who said the deal was dead I have not seen anything saying that yet

How are we supposed to hate the Packers when they do something like that?
I think the Pack as a hole make it hard to hate them they did a story a few weeks ago about how Packer players go out after practice and ride kids around on their bikes and the kids get to pic who they want to ride with.

Anybody that thinks Meredith is any better then Green obviously didn't watch him getting destroyed the couple plays he replaced Bell against Miami.
I am glad I was not the only person that saw that. Meredith was getting handled out there and people want him to start NO WAY he was getting blown off the line so bad it was scary to watch.

If he plays for the Pats I am for first person hoping he gets chopped blocked and can't walk for years. I have no love for people that say and do different things let him learn to walk again and see how he feeling about playing for the Pats

Did anyone alert security that there was a black man on the track? It is NASKKKAR after all... weird...
Then I guess the fact that Darius Rucker was there playing country music before the race must really blow your mind.

They are necessary. Sports teams are not a necessity, just entertainment.
The team might not be a necessity but I would hate to see what happens to taxes when they lose all the extra tax money that each stadium brings in and don't forget about that pay check that every player gets is taxed by the state how much money would a state lose if they let a sports team leave?

It's not really stupid, unless you play with unnecessary recklessness. I mean, flag football isn't meant to be a contact sport, so how is it any different from other cross-training activities like running, lifting or basketball that players are encouraged to do in the offseason?
It might not be meant to be a contact sport but I have played in many flag football leagues where there is a ton of contact I used to play in 1 that had a rule that if you lower your head its free game to tackle there were many college and ex pros in that league.
I like to see that hes playing all season like that shows that he has a love for the game unlike many other people that just seem to want that check

We couldn't do better than Hard Rock Cafe at the falls??
Where else would you guys take the rooks to introduce them to our community and to show them the sights?
I was kinda shocked to see they did not go to Dave & Busters

A friend of mine did this for Tampa last year. It is more real than people would believe.
You can not come in here and claim that your friend played last year with out posting pics

is taking 2nd team snaps…behind 6th round pick Danny Batten and undrafted free agent Antonio Coleman.
Many people here are hopeful and/or predicting that Maybin will experience instant success as a rush linebacker in our new 3-4 scheme.
He was our first round draft pick last year.
Snide "bust" comments notwithstanding, isn't this more than a bit alarming that Maybin is taking snaps behind a 6th round draft pick and an undrafted free agent?!?!?
Maybe they're trying to light a fire under his ass. Either that or they think more highly of the other two players. There's not too many possible explanations out there.
You might want to go watch the videos from the first 2 days of camp I saw Maybin out there with the first team players.

Do roids make guys injury prone? Cushing had a lot of injuries in college. Well this should quiet down some of the "we should have taken Cushing" crowd.
I would not really say injure prone but you do grow stupid muscle with out the bone structure to back that up.

2007 New England Patriots Draft Selections Round Overall Player Position College
1[47] 24 Brandon Meriweather Safety Miami (FL) ---- Good B+
4 127 Kareem Brown Defensive end Miami (FL) ---- Terrible F
5 171 Clint Oldenburg Offensive tackle Colorado State ----- Who the F*%#?? -- F
6[48] 180 Justin Rogers Linebacker SMU --- F
6 202 Mike Richardson Cornerback Notre Dame --- F
6 208 Justise Hairston Running back Central Connecticut State --- Central Connecticut State?? They have a FB team? -- F
6 209 Corey Hilliard Offensive guard Oklahoma State -- F
7[49] 211 Oscar Lua Linebacker USC -- F
7 247 Mike Elgin Center Iowa -- F
You think our 2007 draft was bad.. look at the Patriots
Yeah but you need to remember who they traded for in that draft and I would change that. They got both Moss and Welker with trades while taking some of the scrubs on that list.

I for one am thrilled at this draft. Spiller was by no means the consensus pick at 9 but I think he will prove to be a game changer.
1) Drafted two OT without reaching for someone with a high pick
2) got the QB some may have believed was the primary target of Nix and Co
3) a DT to man the middle with Kyle Williams,
4) a WR that should push Hardy/Stevie/Jackson
5) more pieces for our 3-4 swtich
I give him an A even thou there is only 1 big name player I think he drafted what we really needed and after looking for info on the players he got I think he did a good job
-
i still like TJ...i wish it was just Berman, TJ and Mel doing the draft
No get Mel off the screen the only thing I enjoyed about him was when the Broncos took Tebow I though he was going to explode right there. Gruden was pretty good on that Clausen call like how he called Mel Clausen's agent

People need to stop basing their idea of where a guy should be drafted based on ESPN..
..or think it matters what round a guy is drafted in..
..if a player can play then he can play...
..it would be nice to have players that can play instead of drafting for Madden like 90% of the fans on this board want to do
+1 Kiper is in love with JC and everyone is passing on him it should tell everyone on this board how good Kiper is at rating people he sucks is one of the worst and JC will be the same he sucks and should not even go till the 3-4 round
-
Meanwhile the most pro ready QB is sittin there pissed off, ready to be plucked at the top of rd 2, i hope we get clausen, he's gonna play with the biggest chip on his shoulder, thats the real franchise qb in this draft. Tebow is all Hype
Must not be that ready to play in the pros or he would have been drafted in the 1st. All the computer scouts don't really know whats going on.

Even if I hear "the Buffalo Bills select, from Notre Dame, Jim..." I don't think I'll do that. Turn channels, yes, but not a full beer.
At least you get to turn the channel I have a bet with some friends that if we draft Mr.LittleHands I have to become a Lions fan and buy at least 2 jersey's

for what it's worth, a very good read...

I've already come around to having Clausen in Buffalo, and this makes me feel even better about it. Even tho he still has a weird shaped head!
It's not the weird shaped head that should bother you but the little hands just think of that BK commercial where the guy can't hold the double cheese burger and that's Clausen with the football when it starts to get cold.

Didn't Trent McCheckdown rock the Wonderlic? I mean, I'm brilliant in 37 ways but I wouldnt know a football playbook from a nuclear panerplant.
I think that would be Fits who got a 48 on his test in only 5mins.
-
Haha, he will crush that pick if the Bills take Tebow. All I know is if the Bills take Tebow at #9, more than just Matt Williamson will "crush" that pick. Can you imagine the reactions on TBD.
I would way rather take Tebow at 9 then that JC kid that will be a flop who cares if it is a reach or not if you think someone else might grab him before you do then get him early don't sit and hope that he is still there

There was plenty evidence of misconduct. Witnesses saw him buying shots, the woman was, as a result, extremely intoxicated. The bodygaurd admits bringing her to the bathroom. There was sexual contact with a woman. The DA found that there was not enough evidence to warrant confidence that a jury would find him guilty "beyond a reasonable doubt". Certainly there was some reprehensible conduct.
Even by white guy standards and forgetting the pacman incident a suspension is warranted.
I am pretty sure that in NY Ben would be in court just for giving a minor Alcohol. So there would be your first reason to kick him for a few games. The next would be the fact that this girl went to the hospital and was ready to press charges until it was a huge media show then she didn't want to get her family involved in it so she dropped the charges. That would be reason #2 kick Ben to the curb for a few games and see if he is smart enough to start to make a better choice in life or not.

Ha ha ha ha. Funny stuff. If that's your proof, then you're dead wrong.
He has only played Navy twice in his career, in 2008 and 2009 and he has no official record, because players don't have official win-lost records. You may possibly have noticed that teams have 22 people as their defensive and offensive starters and many more play each game, so this makes complete sense. However, with Clausen at QB, Notre Dame is 1 - 1 against Navy. He didn't play against Navy in 2007. Thanks for playing. Next.
Ok so then he is 1-1 the win was at Navy and the lose was at the Golden Dome and by 2 points. If he was a great QB ND would have scored a lot more then 21 points against a team that has no one going to play in the NFL.
-
Clausen threw the deep ball great with torn ligaments and a broken foot, he can play in the buffalo weather.
Why do people keep saying this? When did he prove he can play in Jan when college football ends late Nov?
He has small hands which will hurt him when its cold snowing or raining he needs to go somewhere that is a warm weather team not anywhere in the east.
But I will tell you now he is a flop and the proof is the fact he lost 2 times to Navy.
Andrew Luck is too smart

Hold on with the sure thing I remember 2 other QB's that the same thing was said about 1 is 3rd string in Denver the other is going to get his first start this week. Some of these QB's have coaches that are good enough to make that QB look like the second coming when its all in the playbook. We need to wait till the end of the college year before we say there is a sure thing and then wait till pro days or the combine is done other wise its just a who has a man crush on who right now.
