Yeah, OP is not correct. I live in Utah and watched Cole at U of U and he is an extremely willing, aggressive, and downhill tackler. Not an ounce of hesitation in the guy.

To be fair I remember Rivals had Clowney as the single highest rated player in his high school class across all positions. He wasn't quite like McDavid in hockey levels of hype coming out of high school, but Clowney was definitely one of the more highly regarded high school football players I can ever remember going into college.

Wasn't sad to see him go because we knew he'd get massively overpaid by some dumb team. Turns out the Jags were that dumb team. When he signed that $13m/year deal with the Jags I'd have taken him back with the Bills for closer to $3-$4m/year. He's a great blocker and I have no ill will towards the guy for being massively overpaid (I'd sign that deal too!) so I'd be alright with signing him for cheap here and seeing if he can help.

Free safety is the biggest need now. Damar backed up by Darrick Forrest. We can go for value over need now - I'm pretty happy with the combo of value and need so far. But looking at the roster imo free safety is clearly weakest.

I enjoy the insight in Beane's press conferences every night but he needs to pull a Belichick and stfu a bit. He's spending 30 minutes telegraphing exactly how Buffalo sees these guys and plans to use them, so much so that I'd be able to telegraph a little bit if I were an opponent based on the details he's giving

Shedeur if Deion didn't exist I think goes 2nd-4th round. Coaches and GMs are probably correctly seeing Deion as a massive headache though and avoiding the whole package.

I saw Ezeiruaku mocked to us a couple times this morning and looked him up and saw a 247lb DE and I was scared because the last DE I saw come out in the 240s to the Bills was Aaron Maybin. Love the Max Hairston pick, hope the board falls right for us to get some help at DL and DE

Offense is not the problem. It's just not. I don't want to hear about an offensive player for the Bills until round 4 at the earliest.

I would prefer no WR or other offensive players for the first 3-4 picks. Defense only with the high value picks.

2018 when the Rams rolled Todd Gurley who got injured, Malcolm Brown who got injured, John Kelly who got injured, and signed CJ Anderson off his sofa who came in and played awesome convinced me the value of running backs maybe isn't so high above replacement. I feel like the list of RBs who've done well after big contracts is basically Saquon and Adrian Peterson maybe and that's it. Though I'm sure I'm forgetting some.
Cook is a good player, but I just don't think at the RB position one player has enough added value over their backup to be worth a lot of the team's salary cap.
