I just want the Bills to get players that make a difference on and off the field. I don't watch enough college football to know who projects well to the NFL. I don't think I've stressed about the draft, but I sure enjoy watching it and reading about it afterwards. Yes, there's the moments of nervousness, especially when there is a player you think would be good that you have one more teams' pick to get through (Patrick Willis a few years back). I'll be interested in the draft, but will leave the stress to: my wife's cancer treatments; going to my best friends' mom's funeral tomorrow; understanding my elderly, mostly disabled by knee operations, parents' desire to move back to Western NY from California; increased prices with decreased income; and the job losses that could wreak havoc in our office.
And in the grand scheme of things.... Those are way more important things to stress about.... Hope your wife gets better.
You want something to stress out about how about this. I lifted my cover for my pool on saturday & the linar came off the tracks & I believe it is ruined since there is water behind the wall now. Now I am trying to convince my home owners that excessive ice caused the damage. If they deny the claim though I am going to be out $3,600(that was the estimate I got from Majestic this weekend.
Isn't that insurance fraud? Not that it matters to me. I am just curious.

Makes sense. Hope they get it done before then.... My wife has family in Denver and she wants to go see them this summer... I just happend to mention a certain weekend in August that would be best for "my work schedule".. So I hope there is a full preseason

The Toronto game screwed me last year. My cousin is a diehard Bears fan. We planned on making the trip. He wanted to see the Ralph. Eat wings and drink beer. Then the schedule was released and we both said no thanks.

Not true.... The Maloofs own the Palms and the Kings. You can't place bets on the Kings at the Palms. There are ways around the sports book. Plus we have UNLV and you can bet on those games. The NHL, NBA and MLB have said if they would build a modern arena/stadium they would be interested in putting a team here.
Thomas and Mack center seats 18,500 for basketball the only problem is that the luxury boxes are too small and out dated.

I am shocked that the Maloofs are moving the Kings. I am even more shocked they are moving them to Anaheim. There will be 3 NBA teams 30 miles apart. That seems insane to me.
For those that don't know the Kings are owned by the same brothers who own The Palms hotel and casino in Las Vegas. Although I don't believe in teams moving from viable locations, it seems they would move them to Vegas. Vegas is trying to build a new arena. There are three possible projects. Two with real teeth. It seems that if they wanted out of Sacramento they would back one of those projects.

When I first heard him talk, he fell off my 1st round draft board. I wasn't a BIG fan of him coming to buffalo due to the fact I think his game will shine if he has a good pass blocking Oline. I don't regard our Oline as that. But hearing him talk, solidified my thoughts his slide to the 2nd round. I liked McKelvin when we first picked him, then I heard him talk and I almost fainted. I still like him as a player, but wow, wtf Leodis? How can did he graduate HS, let alone college? Just my opinion, i hope no one gets offended.
Holy crap I thought the same thing about McKelvin. And Parrish.. I haven't heard Mallet talk. Although it doesn't bother me that he called him a wigger. I do think it is wrong. It is a racial slur. Replace the W with a N and it would be the story of the century and he would be fired... It's a double standard. In my opinion it's the same as calling a black person that sounded "white" a uncle Tom.
Although I just read the article and he didn't say the word wigger....

Listen, CI is still alive and well trhough the playoffs. If the game is a versus or NBC game, only on versus or nbc, otherwise it will be carried by MSG.JOined in progress means that still on msg, it is not the main versus game.
so on DTV, if you pay for the local sports package, game is on 638 and 638-1.
if you have CI, game is 770, 770-1, 771, 771-1. So they are carrying both the Philly feed and the buffalo feeds
Ok I just called them back and your right... Only problemo is I don't have center ice. I will however have it next year. So I will just have to miss this one. I will go to the bar for Saturday and watch at home for Monday. Hopefully they advance and I can catch the games then....
DTV wants $80 to order CI... A little to steep for me and I don't have time to argue it down....

Directv told me that center ice is over and the playoffs don't count towards that... They also told me 638 is regional and that versus decides which games will be aired. So basically I will not be able to watch it... Looks like I will only be able to see Monday's game.

I got tired of going to bars for the bills games...that's why I got directv... Got to expensive... That bar looks a little run down but it's nice to hang out there before rebel games... Good food cheap beers.... Good crowd...
638 is showing the game.. I don't get the channel so I will have to call Directv. Maybe I can get it that way. Might only be a eastcoast feed.... Thanks for the info
