I really like Lawson & Phillips and it would be great to keep them both. Would think we could sign Lawson to a 3 year deal for about $12mil/yr then tag Phillips.

I just want to go on record & say that I predict Herbert will be the best QB in this draft. That said, I don’t want him in Miami.

They should not have been allowed in the playoffs after being caught cheating yet again. They should be fined BIG time. Strip them from all comp draft picks, 1st & 2nd rnd picks & lower their cap. The NFL needs to send a message but our Jamestown boy, Goodell has his head so far up NE’s @ss, doubtful much happens.

Houston made halftime adjustments. Watson started getting the ball out quickly. Our D wilted late. Allen needs to do better. In Buffalo we think he’s going to be great. I read other fan sites around the USA and they think Allen is a mess and somewhere between Mariota and Trubisky on the scale of QBs. He has raise his level of accuracy going forward and learn to throw passes with more of an arc instead of always so flat. That’s my opinion.
Quick passes are the Achilles heal of our D & unfortunately our O doesn’t have a decent quick-pass game. Josh has GOT to learn to fire that ball out a lot quicker - he seems like a mobile version of Bledsoe

Allen definitely needs to get better, while he is improving, we need to find out how high his ceiling is. Seems he does well at reading the D & play calling, it’s his execution that needs a lot of improvement. With that said, we also need a more aggressive coaching staff. The conservative play calling will only get you so far, as proven yesterday.

But in a serious note, I pin 90% of this loss on Daboll, and 10% on McDermott for not demanding more of Daboll late in the game.
Even Frazier went into prevent mode - 3rd & 18 and we have 5 players drop over 20 yards back and rush 2 = Totally STUPID!

Way too early for this. Daboll would go right back to NE & we would regret it for years. We got rid of Greg Roman too quick and look how he’s doing now. I do disagree with this close game, chess match strategy but let’s give him a little more time.

I’d like to see us start the game with a solid passing attack (just keep it AWAY from Gilmore) and connect on some deep passes to back the D up.

23. Buffalo Bills (9-3)
Tee Higgins, WR, Clemson
The Bills have helped the second-year development of Josh Allen with veteran wide receivers John Brown (deep threat outside) and Cole Beasley (reliable slot man inside). But they still could a dangerous, all-around playmaker who can be a force in the red zone. At 6-4, 215 pounds, Higgins has posted 40 receptions for 799 yards and 8 TDs in 11 games this season.-

Refs have definitely favored the phins so far. We have gotten some terrible ball spots & that roughing the passer call was total BS.
