  1. I felt bad for Brohm because he played hard. He even ran down field to throw a block. Unfortunately he didn't get much help from his teammates. Too many dropped passes, receivers running the wrong routes and horrible play from the offensive line has most likely cost him a roster spot. Hopefully he'll catch on somewhere else.

He got little to no help from his teammates, that's for sure. I believe he played much better than his stats for this game show. When he wasn't running for his life and had time to through, he seemed to be reading the defense well and making good decisions on where to throw the ball. The coaching staff will take into consideration the poor play by the receivers and o-line. They will be looking at his decision making, leadership, how well he read the defense, etc.. I don't know if he'll make the roster or not but I still believe it's a toss up between Brohm and Fitz for the #2 spot.

  3. Hey StupidNation, If you want to move on to a new team, have at it. That's your right but whats up with the "Dear John" letter? If you feel the need to express your dissatisfaction with the hope that someone in the FO will read it, why not just write a letter and send it to the GM at One Bills Drive in Orchard Park? Spare us the drama.

To the rest of you that are thinking about resigning as Buffalo Bills fans, please just delete TwoBillsDrive from your favorites and slip away silently. You wont be missed anyway.

  4. I think Fitzpatrick had a ton of rust to shake off. He hasn't played in a game since preseason. He came off the bench in a game that was on the road, against a division rival, in crappy weather, etc.. He did seem to improve as the game went on.

It didn't surprise me at all that his passes were off somewhat. He's had limited practice with the starters (timing) and wind conditions were bad. Maybe it was just me but the whole offense seemed to have a much better attitude with Fitz in there. They looked and played like they believed they could win. I would like to see him play next week after a full week of practice with the starters. I don't believe Fitz or Edwards is the future of the Bills but at this point I say play the guy that gives you the best chance to win.

  5. I'm a Jack alum and, am and will always be proud of the school. It's disheartening to hear this storied rivalry may come to an end, but it's the geography and kids health is now a major concern (Red Warriors -that is). Many of these games have been played in snowfalls. Was this one? Which stadium?

    10K! Wow!

I'm an NT alum also (class of 72). It will truely be a sad day should this rivalry end.
