Skyline coneys on Cincy side I think,  vs a Cleveland “Polish Boy” - I’m told it is kielbasa on a bun covered with fries, then hot sauce, then BBQ sauce, then coleslaw.

    I’ll stick with the wings!

I’ll agree that wings are my favorite food group, but that polish boy sounds delicious. I’m confident I could have one of those and still put a couple dozen wings down.

    Pizza and various drinks

going to a friends annual draft party tomorrow and the theme is Cleveland food vs Cincy food competition because it’s all browns and Bengals fans but I’m bringing wings because Buffalo fans actually have good representative food

Hey now, the dip made with cream cheese, skyline chili, cheese, and onions is rather delicious!

  3. Moore is a game changer and he’ll be a stud in the NFL if he can stay healthy. Defenses literally schemed around limiting him when he was in the field. He’d literally have 3 guys on him.

Grab Moore this year and go back to the Purdue well for David Bell next year and don’t worry about receiver again for a bit.

I think their defense is awful

    They've had an easy schedule

To be fair it's my overall opinion of the conference and they are one of its top 5 teams.  I just don't think of the 4 remaining teams they should have been the favorite to me they are the 4th best.

So when I say frauds I mean they are not a top 5 team in the league and if Rodgers isn't on they will not beat good teams.

This is an interesting take. I didn’t look at the stats, but I expect they’re a top 10 defense and a top 5 offense on the season. I think that’ll get you deep into the playoffs every year.

The “first kiss” analogy doesn’t work here.

I think the more apt analogy is this— hiring a new coach or GM is like filing for bankruptcy and having to start over. Your Credit is terrible, you still owe a bunch of money, you have a lot of problems, and your future prospects are risky and unknown. No thanks.

Yeah, but you never know. The person you’re sharing that new first kiss with could be bat crazy or have a foot fetish or something.

    That's...sarcasm, right?

    Yes.

  6. If there was one thing that always brought  a ton of excitement it was the process of searching for a new coach and GM. I look around at all of these other teams and read the news about interviews and new coaches addressing the media and we’re here with all this continuity.

It’s almost like realizing I may never get that first kiss again. I’m in year 4 of a marriage, and sure we’re doing new things and it’s still exciting at times, but it’s the same person. I may be stuck for life with the same person.

I guess I’ll TRY to focus on and get pumped for the AFC Championship game instead of focusing on what other teams are doing.

I'd like to see McKenzie get more looks.  He certainly earned it after the Dolphins game.. and I think he had just a single target this game?

If Beasley and Davis aren't quite right, McKenzie needs to get more looks.

I’ve made comments about this before and my wife probably gets tired of hearing it 40 times every game. Even with everyone healthy, McKenzie needs more touches.

Touch passes in the backfield, quick plays to the outside, sweeps, screens, etc. I would even love to see him as part of a two back set where he gets a pitch from Allen and a chance to take it around the edge. Even in a more traditional WR role he has shown he can get open.

We have a lot of weapons on this offense and everyone deserves their opportunities. It’s difficult to always work in a role player like McKenzie and I get that. But, his speed and elusiveness with the ball in his hands should be something we use to our advantage.

I’ll also add this. I think some of the plays we saw early in the season that have disappeared as of late, like the fake end around and sweeps to McKenzie that we saw multiple times a game early in the year, come back in the AFC Championship and SB with new wrinkles/outcomes. Like the plays where McKenzie was always in motion but never got the ball, he’ll actually get the ball. Or the hard counts on 4th and short, we’re going to actually snap some of those and run a play.
