the Fins front office....a starting receiver, and starting RB for a disgruntled holdout who had Rosenass as an agent looking for Jevon Kearse type signing bonus....

It'll all come down to how fast the O-Line will be able to play as a productive unit....if they can just play adequate....the Fins D will keep them in many games...

As for "not to mention what they gave up for Boston???????" If memory serves, it was a 6th round pick
