Freddy or Searcy.......We've had bad injury luck with running backs in recent past and we're thin in the secondary, with McKelvin out 'till October, we could have bumped Graham to DB and been serviceable......as it stands, we're talking about putting Darby, a rookie back there against elite QBs.......

Make sure he sees and UNDERSTANDS the opportunity in front of him. There are many more people out there that I see on the job, WITHOUT opportunity. As a father with special needs children, I know. It's an agony no parent or children should have to endure for a lifetime but so many do. And those are just two facets of opportunity lost......
Make sure he holds himself to a higher standard. As a firefighter, I'm forced to, and that's a good thing....makes it easier to live with oneself. Establish the importance of service, whatever it might be, it will help ground him.
Make him understand competition......AGAINST HIMSELF. If a test gets the better of him, he needs to find out why, and destroy it next time. It is critical to KNOW WHEN THERE ISN'T A NEXT TIME, especially in life, and of getting it right the first time.
ACCOUNTABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY......'nuff said.

I think everyone should show up, being that they're installing a new offense and that the OL is one of the big question marks going in.......There is also very little reason for a fan to be concerned about it
I've never seen a linemans season ruined by missing a no pads, optional, practice in May. Nice to get good attendance but no need to dramaticize it

Awe, man, tell the story........i was gonna tell you all a story involving Schaub, a drunken English soccer fan, and a late-night foot race outside a Houston bar..
when i first heard it, i thought it was funny.. and then, with what's happened to Schaub since, i think it's kinda pathetic..
anyway.. i would definitely give Schaub a chance to compete on a football field, but i wouldn't release any of my guys to make room until sitting down with him, and seeing where his head's at

New England LB did the same not turning around for the ball and flailing of arms when covering our receiver........non-call. : /
