I have mixed feelings about Poz. He's one of our cornerstone players (hold on poz haters). But the question is what does that mean, and is that saying much?
Does that mean he's the best on a team totally lacking high end talent, but in comparison to other cornerstone LB's, really not very good? Or is he individually more talented than he's able to showcase because of those around him? And therefor just simply needs upgrades around him for his potential to materialize? I'll submit when Poz is out, this team is noticeably worse and misses him sorely on the field. But again I ask, does this mean he's missed because of how good he is, or because the rest of the team is just that bad?
These are the million dollar questions, and the heart of the debate.
My personal feelings are;
My heart tells me Poz can be an impact player if the supporting cast was better. But my brain tells me he just isn't a great talent. If you're great you're great, no matter who's around you. In fact your greatness elevates those around you, and they are the one's that look better because of you. If you can't inspire greatness out of others, how can you yourself be great? So in conclusion, I think Poz is a decent player. He's a good tackler and has a nose for the ball. He lacks the overall speed and strength needed to maximize his instincts. He's a hard working smart football player, that just doesn't have the god given skill set to be an impact Linebacker.

There is NO such word as ANYWAYS. The word you want to engange in your typing is ANYWAY. There is NO plural. Look it up... the word you want to find to prove me wrong would be right in the front of the Dic, but all you are going to find is anyway.
It's one of those things that's just bad grammer and stupidity that shouldn't be... it's not a keying error. I'm seeing dumb 'Anyways' all 2 often. This needs to be addressed. I don't give a **** about punctuation or having fun making up new words, but when you're talking about a 'way', there is only one 'way', not multiple 'ways'.

9th leading tackler in the NFL . Yeah he sux. The boy has more tackles then P. Willis. More tackles then any safety in the league. If he was SO BAD as some of you experts on here, he wouldn`t have many tackles no matter what. How`s the Byrd man doing? Yeah make up some stupid excuse. Because I`m not listening.
How can you call yourself a VET and give golden credit to a Safety being the lead tackler all-the-while (which means in the mean time) we lead the league in points surrendered... meaning... 'Lil D let some tackles get by? If fact, a ridiculous number of passes have been completed to wide open receivers (in plain vie of 'L d) so far this year, as well as a sick number of touchdowns.
If a safety leads the league in knocking players out for the season- then you have my ear. If a safety leads the league in boredom in his quadrant of the field, then I'm listening. If a safety is compared to Ronnie Lott, then talk to me. Otherwise, shut up Donte Vet... show up or be cut.

... and further making it a wonderland... Machine Gun as OC (he used to call the plays remember), Andreas Reed as receivers coach (what a void this is), and Chris Spielman or Bryce Paupsmear as Linebacker coach. Bruce Smiff as the team DD, Marv as the stadium announcer, Daryl Tally as the Daryl Tally, and the Pill as something because he is the Pill. Booker Edgerson should also have a role because I believe he is a good man.

So it's his fault he is covering WRs 20-30 yards downfield and has to make tackles 20 yards downfield b/c our front 7 is so bad? You cannot blame him for that.
If you go to the games and actually watch the plays develop it is NOT the defensive backfields' fault. Donte Whitner is far from the problem on this team. If the board wants a "whipping boy" try the front seven....they are terrible.
Maybe not, but it is 'Lil donte's fault that the opposing receivers are ALWAYS OPEN. Doesn't seem to matter who we play- they are always F'ing OPEN. OUR receivers, on the other hand, are NEVER open. 0-5, loosing fans by the minute. Yup. Blacked out last week and I didn't even give a damn... 1st time in 23 years... I didn't care.

The radio guys today mentioned something as to why Kelsay is continually dropping into coverage. I believe it has something to do with the fact that we CANNOT and HAVE NOT been able to cover ANY TE's thus far. Perhaps 'Lil Donte can flesh it out further?
