  1. I got BBFS bad... I wasn't comfortable till Shady's bug run and score. I can't help it. I've seen this team literally invent ways to lose.

Reminds me of the 1980 team...........😀

However, this team does feel different. They play hard. They seem well coached. You can feel them believing more and more each week. It's making me want to believe. Everything tells me, we should come crashing back to reality, but man it's fun seeing this team come together. I'm enjoying the hell out of this ride.

One more win now! Let's keep this rolling. Go Bills!!

  2. haha. I'll never forget the Raider game at The Ralph in 2002. They had Jerry Rice and Tim Brown. It was early in the season and Bledsoe had our offense rolling. I had gotten someone's season ticket and was sitting behind a guy who was in his 80s. STH, minding his own business. Trashy Raiders fans were pouring beer on him and shouting expletives at the poor old man. I had a few words with them but they were beyond wasted. I think they were mostly girls and couldn't have been older than low 20s.

    The Bills lost.

that was the year they went to the Super Bowl. As I remember, it was a good game......
  3. A couple things about that article.

That Steelers game in the snow in Buffalo convinced me that we were ready to move on from the Rex regime. I've been watching our Bills a long time, and never was I more let down about the fact that our team got pushed around so badly in that weather. I mean, that's OUR weather. That's our home field advantage. Instead, some of our players (not all) looked like they had never seen the stuff before. So, the things that our former players said about moving indoors when the weather turned lousy certainly showed up to me in that game in particular.

Now moving on to today, I'm very optimistic that our new coach is so detail oriented. I'm thinking he won't let the small details that that Boston Globe article talks about go by the wayside for an easier life for himself or the players. At least this is what we've been presented so far. We haven't played a down yet...but I like what I'm seeing so far. I'm liking the discipline and detail. Heck, they even got Dareus out there sweating in OTA.

Like I said, lets see how it plays out. But so far, I'm optimistic about the future with McDermott and Beane running things. Lets hope to a long regime where a detail oriented and winning philosophy can become ingrained into the culture and we can go back to owning the division for a while.

The Miami games were identical to that Pitts game, absolutely nauseating.......

  4. Doesn't any win help us get to the tiebreaker.....?

Good win yesterday for sure but the reality is that the win hurt us in terms of playoff opportunity. As much as I'd love to win the division, I don't think the Bills are there yet and even if they were I'm not sure the NFL and especially the refs would allow it. If correct, this means any hope at the playoffs is via wild card.

Yesterday's win put us at the very bottom of tie-breaker scenarios in the case of wild card opportunities. Unless we're only battling teams in our own division or one on one with a team we'll play or have played like Baltimore, then the first tie breaker involves eliminating teams that have good records against the NFC. It seems likely that we may end up there. Arizona is/was a favorite in that division and we get the Rams and 9ers later in the year. We're looking at a 3-1 record against the NFC with the probable loss coming against Seattle. I think that record will probably be too good to keep us in the hunt tie-breaker wise.

  5. Not kicking in practice is different than not kicking Sunday. Where did you hear this OP?

Sorry I didn't link it, thought I saw it as a briefing of injuries in a report.........my bad, carry on. Now I'm seeing he's good to go........

After the Browns game featuring Jeff Tuel and Brandon Weeden. He was awful

He was able to present a LARGE body of work that game, too................ : /
