  1. The Bills have proven they are no better with Byrd than without him, he is NOT a difference maker..

I agree........ It's all about the money he thinks he is worth. The Bills should tell his agent bring us a deal that's worth what you think he is worth an we will trade him!!! Really kinda of simple.

  2. I ma here and support Fitz and pround he is our QB If you took Romo an put a line in front of him with 3 string at LT 2 string at LG an 2 string at center A Number One Reciever who has had the flu for a week now Against that defense He would Suck to. With that being said Our Defence should be ashamed they were even out there. Only a few we playing the rest were horrable. Oh an we have a few guys out there to. I think our team has come a long way. an this is only the begining of something special. I think if your not behind your team, then are you reall a fan of the Bills?

  3. Although the thought of adding a Reggie or Brandon sounds Intresting to say the least. I can't help thinking of all the money other teams spend on players EXample Eagles talented players Yes? there 1-4 Bills 4-1 with players they had at start of year including backups. Not sure what they are going to do but In my opinion they do need a reciever or to R Martin has done nothing but take up space. Maybe put spiller out wide he's got speed an can catch

  4. At first, all the never-ending naysaying was nerve-wracking. But now I realize I just wasn't being analytical enough in my fandom.

So...the top 10 reasons why the Bills are doomed for another season of sorrow:

    1.
    2. We can't win every game. 4-1? I hate to sound negative, and I know I'm going to catch flak for this, but that's only three losses from .500. Think about it.
    3. We don't have any consistency on offense. Pass crazy one game. 100-yards-plus running another. We simply have no identity.
    4. We can't win without raising blood pressure. The only team to register wins in back-to-back 20-plus-point-deficit games? We should have blown the Pats and Raiders out in the first quarter.
    5. We have no consistency in the way we win. Blow out one game. Big come from behinds in two others. And a close game in which the opponent was never ahead of us. Hate to sound picky and all, but true winners win in a consistent fashion.
    6. We don't know how to capitalize on interceptions. Eight turnovers against NE and Phili and we only win by a combined 10 points?!? We should have won by at least 16.
    7. We have a mediocre QB. A 10-4 TD-INT ratio? Fitz couldn't even do better than Matt Stafford at 11-3?
    8. We have a mediocre RB. Freddie Jackson, who is heralded as our supposed No. 1 player on offense (please), has only broken one play--one!--over 40 yards and only has 96 yards on average per game. He couldn't get 100 or more like McFadden or AP?
    9. We can't stop the run. We have clearly forgotten about the run (bottom middle tier) and only care about intercepting more balls than anyone else. That's a mark of a truly weak defensive team.
    10. We can't tackle. Our top tackler is a...safety? Yet another mark of a truly bad defensive team. Wilson barely has more tackles than the geriatric Troy Polamalu for Christ's sake.
    11. We can't overcome bad officiating. The one team we were supposed to beat easily, and we can't find a way to overcome a last minute blown call by the ref? The Pats would have found a way to win, even with their bad D.
    12. We don't kick enough field goals. Only nine attempts? That's near the bottom of the league.
    13. We don't have a QB who can grow a decent beard. He still looks like he should be pitchforking hay in Pennsylvania, not marshaling a 4-1 NFL team that's No. 1 in the AFC East.

Feel free to add on to the negativity here. I've barely scratched the surface of why this pretender-who-thinks-they're-a-contender team will flame out this year.

And No. 13. Bills fans are so stupid they can't even count.

If you dont know how there going to win the next game or the one after that because they dont have a routine. Maybe you belong on the fox 68 with them guys they havent figured it out either. along with KC Raiders, NE an almost Bengles an now eagles.

I know one thing when your play is the same there gonna figure you out. when they dont know whats coming well it's a little difficult. Do you think The eagle's honestly thought we were gonna blitz like we did? How's that for not knowing.

  5. I Remember seeing Spiller catch a deep one last year an go deep on a few others the man's got leave ya standing there speed Just Sayin........:nana:

This board is so hard to stomach after a loss.....

There is NOTHING wrong with this offense or anybody on it.......Buffalo right up there for most potent offenses in the league.....

And I would not call the Raiders defense chopped liver either......

I agree were not gonna win em all!!! Some of them just not playin to there skill set that day!

  6. The best way to beat Brady is to get pressure with just four (not the three the Chargers are doing at the moment), and take away the middle. He is still going to put up some points, so make sure you score and run Freddie to keep him off the field as much as possible.

It is fun going in to the game as a 2-0 team with an excited home crowd. You never know in the NFL, and Brady can have an off day and we can end our losing streak to them, but it will be different. I wouldn't mind seeing some minor injuries against the Chargers and have them banged up, but I never wish a serious injury on anybody, including Marsha.

Why not think ouit of the box How did we beat the Raiders??? out scored them?? Hmmmmm.....

Run The Ball keep Brady parked on the bench That might work for a half or so I am pretty sure we can run on them.....

  7. Ok, so I braved the late night game and watched the Raiders closely, and I have a few thoughts on what we need to do to beat them. IN no particular order.

    1. Pressure Campbell - We should be able to do this effectively = win

    2. Plug up the holes inside with Our DT's and win the edge - McFadden runs more for the edge than inside and this is where we need to stop him = win/loss

    3. Dicipline - Raiders looked young and undiciplined last night, and this is a big plus for us, if we stay as diciplined as in the KC game. = win

    4. TE's will be big in this game as they were in KC. Move the ball around and we will be fine = win

    5. One on one our CB's match up well with the Raiders, WR's. This will give us a lot more options with strong nickle packages. = win

    6. Solid tackling will win the day. = win

    7. Turnovers. Keep them down, and we = win

I didn't see anything last night from Oakland that particularily scared me, other than the Reece/McFadden combo, but I think we have the personell that can take them on. We just need to execute.

    My predicition is a Bills win. 27 - 14

    Bills 2 - 0 Vs. New England!

Don't ask me how we beat NE, I have no frigging idea.. LOL

    Tim-

We Beat Rhe patriots same way other teams beat them.

DOWN Goes Brady, DOWN Goes Brady, DOWN Goes Brady, DOWN Goes Brady, DOWN Goes Brady, DOWN Goes Brady,

You Beat Him Up When he gets hit hard a couple time his thought process changes One he quits smiling two he gets fustrated three he makes mistakes DOWN Goes Brady,

  8. QB's shouldn't look like Rip Van Winkle. The guy looks like a total slouch. I predict that on Sunday he'll play like one too. If I'm proved wrong, -fantastic! CAN'T WAIT.

What does his looks have to do with how he may or may not play?

If you think he is not very good thats ok it's the way you feel.

To drop comments on a person on how they look only goes to show some things

    you figure them out!

I really dont care how he looks. I Care about his desire, heart an skill.

I've seen him throw some blocks an do other things that your top rated

players wouldn't even think of doing.

Last half of last year Fitz got better Hoping to see more this year.

  9. ...God, but they remind me of the '70's teams that were sooo bad for sooo long.

At least the red helmies represent our Super Bowl years and have a little glory behind them. Seen the roadies and now the "homeies". Negatory for me.

Sure did look good when Stevie was blasting through the end zone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I Like em'

  10. This fascination with drafting a QB is getting annoying. I haven't seen a single QB in this draft that is worth the hype being thrown at them. IMO, this years class is flat out mediocre. As if that wasn't enough, here's the thing I wish people would focus on: drafting a QB gets us absolutely nowhere this year. No rookie is going to come in and outperform Fitz this year or next. It's just not going to happen. For God sakes, get an impact defensive player that can help us stop the !@#$ing run. Our run defense is as porous as a freaking colander and we're drooling over QB's.

I agree with mike its common sense fix whats wrong an besides fitz has worked hard an earn the job. DEFENSE, DEFENSE,DEFENSE,DEFENSE,DEFENSE, Of course ther are going to draft that wide reciever everyones gushing about, then we all have something to bitcha about!!!!!

  11. If the Bills believe that BOTH Newton and Gabbert are the types of QB's that can be what everyone calls a "franchise" quarterback then there is a decent chance they will take whichever is first on their board and available at #3. If only one fits this mold and he gets picked at #1 or #2 then they will most likely go Dareus or Miller at #3. I believe Miller has the best odds of being the Bills pick since Dareus will most likely go to Denver.

I asked this in another post but what happens if Carolina shocks everyone and picks Miller and Denver picks Dareus or vice-versa? I believe this is the only scenario that raises the odds that we will take a QB at #3 since both will be there to take.

I also agree with some of the other posters on here that say Buffalo wants Ponder (or another QB) with their 2nd rd pick. If this is true then they will most likely go D at #3.

The Bills could also shock everyone and take a player nobody expected like they did last year.

It is all a roll of the dice.

There gonna pick ponder with the # 3 mark it dowm !!!
