If he continued to play the entire season like he did the first 6 weeks, he'd still be here.  Unfortunately he went from catching 74% of his targets early in the year to 61% over the last 13 weeks.  He also dropped a sure fire TD in the playoffs against KC that likely would have won us the game.  Produce and no one cares about your attitude.  Failing to produce and having a bad attitude gets someone traded.

Does anyone have a video of Diggs' dropped pass in the playoff game ?

I mean is this is real, I don't see how the hell Beane waits until 28. Either he is 100% confident that he can get a guy in the 1st round, or the Bills window just closed.

I see a trade with the NYG.

The Chiefs have the best QB/HC combo in the league by a mile.

Speaking of coaching, I haven't seen anyone talking about SF coaching at the end of the first half. Chiefs were in the red zone and winding the clock down. Why didn't SF use their time outs ? They could have gotten the ball back with approximately a minute and a half left. In stead they got the K.O. with 3 seconds left. If our coach did that, we all would be bashing him here on TBD.

I can’t argue with a lot of what you said here … but the 2018 draft navigation from Beane from pick 21 to 7 ( giving up Glenn and a couple of seconds) to pick Josh Allen ( wrong Josh)  will always be a thing of beauty …

This alone will get him into the GM Hall of fame .. and will trump his wasted dollars in that years free agency ..

Plus in 2018 …  he also managed to trade Tyrod Taylor and a cap hit for Pick 65

With that pick 65, who did we wind up taking in that spot.

I think the turnover narrative is way over-blown. Josh has about 6 BAD turnovers this year (fumbles vs Jets and Denver, INT vs Pats, Jets, Broncos, Bengals).

The rest are a combination of game scenario and bad luck.

"Arm punts" on 3rd and long from our side of the field and taking a deep shot. Losing a fumble on a hook and ladder vs Patriots on a last second desperation play. Davis letting a perfect throw go right through his hands. Tipped throws at the LOS. DB's making great catches and our WR's not breaking up 50/50 throws (some overlap here with arm punts).

WR's should just tackle the DB before he is able to make an int. The penalty is you get to do it again just 10 yds longer.

Not as bad a penalty as the intentional grounding penalty....that one cost the Bills a chance at 3 points.

Intentional grounding must be, er, you know, intentional. It was obvious that there was just a mis communication between QB and WR. Also, the QB has to be under duress or worried about a sack. If he is not under duress he can ground it, ala spiking the ball to stop the clock. All in all, a bad call that actually effected the final score.

The field likely was a little slick by that point, too.  (There was a mist that might both have been perceptible on TV.). I would have punted, too.

I've seen teams in that position run it and actually get a first down. Not the probable outcome but you never know.

That surprised me too. I was really expecting quick slants, lots of motion, and movement. The offensive game plan was perplexing. I thought the first half wasn't too bad. It was acceptable. Allen was taking the short throws and being somewhat effective vs a very tough D.

Everything went out the window in the 2nd half. Allen clearly lost his poise. Yet, he was still about to lead his team to the game tying FG. That's how good Allen and his team can be.

Come OT and winning the coin toss was great. I thought Allen is going to match down and get a TD or at least a FG. I really felt good about the Bills scoring. Three and out was horrible. The offense looked lost, flat, and predictable. Extremely disappointing finish.

In O.T., 2nd and 15. we run the ball ????

Makes a lot of sense.  We have a lot of good players.  They may not feel that the coaching staff is good enough relative to the roster we have.  So they are tuning the coaching staff out.  There is a big difference between taking a bad team, and making it competitive like the Lions did last year.  And making a good team a championship team.  McDermott has not done that yet.  And the guys who know him best, his players, may not see that greatness in him leading them to the promised land.

We will see soon enough as the season unfolds.  If Josh Allen plays well, we will have a chance.  If Josh Allen plays spectacular week in and week out especially late in the season and into the playoffs we will be playing for the Lombardi.

The Bills organization has turned over multiple times since 2007/8 and Peters strikes me as a complete mercenary who if the money is right will play with anyone. So if McBeane thinks Peters is better than Doyle or Queese and has the cash to outlay then I think it will happen. The question is more so does McBeane want Peters and if so for how much?

Personally, I don't think kicking the tires on Peters as a reserve tackle is all that bad of an idea. Peters is ancient by NFL standards but he graded out decently with Chicago in 2021 and was decent for the Cowboys in a fairly light amount of snaps in 2022 (only played 235 snaps allowing one sack) I can't see how signing him to the PS to start the season would be a bad idea IF you don't like what you have on the roster depth wise.

What is the minimum pay for a 20 year veteran ?

I may be in the minority but I think Davis is going to have a very good year as long as he’s healthy. He seems to be dismissed as an after thought.

I still think we should make a go for Hopkins but Davis is being very underrated on here in my opinion

I agree. People are forgetting that he played with a high ankle sprain. This is usually a 3-4 week injury. I would guess that it effected his concentration and thus a few extra drops.

They dominated almost forever, and no one can ever take that away from them.

But, the fun thing for opposing fans is how completely delusional they are now.  An entire generation is cartoonishly entitled.  They pretty much all talk like the Bills are just placeholders for a few years until the Pats return to their "rightful place" on top of the division.

There's a good chance that the Pats could go 0-6 in the AFC East.

This draft just doesn’t have the high end talent of others. I don’t think that the Bills pick at 27. Beane LOVES to go up to get his guy. There is a lot of talk about going down but I think it’s just as likely that they go up.

Ideally, I’d like to see them do something like 27 & 2024 4th for Hopkins and 34.

I'd like that but can they afford the salary ?
