  1. [puts on foil hat]

Maybe, knowing how hard it is to sell out one of the largest stadiums in the league during the winter, the NFL is trying to either force the Bills to either force the Bills into a domed stadium or to move, by creating a situation where they won't sell out the games if the team isn't doing great

    [takes foil hat off]

  2. Should be interesting. At the very least I'll be able to hear the game while driving across Canada (Though with satellite radio, null point).

When the Olympic finals hockey game was on WGR, I got their signal from Buffalo until the game ended when I was about 10 miles short of Sarnia, ON.

  3. I believe the rule is you cannot just turn around and drill the QB on an interception as if he was a regular player and you were just throwing a regular block. In other words, same good clean block on the TE would be a 15 yd penalty if thrown at the QB on a pick or a fumble return.

That is a bunch of BS. If he throws a pick or fumbles, and then tries to make a play to stop the other team from running with the ball then he should be treated as just another player.

Wow this league is getting way too protective of their QB's.

  4. 380 pounds??

    Officially 383:

The 6’4” 383-pound lineman admitted making the transition back to offensive line took a bit of time.

“It was kind of weird because I had totally focused my mind on playing nose tackle,” said Jasper. “So finally getting it back geared up to offensive line it wasn’t until this past month that I got all the way back mentally to being an offensive lineman. I’ve really tried to hone back in on the technique because I had thrown it all out the window to focus on my pass rush and stopping the run. Now I’m feeling pretty confident in my run blocking again and I’m still honing in on the pass pro technique.”

Jasper has been working primarily at guard, but has also seen work at offensive tackle and center.

“(offensive line coach) Joe D’Alessandris has been working on my snaps before practice and turning me into a bit of a center so it’s been kind of fun, but I think I’m a guard first and then a probably tackle second knowing I played there when I was at Tennessee-Martin.”

  5. I think people are reading too much into the use of Choice. He got used a lot this weekend because he's a similar runner to Fred. Big and runs between the tackles, while being able to pass block. Those are 2 things that Spiller isn't as good at. With the loss of Fred, Gailey needed a big back and picked up Choice.

If it were Fred in there, chances are some of those drops and misses would have converted, and people would be complaining about not using FredEX enough. Looks like Gailey is really focusing on trying to be able to use 2 different style backs for next year, it just happens that our good power back is on IR right now.

  6. I think Chan's issue may be that he overthinks himself. He tries to get tricky in ways that don't work. Saw that yesterday in some short yardage redzone work. Maybe its just late in the season so he's trying some things. We'll see next year how he does. Hopefully we'll have a good season of no injuries and enough talent rebuilt that we have nothing to blame over the season but the coaches. We should be at the very least knocking on the door of the playoffs.
