I notice Skooby isnt around anymore is that because you are Skooby.
Why is your grammer so spectacularly awful?
Because its a blog! If you want you can spell check my text messages? I'll give you $.50, so maybe one day you can move out of your mom's basement. Maybe even find a nice hooker that you can marry?

Not only the Bills 1st round pick, but the 1st pick of the entire draft. Cousineau was a LB, played for Ohio State. He was of French heritage which is the reason Montreal wanted him, they were trying to sell Football to a French HOCKEY Province. When asked why he signed with Montreal instead of Buffalo Cousineau replied I prefer Molsons Ale & Montreal women to Genesse Cream Ale & Buffalo women. The Bills could have selected ANY player in that draft at #1 but wound up with NOTHING.
Is he still around? We should find him!

When is the breaking point? Dunno, but even this discussion is WAY too premature.
I think he will be signed by the end of the week. If not...he's signed when he's signed.
Can't blame one side, here. It's a negotiation. I have yet to hear he is asking for more than what his slotted position warrants.
If he is waiting on Crabtree, than he is asking for more money than his slotted position warrants.
People were pissed at Kelly and Elway when they refused to play, but there awesome play made people forget about the negative.

Depends who you ask. But I doubt very many Bills' fans despise Maybin at this time.
BTW, he isn't holding out. He doesn't have a contract yet, so he can't "hold out".
When is your breaking point Dean? When do we stop making excuses for him? If he waits until Crabtree signs, than he is no better than Crabtree.
-
Bills first round pick in 1979; he ended up signing a contract with the Monreal Alouettes of the CFL (no, really!). It has to be one of the signal traumas of Bills fandom from the Dark Ages of the 1970s.
Do you think Bills fans will dislike Maybin because of this lengthy holdout? If he doesn't sign until Crabtree signs we could be waiting a long time.
With all the defensive ends signed, he should be in camp. The Orakpo signing should have set the parameters. I really don't see what the problem could be accept for greed by Maybin.

Just watched America's Game-The Lost Rings 1990 Buffalo Bills on NFL Network
I tried to will that friggin ball through the uprights but it was still wide right. By the time the show was over I was in tears as if it was live. 18 1/2 years later and it STILL HURTS!!!
GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Scott Norwood!
-
For me it would be Tom Cousineau.
Can u tell me a little about him? It was before my time.
-
Not even close.
GO BILLS!!!
Than who is the most despised draft pick in bills history?
-
16 of 22 camp Pratices down. Aaron "the holdout" Maybin may miss all of training camp!
I think he might be the most despised bills draft pick ever.
-
Really....It depends on who you ask...Every Chiefs fan is probably scratching at the "reach" with the 3rd pick...Every raiders fan is scratching their head over their WR pick.
I agree with you about the raiders pick, but jackson is the next Darnell Dockett.
Its saturday and Maybin is not in camp! I guess its not his fault

I can't tell if you're a troll, or just stupider than stupid. At this point, it doesn't matter.
"stupider than stupid"? Oh my little retard!

He spell checked your POST, not your blog. (Do you have a blog?)
Can you get anything right?
I'm sorry didn't mean to offend all the blogging virgins here!

I'm just glad I have the "Professional Lover", spell checking my blog.

Every team who drafts a college player is "taking a chance" on that player. It is the very nature of the draft. If a team drafts you at a high spot, they understand the kind of contract commitment that comes along with it. You seem to have a very poor understanding of the entire process.
I don't think there is another player, in the 1st round with as many qeations that surround maybin.
-
As you have repeatedly stated.
But it seems your issue should be with the Bills, for selecting him at that draft position. Since they did, he will get the kind of contract a #11 draft pick is due. Pretty simple, actually.
Do you expect the Bills to pick players at #11 and then attempt to pay them less than what is to be expected for that draft slot? That is...what's the word? Stupid, that's it. Stupid.
I think the Bills took a chance on him. I think he should recpricate the gesture.
I really hopes he proves me wrong.
-
But will he still have the killer first step?
I hope he has more than just a good first step.
My fear is he might be a one trick pony!
-
Unless the rules have changed a player can not go to college for 1 year then go pro. He has to wait till his junior year to declare himself for the draft. In baseball.
Its 3 years removed from High School. Amobi Okoye was drafted at 19.
-
Exactly you moron which is LESS THAN the 8.5 Stroud is being paid - hence he wouldn't be the highest paid defensive player - an idea you just plucked out of thin air like all your others. He's not going to get #7 money at #11.
Don't you go back to med school soon? Not soon enough...
Calm Down Buttercup! Its still to much money for a one trick pony defensive end.
-
It's almost like the defense doesn't know HOW to rush the passer. Hopefully that number improves this year. But, as Norman Bates's mother said, "What do you expect us to live on, hope?"
Because the Bills are light years ahead of everyone else. They think that quickness is better than strength!
They have to be smoking crack OBD.
-
I'm pretty sure that Maybin's contract will exceed neither (a) the $8.5M/year of Marcus Stroud or (b) the $7.8M/year of Aaron Schobel. To do so, he'd have to get basically get 1.5 times as much as Derrius Heyward-Bey--the #7 overall pick--who got a 5-year, $34.5M deal ($23.5M guaranteed).
Now, I'm really curious, are you just here to piss and moan, or do you have anything relevant to say?
Last time I checked 5 years $35M equals out to 7 million per year?
-
So you're worried that Maybin is going to ask to be the highest paid DE in football?
Maybin is going to be the highest paid defensive player on the Bills. Which is a Joke, because he is going to get thrown around like plastic Doll!
-
Now sir, we are talking! This thread just became Straight American Slave.
Are you racist?Slave?

Here are some guys who have some pretty great careers with much longer holdouts than Maybin.
I don't hink he has talent comparable to any of those players. But you have a point.
The good thing about the maybin pick is it seems as though Kelsay has new motivation.
