You can make the playoffs but can't win the Super Bowl with a run first or smashmouth offense. Oh, I thought this was a thread about the non-stop political posturing on the pregame. Would have thought that without a preseason there would be plenty of actual football related information to relate and discuss, but nope, we have to learn more about the political positions of the players. Nobody's had enough of that horseshit for the last 5 months, what a great show, lots of new and entertaining information. thanks CBS and NFL.

Blaming the CB's for last night is wrong. The lack of pressure on Fitz was incredible. He was taking deep drops on almost every play, giving his receivers time to make multiple moves and get open. There's coverage sacks, and there's protection completions, which is what we saw last night. In a scheme that's not playing safety help that is completely unacceptable and the lack of adjustments when it clearly wasn't working should have resulted in some defensive staff firings, if not executions.
