  1. I'm fairly certain that the franchise tags will hold up, at least until the new CBA is agreed upon. If the new CBA has franchise tags then they keep them, if they don't then they don't.

At this moment in time the franchise tag means nothing until the new CBA is signed and that came from the players union the tag would mean that that player makes a certain amount which was in the CBA but with out it how do you say who makes what

  2. she's legal, and he is single and only 24 at the time. whats the big deal?

    This.

Why is everyone jumping on him you did not take some girl in the bathroom and have his cop friends protect him. In the story it even says that he told her he would wait till she was 18 she told him 17 was ok so wouldn't that be on her now not him?

  3. So your 17 year old daughter is in NYC nightclubs till all hours on New Year's Eve, then hooking up and spending the night in NJ at some guy's house? Boy, that's some rock solid parenting going on there in Greenwich!

Come on your in CT her dad is some Millionaire that probably does not even realize that she is out of the house till she called and told them there was a snow storm

CAN YOU SAY SPOILED ROTTEN GOLD DIGGER ??????

Wow are you really calling Sanchez a gold digger?

Just so you know her Dad is way richer then Sanchez will ever be he got a 48 million bonus in 2000 is now a partner of the Five Mile Capital Partners firm

  4. "But officer! She told me she was 18!"

    - T. Henry

    Dirty Sanchez, indeed.

She didn't need to be 18. 17 is legal in NY,NJ, & CT plus I don't really see whats so bad he is only 5 years older then her which is not that bad in age difference

  5. an NFL O-lineman can curl 237. He really needs some more strength to battle NFL Tackles all game long.

SAM is probably not a realistic position for Miller, but that doesn't mean he is not a good talent.

Where can I get a video of someone curling 237 that is a lot of weight when most guys can only bench maybe 50lbs more.

If we draft Miller and let him play along with Merriman with Moats spelling Merriman I think our OLB would be stacked. Miller has good cover skills and can play the run with Merriman and Moats being the rushing backers all we would need then would be 2 good ILB and are D would be good again

    10. A Fair catch kick Fair Catch Kick via wikipedia

    * Dallas Cowboys vs. Atlanta Falcons, September 20, 1999.[33]

Wane McGarity fair caught a punt on the Atlanta 47 with no time left in the first half. Dallas coach Chan Gailey knew of the rule, and had specifically instructed McGarity to fair catch the punt if it was inside the 50, but Gailey forgot that he would be able to attempt the kick with no time left on the clock. Instead, the Cowboys went to the locker room.

Poor Chan maybe he will remember it if we ever make the big game

  7. Yes, dear. That didn't answer my question (actually I thought Gaither's back injury led to the OL shuffle, but that doesn't answer my question either).

I'm equal opportunity, I'll ask you too: what RT who will be FA** do you like?

**(I was going to ask, what FA RT do you like, but I thought it was unreasonable to ask anyone not to be distracted by that, er, opening)

If I had to look at a FA RT I would go after Colon from Pit who was out all year or maybe Bushrod who did not do that well this year at LT but I would be happy either drafting or maybe getting 1 of our 50 guards to play the position

  8. Draftek has Troupe graded as a B. I think he might be a solid player but is just not big enough for Nose, he's just 315 which should be the size of our ends. Was really hoping we would draft Rob Gronkowski instead and unfortunately for us he turned out great for Cheatriots.

    http://www.drafttek.com/rookieretror2.asp

After look more and more at this site I am starting to question it a C grade for a player that tripped down the stairs and might never play in the NFL and a C grade for our first round RB that had a better average then most the other RB they gave A too

  9. D+ would be more like it. First RB off the board and he wasn't even in the top 5 of rookie RBs (yds from scrimmage). Being outperformed by Jahvid Best, Toby Gerhart, Cory Ivory, Ryan Mathews, Lagarette Blount, that's just embarassing. 21 million guaranteed?

Way to earn that money Spiller !!

Here let me help you out

    CJ Spiller 74 283 3.8

    Jahvid Best 171 555 3.2

    Ryan Mathews 158 678 4.3

    Toby Gerhart 81 322 4.0

Lagarett Blount 201 1007 5.0 and he was undrafted

So besides Blount NO ONE did much better then Spiller they all received more touches and were the feature back of the O besides Gerhart.

  10. 237 & 240 lbs isn't getting bigger at LB as Nix has indicated he wants the team to become

Jones is already bigger then Poz and with sometime and his frame I would bet he will only get stronger. And Miller was not a 1 year wonder like Maybin and at 237 he is only 13 pounds lighter then Maybin I would bet that both will grow bigger after draft day when they are not worried about 40 times and trying to keep weight off for the scouts

  11. If the Bears were that good, then how come they only beat the Bills by 3 points this year?

You need to look at the team they had which was very good and then look at the schedule they played this year

    DET 14 @ CHI 19

    CHI 27 @ DAL 20

    GB 17 @ CHI 20

    CHI 3 @ NYG 17

    CHI 23 @ CAR 6

    SEA 23 @ CHI 20

    WAS 17 @ CHI 14

    CHI 22 @ BUF 19

    MIN 13 @ CHI 27

    CHI 16 @ MIA 0

    PHI 26 @ CHI 31

    CHI 24 @ DET 20

    NE 36 @ CHI 7

    CHI 40 @ MIN 14

    NYJ 34 @ CHI 38

    CHI 3 @ GB 10

They had a much easier schedule then we had this year

  12. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Here-s-proof-that-Tom-Brady-taunted-the-Jets-No?urn=nfl-307058

Ryan and Cromartie are right, Brady did it and he's an a$$. You wouldn't see a Manning, Brees or Big Ben acting like that.

Pointing to the score board or pointing to the other team after you score is not a way of taunting first the Jesters taunted the Patty's all week long before that game and Brady and the Patty's took it to the Jesters that game so Tom did what everyone else would do and point to remind the Jesters they are getting whipped its done in every sport most people just don't realize how much it gets done

  13. Why would we want to move the Safeties closer to the line of scrimmage? The point of the Safety is to be the last man deepest in the backfield, or the "Safety" valve.

The goal, regarding Safeties, should be to shore up the front 7 so they have more freedom to roam and help in coverage and make more INTs. We need to stop relying on Safeties for run support. That is partly why Byrd has disappeared, and Whitner gets beat in coverage. Theyre too busy keeping an eye on the run.

The reason to move the safety up is to help with the run I see them keeping Poz around and not really getting a good second ILB so you bring up the safety like how Pitt does with TP. If you have shutdown corners you don't need a deep valve the corners can cover the WR without help which neither of our current corners are able to do right now

  14. Patrick Peterson is being touted as a potential safety as well.

I have yet to hear that all I hear about him is he can be the next Charles Woodson or Nnamdi Asomugha in that case I would love to have him here we would have a corner better then that Jest corner and would be able to use our safety more towards the LOS

  15. Did everyone completely forget how many games this guy hast cost the bills because he can't cover a single tight end? The defense has picked up against mostly mediocre teams. Once he is gone this team will immediately get better.

I would guess after reading this comment that you have not really watched the Bills games The LB (Poz,Kelsey) covers the TE the SS will be there for help only there are only a few times that a Safety will cover a TE and that would be on a Blitz. Whitner has shown over the years he can do a good job in coverage he was part of the nickle for years and covered pretty good at them times.
