You think a mediocre LB has much pull with this staff... Interesting.
The Bills are very high on Poz. A great leader and great worker, he deserves respect.
-
I doubt he would be taking steroids this close to the draft though. Just think about if he got caught. His career would be over before it started. I mean after all, some people have a great work ethic and are very dedicated to becoming bigger and better athletes. Let's give the guy some credit.

...they say Harvin will go late first round, some even say to the Titans at #30
But that aside, we don't need a 76th WR on our roster. Lets look at a position of "need" first.
-
I am not surprised...the Bills front office are a bunch of dead beats! I am done with this team until Ralph and the boys leave town... ...
But yet your username is "longtimefan44".... the irony.

You would essentially be creating an A and B division, similar to the way many European soccer leagues work. It would make for frustratingly good competition in the A division and frustratingly bad competition in the B division. Not a supporter.
-
It will most likely never happen with the signing of Florence, but I would have preferred Rolle to him, IMO.
-
Poz may have a little say in this, or at least get in the heads of the FO about him. I think he has tremendous potential and its huge that he has been bulking up. I wouldn't mind him at #11.
-
He looked pretty impressive on that highlight video. Great open field tackling from what I saw.
-
Some mocks have the Bills taking him at #11. that would be great...but, I'm starting to doubt he will be there.
If he fell to #11 its a no brainer for the FO to draft him. Hey, I guess its still a possibility, stranger things have happened (T.O.)
-
I know this won't happen, but I would love to trade up for Orakpo.
-
Maybin will be drafted in the first round for sure.
Yes, I agree. As a Penn State fan as well I've seen that he has tremendous potential as an outside linebacker in a 3-4 system (not what the Bills run) because he is only 240 pounds. As much as I would love to see him as a Bill, I don't think the FO will do it.

Is there any news as to the results of this meeting? Sorry if it has already been said, I tried to read over everything.
-
Maybe McCargo, and a second rounder. Still not believing that to be true though.
you really thought that he was being serious... wow
-
Well I guess we can hold hope in Goodell being a local boy (Jamestown, NY) and maybe being from Bills Country will help our case.

1.) Sign Angelo Crowell, Freddy Kaiho, Cato June, or Marcus Washington for OLB
2.) Sign Mike Goff for OLG
3.) Sign Orlando Pace for OT (1 or 2 year deal)
4.) Trade Jason Peters to Eagles for a 1st (#21) and a 2nd.
5.) Trade Trent Edwards, Roscoe Parrish, 2009 2nd (from Eagles), 2009 3rd, & 2010 1st for Jay Cutler and Tony Scheffler
6.) Take Michael Oehr at #11, DE at #21 (Whomever's left Orakpo/Brown/Maybin/Jackson/Ayers/Johnson), and S in the 2nd (Louis Delmas or William Moore)
I'm totally behind you on getting Cutler/Scheffler, but we can't afford to lose the backbone to the best special teams unit in the NFL. That being said, I also think that you can't give up a first round pick in 2010 that is going to be stacked full of quality QB's (Bradford, McCoy, Tebow, etc.) But I like the way you are thinking!

Actually, if you were here on the Wall that Saturday, you may have known before you got that text ...
Again, as I had to state yesterday too, my first actual day posting was yesterday. So hey, I did the best I could haha.
-
Like I said, get a grip Thinking the Bills are in talks with the Bronco's in trades for Cutler is just plain silly
But who thought that Owens was even a remote possibility until we got the text message that one glorious Saturday. "The Bills have announced a 6:15 PM news conference."

i lost all respect for james harrison in the super bowl. he is a dirty player and i could care less what he does in workouts.
-
What's the worst we could do go 7-9 again.
Actually, we could do worse. There are seven more games to lose than that...
-
He could play left AND right Tackle at the same time!
That's not steroids, just simply whey protein and fish oil.
-
I don't get it, what is the advantage of Edwards over Cutler for Denver?
The advantage for them is that Edwards is more of a fit to McDaniels style of offense. Cutler is a gunslinger, Edwards is a technician (ideally).
-
Wont happen again...Jerry Jones was desperate to save his SB season so he could open the new stadium a champion...he grossly over paid...
Took the words out of my mouth.

With Jason Peters once again not agreeing to a contract we simply deal him for a first and some other picks. Then you pull the plug for Cutler and give the Broncos Edwards and they'll probably want a first or second so give them that. If we lose a second for cutler then we would have our 11th pick and one from whoever's we would get for Peters. We then could try to package a deal and move up and get a solid LT in the draft. Or if we give a first for Cutler then we would have the one we recieved in the deal for Peters. So all in all we would either really still have our picks or possibly more, and we would get rid of the headache in Peters.
You really think people will give a 1st and MORE picks for Peters? Everything you said in this post is absolutely ridiculous and you just proved yourself to be a complete moron.

I'm sorry that I joined a couple weeks ago and first posted today. My bad.
Stallworth was slightly over the legal limit

Evidently, most of you don't drink ever if you think that he had 50 drinks in 5 hours. I don't care if you are the biggest Irish person in the world, you would more than likely be dead after that. We all know the rule of thumb is .01 every drink so that would put him at .50 which would be near certain death. It would have been til late that night that he even came close to being the legal limit. Thinking he had 50+ drinks that night is absurd.
