  1. I have been thinking and was looking at a list of current Free Agents and then looking at the draft. Heres what I was thinking...

3 Free Agents I would like to see brought in:

1.) Gerard Warren- NT- Played for Oakland last year. He is 6'4"- 330 pounds. He would add a big physical body in the middle of our defense with good experience. Hes 32 years old and has started 127 games in his 10 year career playing with 3 teams (Cleveland, Denver, and Oakland). He has experience in the 3-4. He is a guy I have been hoping the Bills would sign since he was released. He also played with Andra Davis in college and in Cleveland so that helps.

2.) Antonio Pierce- ILB- He is 32 years old. Played for NY Giants last year. I have always been a fan of him. He was injured last year only starting and playing in 9 games. Hes a tough physical football player who can bring alot of experience and leadership to this defense. He played with Kawika Mitchell in NY. He has started 94 games in his 10 year career with 686 career tackles. He can add depth and give the Bills alot of flexibility with the LB corps. With the Andra Davis signing a few weeks ago and signing him to a 1-2 year deal, it could allow us to move Mitchell and Posluszny to OLB where they have both played before. Posluszny played OLB in his career at Penn State and thats where he was good. Then that would allow Maybin to learn the OLB role and be a situational player who gets alot of playing time. Then we can say goodbye to Kelsay and it wouldn't really affect us if Schobel decides to retire. Then we would also have Ellis and Ellison for depth.

3.) Chester Pitts- OG- He is 31 years old. He has 114 career starts in his 9 year career. He was injured last season. He adds depth in the middle of our line and allows us to have a proven starter just in case Eric Wood isn't ready, and allows us to have a solid backup plan. And when Eric Wood is fully ready to come back, we can slide him into either LG, C, or RG. Whichever player is performing the worse. It solidifies the middle of our O-line.

All three of these players can be had at a cheaper cost because of their age. 4 years ago these guys where worth much more. They all bring lots of experience and add depth and possibly starters to areas of need.

Now lets swift focus to the Draft (Bills first five picks):

1st Round- Bryan Bulaga- OT- Iowa- My personal favorite O-linemen in this draft. This would instantly improve our offensive line. Hes polished, had good balance and good feet. Hes strong and uses his hands well. Great run blocker who can push to the second level. And hes a good pass protector. Not many negatives and seems to be a safe choice.

2nd Round- Terrance Cody- NT- Alabama- He can solidify our front 7 if he stays in shape. This guy is a beast. Has a huge frame, long arms, great strength and commands double teams. Great tackler and gets a great push up the middle.

3rd Round- Eric Decker- WR- Minnesota- Big (6'3"- 217 pounds) strong receiver who is great over the middle. Great route runner. Great awareness. Good hands and body control. Hes also a leader.

4th Round- John Skelton- QB- Fordham- Big strong QB (6'5"- 240 pounds). He has pretty good accuracy. Has a great arm, can make all the throws. He has a good release and goes through his progression well. He is also pretty mobile.

5th Round- Matt Tennant- C- Good awareness and good technician. Hes quick, tough and finishes his blocks. Hes highly competitive and can be a leader in the locker room. He still has room to get bigger. And he can play really nasty.

Well there you have it, thats how I would like to see things play out. I think this could give us a pretty solid team that we could be excited about.

    LETS GO BILLS!!!

  2. Duh? Bruce was a shell of his 'primetime' self when he played for the 'Skins.

During his salad days, he made no bones about how he's be better than Reggie White if he played in a 4-3. I have little doubt he would have had even more sacks had he done so.

    Are you ok?

You dont need to respond like I said something wrong. I simply asked what defense he played in while in Washington.

Then I said he had 29 sacks in those 4 years. Which is pretty good especially for his age.

No need for the duh? comment big boy

  3. Just saw on NFLN that Lynch wants to be traded. I'd like to see him go. Just another overpaid NFL thug in my eyes.

    SKOOBY?

Funny I have been watching NFLN since about 6:00 while working on some homework... The only time they mentioned Lynch was that he didn't show up to any off season conditioning last week BUT most of the Bills roster did. They speculated that he may have not showed up because he is not happy. But they didn't say anything along the lines of "Lynch wants out of Buffalo"

    Get your stories straight.

  4. Bulaga is a late first round pick,if they take him at 9 i would be shocked, just my opinion

then you should learn to watch college football instead of taking a name and guessing. EVERY scout or mock draft I have seen have said Bulaga is a top 10 pick, some even say top 5 pick. He is the 2nd best if no the best OT in this draft.. and its a pretty close between him and Okung

  5. if you say so!, FYI, the term is tea party!, TEA PARTY!.not teabagger, but as someone who just referenced balls and "shaft style", i could see why you like, and use , the term "teabagger"

    Actually it is "tea-bagger"

A tea-bagger is: A whining fool shouting loudly for liberty and improvement in their country but not willing to pay the bill.

Example in a sentence: After most American workers saw more money in their paycheck due to the lower tax rate, the tea-baggers like Rush Limbaugh, the Conservatives and Fox News railed against high taxes, but did not discuss their hypocrisy

  6. I'm over-tired of a bunch of big-mouthed no-ass faggots running around yapping about how Trent Edwards is a pu$$y. Do you simpering little ***** even watch football? The guy has started less than 2 seasons worth of games in this league and the first half of that stretch the biggest problem he had was his insistence on regularly standing in the pocket, facing down constant jailbreaks, refusing to protect himself and taking shot after shot in the face cuz he was trying to make plays down the field. And after showing the guts to repeatedly stand in there behind that joke of an OLine, willingly getting his grill mashed game after game after game he takes a concussion from one of the baddest men in the league and then finally realizes that he needs to protect himself if he's going to survive in this league. So after a couple years of playing under the worst coaching staff in the NFL behind the worst Offensive Line in the league, a bunch of needle-dicked little bug-fu(kers are going to run around with their little internet muscles calling this guy a pu$$y after he spent week after week repeatedly stepping into throws knowing he was going to get his face smashed in.

I have no idea whether this kid is going to be a good player in this league, and neither do you. But what I do know is that anybody that calls him a pu$$y after the multiple killshots he's willingly taken is nothing but an all-talk, gutless little ******** who would piss down his own leg the first and last time he was asked to stand up in an NFL pocket.

I agree that people aren't giving Edwards enough of a chance. He did look good in his first year then had a few injuries and hasn't looked the same since. But since those injuries he has been a little scared looking and has been terrible. But I do think he can be at least an average starting QB in this league if he has a good line and good coaching.

BUT, Seriously? Whats with the language. Too much to drink? Your an adult and a Forum Moderator who is suppose to be keeping these forums CLEAN. Grow up and set an example for the kids that view these forums. Of all the forums I have an account on, I have never ran into an Adult/Forum Moderator as disrespectful and immature as you are. You have a habit of insulting people and using language that is inappropriate in public. But yet you are going to complain because people have their own opinions of Edwards and they think he's terrible. Are you the only one thats allowed to say a player sucks or form your own opinion? Its their opinions leave it be instead of throwing insults, you have your own opinions. Calm down internet tough guy

I like how when I throw one insult when someone insulted me; you PM me saying your gonna ban me. BUT YOU ARE OFTEN THROWING INSULTS and you are a Forum Moderator. Set an example big guy.

  7. Gee, why might a bar owner want to destroy a tape that shows a bunch of underage people in his bar, as opposed to giving that tape to the police?

Actually... the video tape was in police hands. They where "watching the tape at the station then they got a call and they responded, they came back and the tape was recorded over" according to ESPN's report of what the police department told them.

    So goes your theory

  8. I read that the tape would help Ben's case not hurt.

Well according to that article the tape showed Big Ben with the girl at about the time the girl said it happened. And ESPN just said basically the same thing on Sportscenter. So I dont know how in th world that would help Ben

"Cansino said a member of Roethlisberger's entourage recorded his own video inside the nightclub, where the quarterback and eight to 10 friends went to celebrate his 28th birthday. According to Cansino, the footage shows Roethlisberger with his accuser around the time of the incident."

  9. http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d8...mp;confirm=true

Gotta love when people with money has evidence against them, then it mysteriously vanishes or something like this happens.

"An attorney for the Georgia nightclub where a 20-year-old woman accused Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger of sexually assaulting her said security footage from the evening of the alleged incident was recorded over, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported Thursday."

  10. Unless you are an NFL scout, news reporter, family member, or part of the college teams' program, if you attend a so-called pro day you are a loser.

I think your the loser to respond with such ignorance. If I lived 5 minutes (even a hour or two) away from the stadium where a Pro Day was taking place with some good players and getting alot of media coverage, I would LOVE to attend.

  11. great signings, sures up our front 7

It makes our front 7 stronger yes... BUT it doesn't "sure it up." We still need a true NT and some depth at ILB.

Right now we have good DE's for the 3-4.... with Dwan Edwards, Marcus Stroud, Kyle Williams and Spencer Johnson

ILB- It will most likely be Andra Davis and Paul Posluszny as the starters but there is no depth

OLB- Kawika Mitchell and Aaron Schobel/Aaron Maybin as the starters with Keith Ellison, Bryan Scott (emergency OLB), Chris Draft and Nic Harris as depth. But if Schobel retires we NEED someone who has starter quality to push and compete with Maybin. But OLB looks to be solid for now BUT I would love to see us bring in someone like Keith Bulluck or Joey Porter to be a leader, preferably Bulluck as long as hes healthy.

But the NT position... We have no true NT on our roster. Its one of the most important positions in the 3-4. I would like to see us sign Gerard Warren or make a trade for Shaun Rogers

I think its time to say goodbye to Chris Kelsay unless they think he can be an effective OLB, but I think hes a little slow for that
