Fred Jackson...he reminded me of Thurman so much with the way he would run as if he had eyes in the back of his head and always knew the right angle to take so a chasing player couldn't get him.

If the Bills stopped trying to to replace him every year and just let him play, he would have been a 10K yard back for them.

    Freddy just felt like Buffalo.

  2. I remember feeling sorry for him with the crappy low budget rosters he had,  standing in front of the camera postgame declaring "It's very, very hard to win in this league," after another loss. Sad for his family. Seemed like a good dude and if Kyle Williams says it, it's good enough for me. RIP.

Gotta say that I hope Amari and his family are ok. But we need him and this is what he’s paid to do. You need to compartmentalize and put yourself in a frame of mind to help the team.

Sometimes I read stuff like this and I'm just flabbergasted. If there is something that is tragic in Amari's life, I want him to focus on it. Football is a game. When I've had tragedies in my life, no amount of "compartmentalizing it" would have put me in a place of peak performance.  He's human.

I get it, but I dont feel at all bad for them... almost like  i dont expect anyone to feel bad for us Sabre fans... you gotta do it right from the top down... Woody and Terry in their respective situations have demonstrated abject ineptitude at every turn... play stupid games win stupid prizes.... and then proceeded to learn absolutely nothing from their mistakes... the concept of taking a declining 40yr old QB, paying him a bleep ton of money and them making him the defacto GM and coach was absolutely insane... only to be out done maybe by Clevelands trade for Watson and every decision that Terry Pegula has ever made regarding the Sabres....  the Sad thing for the Jets is that they have literally set themselves back a minimum of 3 years and that is if they hit on their QB this year in the draft.  All the vets that Rodgers brought are aging, key pieces of the defense are going to get older... CJ Mosely is injured all the time... Williams is gonna wanna get paid, Breece Hall is not going to be as effective et al.... The worst thing to happen to them would probably win a few more games go like 8-9 or 7-10 and knock themselves out of a top QB pick.

I feel a bit bad for some fans, but many Jets fans and media members have a superiority complex that is completely unearned and obnoxious. It was glorious watching them implode yesterday.
