  1. Im not condoning the actions of the psycho who did this...look at my first post on the matter. I was just saying that players are not in any more danger than those not in the public spotlight. Sadly, this is what has happened to athletes/entertainers and it doesnt look it will be stopping anytime soon. It is something that goes with the job even though it shouldnt.
  2. Steely, while I do feel for the player this happened to, I would like you to name a player besides Sean Taylor who was murdered in a burglary attempt over the past 20 years. As far as I can recall Sean Taylor is the only one on the list...I may be wrong however. Now on the other hand, take a look at the number of homicides due to burglary in the East Side of Buffalo...those people have to worry. I lived on Bailey for over a year and was robbed twice, whereas many of these players live in upscale, low crime neighborhoods, and are in no more danger than the average citizen.
  3. While I agree that the act is disgusting, one person doesn't represent the entire Bill's fan base. With presumably over a million Bills fans in WNY, the action of this one psycho is a freak occurence and nothing more. If the players assume that one person's actions speak for Bills fans everywhere then they need to come back to reality. For a true representation of Buffalo Bills fans look to those who welcomed Scott Norwood back with open arms at City Hall or the fans who gave the 07 Bills a standing ovation after the Monday night loss to Dallas. Hopefully these are the Bills fans that will be in attendance on Sunday, cheering on Leodis before he takes the opening kick to the house.
  4. Were pretty solid at DE with Ellis and Denney as the backups; however, the linebackers are a different story. Athletically, all of them can play...but this group has no experience and will make their fair share of mental mistakes. However, I really don't see the point in bringing in someone like D. Brooks because all it's going to do is take away from their development. The Bills could be a fringe team this year...but looking to the future, this team could make a deep playoff run. We could definitely use a playmaker at OLB, but it's something that should be addressed in the offseason.
  5. To everyone flipping out at McKelvin/Jauron/April for taking it out of the endzone...WAKE UP!! You could clearly tell that he didnt know whether or not he had fielded the ball behind the goal line or not. Hence why it took him a good 2 seconds to take off from the goal line. If you want to argue the fact that he just didnt get down...thats a different story.
  6. The Bills D deserves as much blame as McKelvin...the Pats moved the ball up and down the field at will. Our D was lucky they didnt finish drives our the game would of been a blowout.
  7. terrible clock management.....nothing new
  8. McKelvin has been doing this since the damn preseason...put McGee back there or Jackson when Lynch gets back.
  9. New England has been driving down the field all night...they just havent finished drives.
  10. Our O-Line has looked very good tonight. Nice game planning by AVP. This could be a very interesting season if our O can stop shooting themselves in the foot and our D plays solid.
  11. Even though I hate the Pats we got lucky on the 2 unsporstmanlike conduct penalties
  12. Sometimes the obvious call is the best call
  13. Parrish didnt even fight for the ball on that
  14. Need a big drive by our O here. If the Bills come out conservative they are just begging to let the Pats take the game.
  15. Especially with the way the Pats have been moving the ball.
  16. Did anyone notice if Poz started the game with that pad on his forearm?
  17. Is that sarcasm...because i've seen it called on OTs more then receivers.
  18. Parrish was looking like a chicken with his head cut off on that
