  1. Not sure how to post a photograph or I would.  I've been off the site for a while due to the illness and unfortunate death of my wife in August, 2017.

My ride is a 1978 Ironhead.  It's white with whitewall tires on red wheels and loud would just be a huge understatement.

  2. I could care less. The games that they needed to win, they have already lost. Wouldn't make a difference to me one way or another if they win or lose. Lifelong fan, since that first team in 1960. Used to be passionate about winning and losing, now I just watch the games and hope for the best. If they win, great, if they don't no big whoop, it ain't like the first time they've lost lately.

Truer words were never spoken soldier. Thank You for the post old timer. I joined the fray in 1974.

Looking back - now I know what my mother meant when she said; "Come and get your medicine" !

  3. Garoppolo will take at least a first to get, and I think I would do it. This is not Cassel or Hoyer, they both came in as late round picks and marginal talent(anyway nobody ever gave up much for Hoyer). Jimmy G, put up big numbers in college. I also remember Mayock saying he had the quickest release he ever saw, supremely accurate in short and intermediate passing game, good leadership, and great work habits. If I deemed it important enough to use a first round pick on a QB, I would rather use it on him this year instead of one of the college QBs, as he has had a couple of years to develop behind an all time great. I would be hoping to give up only 2 second round picks, but I would go as high as a first. The hardest part of that trade would be giving the cheatriots a first round pick to use, but I would not think I was wasting my pick. I would rather him over Romo, or Cutler as well. One is fragile, and the other never was. I am not saying he would be a slam dunk pro bowler, but if you say to yourself you have to fix the QB position(which I think you should say every year until you get it right) then I think he is the best option this year.

Good post Rev; I will not fault the organization one bit if they at least try and go out and get this guy. If they get out bid for Grap's services, at least they threw their hat in the ring. Grap could be better than all three Qb's currently on our roster,

But they are never going to find playing naked twister at One Bills Drive, all night.

  4. Don't blame him for that, even though I don't think he's "the guy" I don't question this man's work ethic, effort, and commitment to the game. Dealing with the media should be the last thing he needs to worry about right now.

I agree with the first part of your sentence, but not the last part. As a starting QB for 1 of only 32 franchises in the world, I think it is his job to deal with the media. He is well paid to play a game, win or lose. And in his game performance, he is either part of the problem or part of the solution, whether he likes it or not.

Most athletes when called upon to describe their shortcomings will grow a set of nuts and critique themselves in front of the media and their fans. A lot of these same athletes will acknowledge their poor performance and they usually vow to not let it happen again and you know they are sincere and serious competitors when they use the words; "The next time". Those particular athletes are sometimes referred to, as heroes, both here in this country and abroad. But not: It's not my fault Mr. Taylor.

  5. As a coach, or a promoter of a sport; It is your job as the coach, or the promoter to get inside the heads of the competitors that you are about to compete against. Bill Bellichek does it quietly. I can accept that. Rex Ryan and is his alter ego do it with a little more grand standing. And I can accept that as well. Bulletin board material or not, at least he's saying something, instead of just kissing everybody's ass.

  6. There is a Whaley interview from 2013 on "The Official Site of the Buffalo Bills" where he is actually gushing with man love as he is trying to sell Manuel to an unknown group of suits in a meeting room at the Bills stadium. His exact words were "He's got that IT factor" If Whaley didn't draft Manuel then why was he trying to sell him so hard ?

Well 26 He forgot the S on the front and the T on the back of that IT Factor. That interview was a sickening. and I didn't watch the rest of it either. And maybe because I'm angry at the world.

And if I could predict the dam powerball numbers, I'd be f'ing doing it. My wife is ten years younger than me. is terminally ill and her bucket list is financially out of reach. Any other questions?

Again; Good night all. I have a real job to go to in the morning. Lou

  7. 2 to 1 what?

    Good Evening Goat;

2 to 1 is the score for the armchair GM sweepstakes, between myself and Doug Whaley.

And of course, Doug Whaley is losing. He probably doesn't know he's playing either.

As the GM of the Bills, Doug Whaley in my opinion has drafted two busts at the QB position.

and one of them has already come to fruition, as predicted. Second one in my opinion is Jones.

It's unfortunate to! Because I do like the guy.

    My daughter went to Ohio State. And for the record;

I truly hated Trent Edwards & Rob Johnson more than any other Buffalo QB's to date.

Remember folks, opinions are like our backsides. We all have one!

As GM of the Bills, LOU without college scouting has drafted one bust at the QB position apparently.

And his name is Lynch. As the armchair GM of the Bills I would of taken him at 19. And time will tell.

Unlike Whaley. If LOU was the GM, and I made a mistake in the 2013 draft, I would of admitted it

to the fans and the media and then moved on. Of course I would of never drafted Manuel, Edwards,

or Johnson, but that's another story.

Man! It's tough being a Bills fan. 42 years and counting, I think!

    Good night all.

  8. That as may be spending another first rounder on one only compounds matters.

I agree Gunner, Unfortunately my take on late round and prom ready QB's

is comparable to pissing on a forest fire. Stupid does, as stupid sees.

Greg Romans honest opinion of Lynch would settle this QB debate for me.

The feeling is however, we will probably never get to hear Mr. Romans honest opinion.

  9.

How many successful QBs has John Elway drafted?

At the very least; It would appear that John Elway is willing to take a chance on drafting a franchise QB. Successful or not.

Unlike Whaley, who in my opinion is swinging for the fences with a wiffle bat. This team will go nowhere without taking a chance

on filling the most important position on the field. And until Whaley grows a set this team will watch the play-offs where we do

every year. And that is from their F'ing sofa.

  10. Why/How is Paxton Lynch so much better than Cardale Jones? Or Kevin Hogan even? Both has excelled in their collegiate careers against better talent. Why is Lynch's upside better than the aforementioned?

    Sky;

With different leaders, come different leadership qualities. (I'm sorry Sky; But as a fellow fan, I will leave the rest alone)

    'Lou'

  11. If Paxton Lynch is there at 19, I take him, not to play in 2016-17 but to work with David Lee on drops and reads.

If you say we can't neglect the DL talent in this draft, I fully agree.

The latest DraftTek draft shows that very scenario.

The Bills get Lynch, Floyd, then ==>

    I agree TSW.

You do whatever it takes to 'get this guy'

If Whaley screws this up he is truly stupid.

And you can't fix stupid !

  12. Step 1. At the next press conference, Russ Brandon will step to the podium and announce that the name for the Bills mascot has been changed to 'Buffalo Biff' because we need another bully.

Step 2. Russ will introduce Buffalo Biff at the press conference and invite him to the podium to say a few words.

Step 3. Buffalo Biff approaches the microphone, taps it, then asks "Is this thing on" After the media and some kool-aid drinking fans stop laughing, he announces: "Act like a tree, and get outta here"

Step 4. Russ will then explain that he truly is, his other self and that Coach Ryan is really Doc. Brown and their new plan is to take this team back to the future; So everybody, just hop on and we'll all enjoy the ride.

Russ will call It, the new step - up program.
