I still see the drop on the bomb vs KC. That killed his role as #1 for this team....That changed the game. Good teams get rid of players just before the decline.
So the Bills aren't a good team?

Star Lotuleileileilei says hi
I was downstairs at the Chophouse after a game with friends. Star was there with his family and Frazier upstairs. They came down to leave and Star has about six kids, all a head shorter than the last, and all with his jersey but sized to fit them, with their last name on it. It was quite cute 😊

Olive Garden doesn't build their restaurants with public funds.
Every business uses public funds: roads we pay for to get to them, the fire departments and police that protect them, the social programs that workers rely on because wages are too low, etc.

I see this off season as the past three or four have gone. Beane has tried as best as possible to fill all the holes, which allows him to enter the draft able to go bpa. I don't do this for a living; he does, and he's been pretty good at it. Let's see what the team looks like post draft, post June 1.

One of my least favorite Bills coaches of all time.
There have been several Bills coaches that I thought were bad coaches, including Marrone. But I never disliked the man. I dislike Marrone. The only other Head Coach I really disliked as a man was Mularkey. I have no use for Dickerson either, but he wasn't a head coach.

I've never heard jokes about Buffalo snow before, what an eye opener.
This always gets me. About 30 years ago, Hurricane Andrew came through Florida, a Category 5. You can't just shovel that or watch it melt. I'll take Western New York any day.

I have an odd feeling we'll make it in but if we don't there's a whole ton of positives to be taken from this season.
- Kincaid is a true stud, he will be a game breaker for our offense next year no doubt.
- Bernard is a stud as well and a playmaker that this defense needs, he's better than Edmunds.
-Cook is a baller and will be even better next season!!
-Spencer Brown is a legit RT for the future!!
-Cyrus will be a monster next year as he was better than average this year as a rook.
-Shakir looks to be a playmaker and will be even better next year out of the slot(Beasely replacement finally).
-We now know Gabe is not it and can cut bate and draft a real #2/ eventual Diggs replacement.
-Ed Oliver is worth the contract and has finally got it all together.
There's a lot of positives that have come out of this frustrating season imo. I'm a glass half full guy!! Hats off to Beanes drafting!!! We're going to be okay we have a lot of young talent at our nucleus now 🦬
I agree, but it's too early.

Still early and overall the offense has been good.
Look back, then re-read that sentence.

I think the best you can expect in season is for the HC to hold the OC and the players accountable, call together a session with the, OC, Josh, and the other leaders on the offense to have an open and honest discussion about what needs to be done to re-charge the offense. Using analytics identify which plays are working and not, get rid of the plays that aren't working, run more of what's working, and design some variation of what is working.
Not New News Flash: the shotgun handoff to Cook is not working.

you weren’t prepared. I’ve made that trip many times. It’s only 5 hours difference. Takeoff at night sleep in the plane. Wake up and it’s morning. Very similar to taking red eye from LA.I've done both more than once. The issues are 1) actually sleeping on the plane (I can't afford 1st Class) and 2) It's 3:00 am for you, not 8:00 or 9:00. It is/was an issue.

He played like 14 games. Also, 4th down slide against Denver with the playoffs on the line. He gets as much love as he deserves.
That play, when he went down rather than take the hit, was the maddest I can remember being at a Bills play. Some guys make mistakes. Other guys just aren't physically capable. This, this was something else.

Most of you guys seem to have forgotten the past twenty years of futility. We haven't won a Super Bowl yet. Boohoo. We didn't make the playoffs!!!!!

actually that is all true. but it doesn't preclude them getting their act together and winning the super bowl. they have beane's drafting and coach camo's game management skills for that.
So you know that Pegula is a racist? Based on what? Second hand stories?

LB: The 2022 had the two best seasons out of Milano/Tremaine in Bills uni's. 2023 takes a big hit this year.
Wait. I thought Tremaine was holding us back? He misses gaps, takes bad angles, tackles runners 10 yards up field. We were supposed to be better with a replacement. I don't understand.
Edit: Don't get me wrong. Edmunds priced himself out of Buffalo, but he was a good LB. I never got all the hate.

Escher would approve. I have hazy memories of psychology classes from the 1970s. I admit I looked up the reference, which, it appears, wasn't accurate. I do kinda remember something about a subway. One should always have hands-on references. In graduate school, I had to do a 100 entry bibliography. I had to physically touch each reference. I guess I've become lazy in my old age.

mmhm! While id like to keep race out of the forums in general. I get it
I wasn't really going for the race part. It's more a reaction to the idea that people rely a lot on preset ideas about things. This board seems to be anti Spencer Brown, so people see what they expect to see.

People are to quick the blame a usual suspect when it turns out being something else.
In an old psychological study on race, two pictures were shown: one had two white guys fighting while one of them had a knife, the other picture had a white guy and black guy fighting with the white guy holding the knife. The observers were asked later, who had the knife? They got the first one right, but the second image was misremembered with the black guy holding the knife.

I'm starting to get worried about Spencer Brown's back problems. It reminds me of Terrell Troup, if I remember his name right. He was a second round pick at DT that never panned out because of back issues.

A long time ago, I owned a Mustang. I loved that car. It looked sharp and was a manual shift. It lasted many years past when I should have let it go. When I finally junked it, my mechanic commented that it was well past time. I still remember that '74 Mustang fondly.
