  1. Gotta shout out to my guy Isaiah Hodgins. Back-to-back games with receiving TD’s. Feel for the dude having to deal with the putrid passing ability of Daniel Jones. The guy hasn’t passed beyond 200 yards in the past 2 games. 56.5 QBR for the season. Imagine the red zone threat he could have been had the Bills retained him. After watching McKenzie be less than inspiring this season, I still believe the Bills cut the wrong Isaiah.

  2. White showed me he is a QB to be feared, maybe more than any other QB in the division. Some of his throws -in the face of blitzing LB/DL - was a testament to both guts and skill. I will go so blasphemous to say he outplayed JA. Yes, yes, yes he is nowhere near as talented as our beloved JA. I liked his decision making, though. A significant upgrade to Flacco and light years from Wilson. Bills need to be wary….

  3. The more I watch the Chiefs game the more I come away impressed with Motors overall effort and production. Watch that first half again. The dude is moving piles and getting excellent north south effort. His pass blocking also was solid. He has become a complete back in my opinion and I was so glad Bills passed on CMC and stuck with possibly the most underrated back in the league.

I realize more goes into a player’s impact than stats but based purely on stats here you go:

    Sauce:

    Attachment with 23 total tackles, 16 solo, 7 assists. 1 IntDEAF4393-C1B7-473E-A24A-058BD8C62C9F.thumb.jpeg.b5c1b64c2bf6f352618836b99aeda7e5.jpeg0CD6120D-DC1D-4D68-872B-CCDC97AF224A.thumb.jpeg.9c562a98dcbe468bfaeacb1543b05c5c.jpeg

    Elam:

Attachment with 29 total tackles, 19 solo, 10 assists. 2 Ints.

I’ll need to watch film because based purely on stats, I’m not seeing a noticeable difference in impact.

I hate to hype the Jets but that kid has been phenomenal.
And just for Iron Maiden breece looks like a possible leader for oroy so far.
Lot of season left and it’s not like Elam has no shot at it.

Steve Smith was a bad A**. Wouldn't mind him around young up and coming Bills WR at all. Hines Ward either. Bring it!

If only his football commentary on NFL Network matched his skill on the field. Listening to Smith’s incoherent, at times moronic, commentary made me beg for Jim Gray and Tom Brady’s exchanges.

  7. Gardner is impressive but I like Elam’s progression in a short amount of time. Plus, the Bills DL pressure and offensive assault will surely have opposing QB’s forced to pass to keep within striking distance. If Elam has 6-8 Ints as a rookie and low pass completion %, we’ll revisit this. 😉

  8. Only 6 games in, is it too early for Elam to make a case for DROY? Forgive but is there another DB - or another defensive rookie, period- who has had a bigger impact, defensively? Looking forward to seeing his stats at the halfway point.

  9. Is anyone confused why Hodgins, who had a great Spring and preseason, is not activated to the 53 roster with obvious injuries (and alarming lack of production) from Davis and minimal output from Crowder? There may not be an open spot but is Kumerow even available?
