We have a washed up QB, who hasn't been in a uniform for a year..............

We have a half baked OLine.............

    We have terrible WR's.................

Do you think Indy will be looking for Shady to run the ball this week ?

    Good Lord,................we stink.....................

Thank You I agree. But the plus is NO DEAD CAP MONEY NEXT YEAR AND A LOT OF ROOM TO ROAM SIGNING GOOD PLAYER  plus 10 draft picks maybe more  comimg. I would not be mad if they traded Shady or Kelvin Benjamin If they could get anything for KB

It seemed less about sucking and more about being uninspired. Can’t let something like that go - glad McD corrected it promptly.

People who will be not on the team next year Kevin B an most of then Receivers Charles Clay Shady McCoy . They will have Money to spend and I am guessing 12 picks in draft to move up to replace names mentioned above.

The NFL has a serious problem. I get they are all about player safety but some of these calls are just straight up ridiculous. They might as well eliminate sacking the QB all together. Put a flag on him or maybe a little pink skirt

gonna turn into a touch the qb or flag   omg can u imagine how aweful football would be then????

I was impressed by Mayfield, but Darnold was the savior 2 weeks ago, until other teams got regular season film on him and started game planning for him.  Based on what I have seen so far, Mayfield is the most game ready, followed by Darnold, followed by Allen.  As to physical abilities/raw talent, it would be Allen, followed by Darnold, followed by Mayfield.  Lamar Jackson looks like a great swiss-army knife type of player, but needs a lot of work to be a viable NFL QB.  He's incredible athletically.  We haven't seen anything from Rosen yet, but as putrid as the Cardinals' offense is, perhaps his time is coming soon.

But what happins in 2 weeks when they get film on mayfield??  does he follow Darnold to losing side???  Give them a season see what comes out in the end I would think you would get a better big picture. Just my thoughts

  5. I for one was pretty happy the LA Chargers only scored 3 points in second half. That defense come to life after getting run up an down the field 1st half. I can see why Mc D didn't start Allen in first game He has a lot to learn But did pretty darn well I think for he first game as a starter. He will be a good one as long as he don't get he tree rattled like trent edwards did

The long pass to Zay he almost dropped! He really is an awful receiver.

You don't think that pass was a little under thrown????

Watch other teams around the NFL. Watch them fight for and win 50-50 balls. Watch them catch a short slant and run it in for a TD. We don't get that, how long has it been since we did? Our receivers are awful and until that is fixed no QB will be serviceable. If a 50-50 ball is going to the defender every time then it makes anyone look bad.

i seen on replays a few times zay was open a lot so was clay  KB on other hand  he seems lost

  7. If Nate Petermen throws 5 Picks The should Fire head coach on the spot oh and the staff to. an sell the team. Keep in mind that the game he threw 5 picks in he had 0 reps with first team players an was going in cold against a top defense. .  Oh an Farve threw 5 Interceptions his first game to. Nate is not a Farve  by any measure but neither was Bret Farve at that point.  I think o line is this teams problems. and no I don't see 5 intercepts  I think Ravens will do there best to game plan for that but Mr McCoy and backups have a counter plan.

  8. Is there anyone left who thinks he can be The Guy after today's game?

If so, based on what evidence?

I think when he won the job he was ok not great but looked like he would get better with time. I have not seen anything this year excepts a few plays here or there , that warrents the contract he got. His passes seem off way off I am thinkin he won't be here next year

  9. Rex enters the scene and says "Get ready Buffalo, you're going to the Playoffs". Sounds good. Can anybody imagine being promoted to a high level position in a company and declaring within 7-8 months you will achieve something the company hasn't achieved in 15 years? Setting those expectations out of the gate, it just doesn't seem like a very mature talking point. What if you fail to reach this unlikely goal? What out do you have? We already know how this will play with Rex, just see the Jets Super Bowl guarantees . "I expect my team to _____ every year and I'm not afraid to say it". Ok Rex, sounds good. Thanks for the conditional statement after the emphatic declaration. Personally, I don't think I would do so well if I set my bosses expectations at the moon, barely got off the ground, and then conditioned it with "well, I like to aim high, my bad".

Then we hear this consistent phrase "Players coach". Players can say whatever they want, "I'm not going to put a muzzle on my players". Reports from last year had Jets players discussing Ryan not holding the team accountable. Multiple players backed these reports up. At the time the Bills fan base was still in Rex Ryan dreamland so we didn't even consider the possibility of those comments having merit. Say what you want, not holding people accountable.... In the corporate world that is what you call a friend boss. It's a guy that does more to be liked than he does to bring the best out of his team. In my career I have had one person who maximized my ability that I also liked, but I assure you that person did not care one bit if I in fact liked them, it was just a by product of the respect I had for them. It's a coaches/bosses job to bring accountability, leadership, and the best out of people. Do you think coaches saying anything, players saying anything, and your main leader behaving more like a player than a coach is a functional leadership model?

I think players coaches can be successful. Sometimes when people buy in emotionally it can lead to incredible things both in business and in football, but a line needs to be drawn. Dick Vermeil was a players coach, Pete Carroll is a players coach. They both didn't run micromanaged top down military style teams, but they both also represented a consistent image of what leadership is. The players they had bought in emotionally. The emotion they put out was real. Rex and his words, they just don't feel like they're sincere. It reminds me of a guy that wouldn't stop talking about how he loves Sabres hockey and wants to buy a snow plow 5 minutes after moving so he can fit in and make people feel like he is one of them. Oh ya, that's right, Rex also wants to be our friend.

What I know of Rex Ryan. He could be a great coordinator, he could be a great TV analyst, but he should not be in a leadership position. Grandiose expectations go undelivered, accountability problems, need to be liked by all, no ability to learn from mistakes in behavior, and a scheme he is married to more than the players who play in it. I feel as strongly about knowing Ryan is not NFL HC material as any HC we have had since the playoff drought. He has been living off his coordinator days with extreme talent and the two AFC Championship runs.

    that covers it !!!!!

  10. The next draft the Bills need to draft a QB early. EJ will NEVER be an NFL quarterback. I was rooting so hard for the guy to make it but I have to give up on him. Three years in the league and he hasn't improved one iota. He's as bad now as he was on his first day in the league. The guy has all the physical tools but he just does NOT have it upstairs. No brains. This guy is dumber than a box of rocks. :wallbash::thumbdown::thumbdown:

I agree was so disapointed I wanted so bad for him to do well.

  11. Is Tyrod that bad of a QB? What 5 QB's in the AFC are playing remarkably better before the injury?

    Brady, Dalton, Rivers?

I still have faith in Rex. His defenses were never the issue in NY. I would have fallen over at the start of the season if you told me the D would be our issue right now.

NY Jets 4-3 Hmmmmmmm This defence is a pale shawdow of what it was last year. Didn't we shut down some pretty good QB's ? I don't like what They have done to this team it sucks we have such good players (mostly)

  12. Andy Dalton completed 22 of 33 passes for 243 yards and three touchdowns. He wasn’t sacked. The only time he was hit was on a blitz by safety Duke Williams. Now do you think with last years 4-3 he would have had the time to do this?

The team lacks a true star on defense this season. Dareus has regressed. Kyle is on the other side of the hill. Mario isn't worth anywhere near 100 mm. Hughes penalties offset any positives. The secondary and linebackers are very NFL average at best.

Something was bound to give, and in the aftermath of an embarrassing performance against the Cincinnati Bengals, it finally happened. Members of the Buffalo Bills’ defensive line weren’t talking about still learning and adjusting to a new scheme anymore. They flat out identified it as the reason they no longer have the pass-rushing prowess of a year ago.

  13. I have to disagree a bit with you. While I'm not as sold on Tyrod as others on here, I do think he can show nice touch on some of his balls, and honestly, I think that when he finally does throw it, he throws it as decisively as I could hope for. Maybe because he's newly annointed to the starting QB position, he has yet to really become a vocal, take-charge type leader just yet, but perhaps that will happen with time.

I do agree that late in the 4th quarter, I did not see any real urgency in getting back to the LOS, especially when good clock management was absolutely vital, but I don't know if I'd pin that on Tyrod as much as the coaching staff...

While I didn't think he was impressive today, I don't think that too much blame can be pinned on him for today's loss. I still have hope he's our guy of the future...

How about revcievers catching them passes I know a couple were off target most were good enough that they should have caught them. oline stunk it up good at times smh
