  1. OJ was not only the best RB in Bills history, he was the most talented player than EVER had.

OJ wins and it not even close. I saw every game of that 73' season when he gained 2003 yds. But his best overall season was in 75' IMO.

Thomas 2nd. We don't go to 4 straight Super bowls without him. He was clutch. He was huge in the playoffs . What great hands out of the backfield. He was the best receiving RB we ever had.

Joe Cribbs 3rd. I don't think many people would put him this high but I do.

BeastMode 4th I am a huge Marshawn Fan and still mad it didn't work out here for him.

Travis Henry 5th. Henry had some awesome years here.

  2. Right now....Shady

CJ is gone. Fred is the perfect compliment to Shady running style.

This gives Fred less carries and it fits Rex's ground and Pound thinking.

We get some guards in FA , Get Locker and let him fight it out with EJ.

If we can find a QB this season we can go into the playoffs and do some damage with this D even without Kiko.

I hope this makes Spikes come back, more likely now with Kiko gone.

This has been an excellent off-season so far and I think it will continue.

  3. I wanted Rex all along.

Players love to play for him..... he must be doing something right.

Say what you want but Geno is doing better than EJ at this point. My hope for this season is that he can Coach E.J. up.

You know what, I think he can. Or at least hire an good OC, that's gonna be big.

Marrone didnt want EJ or know how to make him better.

All I know is Rex is a good coach. Any improvement from EJ who was 2-2 this year BTW we can be a playoff club next year.

  4. Sorry for being gone most of the season, Twitter has been fun this year.

But since this is the off-season 140 characters will not do so....

This is a great hire. Gives us the best chance to beat the Pats during the regular season.

Don't know how this will effect the coaching staff yet. Cross that bridge when we come to it.

But Kim and Terry Pegula are changing this organization quickly and it is long overdue.

  5. AP is not on probation. He is on a bond/release status. He could have been held in jail for the charges made against him. He and his legal reps went before a judge requesting his release from custody. The judge and his reps informed AP that there were conditions associated with his release. Taking drugs were prohibited. He couldn't go near his child etc. He certainly was informed that he was also subject to being tested. Not being available for drug testing would result in a return to custody.

Take the high profile football player out of this situation. If Joe Blow small time criminal was released on bond and was tested for drugs and failed what would be the result? The fool would be quickly sent to jail waiting for another release hearing. What you are advocating is that AP should be treated differently because he is a high profile professional athlete. That's not how it should be. He should be taken to jail like anyone else. Then he should have another opportunity to go before a magistrate to request another bond consideration. The magistrate would then probably release him on stricter conditions, such as an increase in bond, daily drug tests, electronic monitoring etc. My point is he should be treated like everyone else would be.

what you just said is the basic problem of the justice system.

It favors the wealthy, it hinders the poor.

Really you are 100 percent right but that just the way it is. The more money you have, the more juice you got in the legal system because you can afford the best lawyers.

  6. And looks good doing so?

Do we instantly give him 50 million? Do we all buy Orton jerseys? Do we bow down to the mustache messiah?

The road to the playoffs always goes squarely through New England in this division, and if the Bills beat the Pats I'm ready to believe. If they get beaten handily, it's just another year of business as usual.

F going through NE, I'm tired of hearing it. Make em go through Buff. It's about damn time.

Yes if Orton wins this game we buy his jerseys, that's allowed.

I'll say this, if we win this game we a playoff team, I said it.

If we lose it will another time the Bills failed to show and prove.

There's always one game early in the season were Buffalo has a chance to shine and they always wilt.

I hope its different this yr cause I'm tired of losing these big games in the division.

    We all are.

  7. If he beats the Lions the team has a shot at 6-2 right there he will be a hero to the fan base. Having reached the bye week with the total amount of wins from the last 3 seasons. If he breaks the playoff drought hold on to your horses, he may really have found his team.

If he does that ....well one game at a time.

But the next 4 games in my mind our winnable if we get even average QB play.

Ill take 5-3 tho in a heartbeat.

  8. I feel like the Detroit game is gonna be a combination of the Matt Leinhart/Jordan Palmer preseason disasters. Ok- so I'm preparing for the worst. if it's anything better than that...it's all gravy. I hope Orton looks great but I'm having a real hard time believing he will show up for his very first Bills game ever and throw for 250+ and a couple TDs. Let's just hope the D and special teams somehow go nuts on Sunday.

I feel like you do. Really don't care who the QB is as long as they RUN the DAmn Ball more.

    That's all i got.

  9. Kyle is the better player but I think Bradham would be the bigger loss. It's become painfully clear that he is our best LB.

Kyle for any length would be a much bigger loss. He is a beast.

Bradham is a key piece now, I like how he handled his biz of the field and turned his game up. Turn up.

Hope they not out for long if at all.

  10. I don't know if you can fix accuracy. Bet the WR's are getting pissed that they are getting open but the QB can't sling the rock in there.

They thought EJ would get better in his 2nd year. He has not.

Still would play him tho. Have to hope the light goes on for EJ or its gonna be 15 yrs.

  11. I normally resist the temptation to cite the importance of individual games. They all seem to be just SO important, but this one sticks out imo so I want to address it.....

    1) Houston can be beat, and it would be an important road win in a conference game.

    2) Win or lose, it will be a tall order for this inexperienced coaching staff to win next week on the road for the 2nd week, in a dome, against a very talented Lions team. Not impossible mind you, but a VERY tough task.

    3) EJ will be tested because of Watt, who is tearing up the league. Every EJ scenario exists:

    a) He could step up and take over the game.

    b) He could suck.

    c) He could get hurt and Orton could win (or lose).

    d) Anything else.

    4) 3-1 is a beautiful thing. Yes, we have been down the road of good starts before only to see to see them go sour. That said, 3-1 is still a nice situation.

    5) A win, coupled with a loss from ANY of our divisional opponents (let alone more than 1) would be HUGE. And this division isn't looking all that great, ya know?

So there it is. On Sunday I will be happier than the norm if we win and more disappointed if we lose. I truly do want this game big time! Bills Fans probably need this game more than the team does. :)

    GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its about this time every year I can usually tell if this is a playoff team or not. Still not sure about this squad tho.

The way San Diego won last Sunday bothered me. They were outplayed AND out-coached.

Rivers is a top 5 QB IMO. It would have been nice to see them put up more of a fight. They didnt.

If they win on the road this week will be huge inside the locker room. They win have to regain their Swag before going up to Detroit.

If they don't win we might see some changes because I think the organization is fed up with losing just as much as we are and nobodys job is safe.

    Including CB and QB.

  12. Bills are lucky Clowney is not playing. They can double team Watt. But he is a beast tho. Bills will have trouble with him.

Fitz will be extra motivated to beat his old team. He has some damn good WR's.

Game will be close. Bills win in OT again 30-27.

This one is tough to pick. The defensive book has been written on EJ and the Texans have a decent pass rush.

Given Fitz's penchant for picks, one would assume most of the Bills points will be scored on defense--but Graham would have to start over either Leodis or Gilmore.

Graham will have to start over McLovin.

There I fixed it for you . :)

  13. Here are 5 Vines from the last game that highlight his accuracy issues. In each clip the OL holds up nicely and gives him time to throw. He stands tall in the pocket, makes the correct reads, finds the open man, and then....then....he just misfires. His inconsistent play didn't just start last week either. I can excuse a young QB for not picking up a blitz, for not seeing an open receiver, or for not reading a coverage correctly. But when you do all the aforementioned correctly and simply can't throw a football accurately, well I'm just not sure that's an easily correctable part of a QB's skill set.

    Excellent post.

I dont think it is correctable myself but I am still willing to give him the rest of the year to find out.

  14. About the play calling, it wasn't that bad but EJ was missing plays again. He left some big plays out there . One I think was to Woods if he had held the ball for a fraction more would have been a huge gainer.

    The OL was terrible today.

I think more than anything the Bills got out-coached today. SD was able to get mis-matches all game against our LB's.

First time this year we missed Kiko. If we had him it would have made a HUGE difference.
