  1. Everyone who thinks their team has the worst owner in the league has never seen any other team's fans. Go to Detroit, and their fans have been calling for Ford's head for years.

That being said, Ralph may be one of the worst left since Al Davis died. Yes, he has brought moderate success and team stability for ages, but he's never been very good.

  2. Will it stop the losing? Probably not this year. It is of my opinion that there are probably 2 or 3 coaches on the staff right now that would make better decisions that Chan Gailey has. Blind firing? I don't think so. This organization needs to send a message to the players and the fans. Fire him now and promote Wanny to interim HC. Get a game plan together for the off season.

Wait... You think Wannstedt would be a better HC than Chan, and that someone within the organization would be a good HC? If they were to promote from within, people would then be calling for Nix's head (or Ralph's some more) for promoting from within!

  3. He was never on the radar IMO until he beat 'Bama. Then suddenly he was the greatest player in the history of the sport. He got away with being arrested because no one cared at the time and everyone who voted for the Heisman just decided to make history by having a freshman be the winner for the first time.

  4. One thing I noticed immediately yesterday was the speed difference between Spiller and Fred. When Fred broke through the line, he didn't accelerate any more, and just kept running and powering his way through the defenders that were easily catching him, but then when spiller had the ball, especially on his TD run, he turned the corner and was gone. For the first time, it seems we really did use the change of pace backs as a compliment to eachother. Spiller on a few more plays would have been nice, but it did seem to work well overall.

  5. If this is all true, then he will in no way last until pick 42 and beyond (Bills probable 2nd round slot). The Bills would have to "reach" and burn a #1 pick on him and if he does have the talent you suggest, at this point I'd be completely ok with it.

I think that burning picks on QBs in the 1st isn't as costly as it was in the old days, when the contracts for rookie 1st rd QBs were outrageous. I think the Bills should pick a QB in rd 1 of this class and if they have doubts after a year in their system, then do it again in 2014. The Bills, Jets and Dolphins haven't been anything since Kelly, Namath and Marino left their respective buildings. Finding a QB is #1 priority and if they have to crack a few high pick eggs to do it then so be it.

Big arm, great size, good athlete, can't read defenses, and we'd have to reach for him in the first round... Sounds EXACTLY like Losman.

  6. Well I'd happily go to a game when I'm home for winter break, if anyone is willing to give me their tickets... Actually I might wind up getting some anyways as they might wind up being cheap, and if the weather's good, what the hell.
