  1. I would start him when:

    1) he has a firm grasp of the system

    2) he can diagnose the defenses

    3) we have a capable offensive line

#3 is really important because rookies can be ruined by bad O lines. I also think, despite the bravado, their confidence is shaky. So you don't want to throw them in too quickly, make mistake after mistake, then regress.

  2. I have always said it has no place at sporting events. Never understood why it was played anyway except for things like the Olympics where it is people representing countries competing.

This. It wasn't always this way. In recent years, the military paid for these "support the troops" gestures (which the NFL may have given back some or all of the money).

I think the anthem is totally overused which diminishes its impact. When was the last time you heard the anthem amd git chills?

  3. Ok... I'm shocked. All eyes on the future I guess. I'm not sure I get why they kept TT then. Why sign Anquan to a 1yr deal? Just tank. All of this talk about not surrendering the season is just that, talk. The team is much less likely to make any sort of push this year. If your plan is to really start it next year, then get the first pick in each round.

I wonder how Kyle Williams feels about coming back now. They're going nowhere this year.

  4. I'm optimistic about the franchise. I think all of the moves they have made were sensible. That said I foresee growing pains. We won't be in the playoffs next year, but I don't believe McD is the tank it all type of guy. Will people be able to wait 3 or more years? Given the posts on here, I doubt it.

  5. The week we beat the Patriots (for the first time in a decade?) after being down 18 , having just overcome an 18 pt deficit to the Raiders a week prior. Where Fred Jackson being called down at the like 2 was actually better than him having made his run all the way through for a score. The review marked him down and allowed us to run 3 to 4 plays and eat up the clock rather than give Brady 90 seconds to break our hearts. Nothing, NOTHING, was more satisfying than watching Belichek sit on the sidelines helpless, telling his players to basically let us score so Brady could get the ball back with more time.

That was my favorite as well

  6. I'm not convinced. We don't even know if Beane and McDerm like or talk to each other. You might be able to assume that by us interviewing him but who knows.

I'll just say that I doubt they're interviewing anyone without McD's OK. All of the news points to him calling the shots.

  7. When it comes to the QBs on the AFCE, it's basically Brady then everyone else.

How did he compare to the rest of the QBs league wide?

He ranks 10th in the league

Taylor ended the 2016 regular season with the 10th-best overall grade among all QBs, at 84.7. Thats higher than Alex Smith, Ben Roethlisberger, Jameis Winston, Andy Dalton andhere is the big oneDak Prescott. Last year, Taylor was seventh (88.3).

  8. I see that shirt differently then most. Not a slam on OJ but a slam on police. The picture is just the opposite of the day OJ was chased in the multiple cop cars (evil white cops) chasing the one white bronco (innocent black man). I think the shirt was a poor play on BLM.

Yeah I noticed that too. I wouldn't have chosen it for live TV.
