  1. When you play a rookie QB, we should have blitzed the hell out of him. Andy Dalton is not Tom Brady. So sick of watching opposing teams offense dictate to our D every single play. It's like we have no plan at all. So predictable too. Rush 4, drop 7, let them gain 5 yards or more. Its time to run some plays where our D does the dictating to offenses and forces them into mistakes. This is just like Jauron bend but dont break. There is no creativity. And why the hell does Merriman have his hand on the ground every single snap. He is a stand up edge rusher. Put him on the same side as Dareus and opposing teams will really have to account for that side. Put players in the position where they will succeed the most George. That is your job.

There better be some sort of D game plan next week to get PRESSURE on Vick, or we lose. We all know he doesn't like to get hit, JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER QB IN THE LEAGUE. LET THE DOGS OUT!

  2. With Roscoe out, I'd like to see CJ used a lot in 4/5 WR sets. Put him in motion, do some reverses, fake reverses, and WR screens with him. I think he'll be better and more effective then Roscoe ever was. I'm thinking he could be the X factor this week against NE. BILLS!

  3. +1 for Buddy. -4 overall however

1)Drafting a luxury RB when we had two

2)Not trading a RB out of our clusterd backfield during the offseason, creating a mess for the first 4-5 games last year

3)Giving Kelsay big money because I'm sure other teams were lining up to pay him due to his excellent production, and delcicious peach cobbler pies

4)Trading Lee for a 4th, players question if this team wants to win now

5)Not addressing the O-line, our biggest hole for the last 10 years

All the LB signings look good on paper, but we will see what this season brings us.

  4. The front 7 just got a lot better with this guy. Im guessing/hoping this signing will remove Kelsay from starting. But then again how do you justify having a $6mil back up, or role player I should say. He has the best work ethic, but with below average skills, and makes a hell of a peach cobbler. I mean was there really other teams lining up ready to offer big money to him. I'm not one to live in the past but FO is on thin ice with many poor decisions made, starting with their gamebreaker RB. Never draft RBs in the first round. It was a luxury we are not able to afford and once again sets us back. Simple needs vs. wants. Go Kirk! Live up to that #58

  5. They both deserve a lot of credit. Finally something to be excited about with this team. I really hope it continues. Chemistry is so important. The QB and coach need to be on the same page every single play. Look at Favre and Chili now. Virtually imploding. Kurt Warner developed into an all-star under Mike Martz, after bagging groceries and arena league football and then wins a super bowl. Crazier things have happened. Rich Gannon was drafted in 1987, 4th round by the Pats. Read his story, its very interesting. Gannon excelled under Gruden during '99-'01 and had a very productive 5 seasons under Gruden's offense, which was also used by Bill Callahan after Gruden left for Tampa. LETS GO CHAN AND FITZ! KEEP IT ROLLIN

  6. The offense is finally clicking when the defense can't even be mentioned. There is SERIOUS CHEMISTRY happening with Gailey, Fitz, the O Line, all the WRs and Fred Jackson. Fitz has everyones' respect on the team and is developing into a leader by example. That is much more important then it sounds. This is his 6th year in the league with little to no help. All with bad teams(St. Louis, Cincinatti). If our offense remains this productive for the rest of the season, i would like to draft DL or LB

  7. Kelsay is a DE. Stroud is a DT. Our coaches are idiots. Common sense says to put players in positions where they can have the most impact and feel comfortable playing there. Kelsay can't cover, Stroud can't set the edge. On a positive note, the 4-3 suits us much better, as we DO NOT have many 3-4 players. Edwards and Davis are the only players with experience of the front 7. Its just ridiculous out there.
