Mods, if this has been posted elsewhere please feel free to move it where ever you think it belongs

Ken Dorsey has reached the level of his incompetence.  I thought he did great as a Quarterback position coach and helped with the development of Josh, because of this I thought he would make an excellent OC, I was wrong.  This offense has no Rhythm, no flow and looks extremely vanilla.  Could it be that Ken Dorsey's mind can only handle a pro style college offense.  He was great in college, not so much in the NFL.

McDermott cannot handle two jobs.  The Bills have a choice to make.  Either make McDermott the head coach and hire a new DC, or make McDermott the DC and hire a new head coach.  McDermott has proven that he cannot handle both.

Just my opinion on this whole season so far.

Based on this how do you elevate Brady?  Josh has regressed as Josh QB coach.. So now you're going to give him the keys to the offense?  Make it make sense!

There’s firms and stuff owners hire.

Ive said this before though, don’t expect McDermott to be fired after 1 losing season. It’s going to take multiple losing seasons.

And I’ll add my opinion. The Bills would be absolutely stupid to think about firing McDermott until they have a losing season.

Didn't work for Doc Rivers.. Seems to be heading in the same direction from a results perspective .. #Bridesmaid

I’m big on Josh Allen, love his competitive nature, amazed by his abilities but it seems like since the Britney split he’s going pretty deep on posing and modeling. I’ll admit that he looked great at the Kentucky Derby but his poses are a little too much for my liking and now I just a post on IG for caps and it was like this guy thinks he’s a model now. Sorry, don’t like it, flame me all you want but I just want him to concrete on being a rough and tough QB who plows through defenders, not a guy sitting in a armchair posing waiting on GQ to give him a call. The clothes and such are nice but truth be told the only thing that I want to see him modeling is a Super Bowl ring.

I think these have to be the answer. I think the jets/ Miami/Buffalo are capable of winning any of the games played against each other now that Rodgers is in. Wilson's jets beat the Bills so anything is possible.

Willing to say here Buf beat Buf against the Jets .. .Early Red Zone bonehead interception and missed 55 yd field goal took winning points off the board for Bills.  Plus allowing ZW run for a few long first downs.

Aggressive/more risky defense to force some key sacks or turnovers has been 2 years in the waiting.  It's the key to slowing down Mahomes/Burrow led offenses.

Add some firepower to the offense, and some speed at S.  Elam in year 2, Tre back healthy, and switch to a dime defense to get more speed on 3rd downs (depending what we do with LB position, and would require likely drafting another slot corner).

Does T Johnson move to Safety?  Sure Tackler , hard hitter under the Hyde guidance?  Thoughts

Bills had inside information for they signed a coach who had been with Browns previous year and could see what Poyer was capable of.

Sometimes inside information was wrong as when Bills signed Zay Jones' WR coach from college and he said he was the most prepared for NFL WR he has seen.

Zay has found a home in the NFL and is an important part of the Jags

"Jason La Canfora of the Washington Post writes that Bills S Jordan Poyer is a candidate to be franchise-tagged by the team this offseason. The tag would be $14.46 million and give Buffalo until mid-July to work on an extension for the veteran Poyer, who turns 32 in April."

    Does this make any sense?

Trying to create a market for Po???  Curious as what he will see on the free market.  32 is really peaking for a crackdown extra LB type safety.  I would rather see if we could wing something for this guy who is going into a contract year.  Winfield

Yup...prosecutors only prosecute cases they believe they can prove. Not being able to prove beyond a reasonable doubt someone is guilty of something does not mean they didn't do it...it just means they don't feel they can win that argument in a court of law with a jury.

This is the problem with the thinking of most Americans today.  Our court system is built on the "Presumption of innocence", but the mob justice system in America today is fueled by Social Media with the "presumption of guilt" based on the charge.      Need to fix this...   Guy should not have been penalized simply by a charged offense, especially when we have seen this example of false accusations many times in our society.   Ask yourself, is Michael Irvin guilty?

Indoor clubs are terrible.  Its like you are watching the game from somewhere else (so I have heard).

The sideline clubs are great, although pricey.  You get some heat and a great vantage point.  The indoor areas are nice, especially for breaks for the bathroom and concessions.  One of my favorite things about them is they remain open for quite a bit following the game.  You can sit there, grab a slice of pizza or 2, and watch the 4PM games for awhile until traffic clears.

Compared to Cowboys clubs which are pretty darn nice at a pretty steep price.   Just to compare a upper deck 9th row seat at Jerry world ticket to the Boys cost as much as Section 114 Row 15 for Buf/ Minn this season.   Even on the secondary market buffalo is the cheapest ticket in the league ..   Cleveland maybe next year

    Sideline Clubs and Indoor clubs

Is it worth the money? I haven't bought season tickets in a while (to much going on) but am considering it now that life has slowed down. Getting up there in age though and not a fan of sitting in the elements, so:

Are all the outside  club seats covered and kind of warm?

Are the indoor club seats significantly more expensive then the outdoor ones? Are the indoor ones worth the extra money?

When you click on that map the bills have on their site it just says club seats. It doesn't differentiate between outdoor and indoor.

Tried to buy club seats last season.. was denied because I lived outside of WNY...   If you inquire make sure you use a Local Address..     This is just what my experience was.

Again you have no idea how he is in the locker room and that’s the difference

Chase Daniel played for almost 15 years and has less starts then Josh Johnson!

There are always a few long-term back ups who stick around and don’t play… Especially if you have athletic gifts

HIs athleticism make him a better option than most 3rd string QBs

Chase Daniel was a Mizzou Legend however... Very. good QB but a bit undersized!

Josh overthrows (and under throws) a lot of receivers!  It's a part of who he is. You have to take the good with the bad.

Ironically, despite his huge arm, he tends to under throw really long shots; watch how often a receiver slows allowing the DB to close before the ball gets there.

So both Joe B and Pat do this in the Champ game.   So it's not just Josh..

Diggs has been frustrated as the season came to an end about his lack of involvement in the offense.  Diggs had another monster season and is more than just another WR1, he is a top three WR in the NFL.  Diggs finished 4th in the NFL in receptions, 5th in receiving yards, and tied for 3rd in TDs.  He did that playing only 16 regular season games.

The Bills played 18 games (if you throw out the Damar Hamlin game) in the 2022 season including the playoffs.  That gives us two 9 game halves of the season to compare. I divvied up the stats to see if there was a significant difference in the two halves.  There was definitely a big drop in production over the second half of the season.

    First 9 games;

    Average targets per game;  11

    Average receptions per game;  8

    TDs;  7

    Average yds per game;   109.4

    Last 9 Games;

    Average targets per game: 8.2

    Average receptions per game;  5.2

    TDs;  4

    Average yds per game;  65.8

The question is why did Diggs production drop off? There are a couple of things that were a factor, Josh injured his elbow near the end of the 8th game of the season and that injury seemed to linger well into the second half of the season.  The other issue was a few bad weather games where conditions were not ideal for an efficient passing game.  I'm not sure if Josh's elbow and weather can account for all that drop off though.

    That leaves 5 possibilities for Diggs 2nd half decline;

    1.   Defenses did something different later in the season to slow Diggs

    2.  Dorsey moved away from Diggs-centric offensive game plans

    3.  The O-line play deteriorated and the passing game suffered

    4.  Allen regressed in the second half of the season

    5.  Diggs regressed in the second half of the season

It could be combination of some or all of them, but I think #1 and #5 are the least likely.  Every defense tries to take Diggs out of the game and I think Diggs was still getting open late in the year.  Even when Diggs is "covered" he still seems to catch the ball.

This is something that Dorsey is going to have to figure out this off season.  We have a tight cap now and the answer on offense is probably not going to be adding more weapons for Josh, but rather getting more out of the weapons we already have.

My thought is as Diggs kept complaining and as Josh/s INTs increased.. it appeared that Josh would stay locked on Diggs a tad longer than what he should in the past 4 weeks. He was hesitant to pull the trigger, rightfully so.   He didn't scan his other receivers quick enough and thus would miss his dump offs on the back side

This is ironic, considering the crap that was dumped on Sullivan. Long term, no less.

He says something really stupid, and gets fired. I get it.

At the end of the day, you can't have it both ways, folks..

Overthrown Ball to Diggs, Under Thrown ball to Davis, Drop by Davis, and finally Josh not looking to the flat enough were what doomed the offense in this game.  2 of those 4 things change I think we win.

Third and 4 (see below).  You all remember it.  This play is important for two reasons:

    1.  It shows a complete lack of defensive situational awareness on what can be given up on a play.

    2.  It is the exact same mistake that was made during 13 seconds.  On this play, they are guarding the end zone, but will easily give up the first down.  On 13 seconds, we were guarding the end zone, but willing to give up the two quick plays needed for a field goal.

It is actually worse because this play typified our defensive philosophy for most of the day.  I'm a level headed guy who does not normally call for firings (as if that matters), but this is beyond belief.  There is simply no excuse to give so much space in this situation.  I know I am not an expert.  In my mind, this only makes it worse.  Like probably half of Bills fandom, I was yelling at my screen before the snap.  Shouldn't an expert been able to see what we all saw?

    I can be patient:

Trey - He wasn't what he was last year, but at least I can have hope that he will be back to his old self next year.

Poyer - Not his best game, but he was playing with Hyde, Hamlin, Marlowe, Johnson so I'll cut him some slack that he couldn't be himself.

Dorsey - Not happy with him, but I can at least talk myself into the fact that this was his first year as a coordinator.

But with Frazier I can have absolutely no confidence that he has learned how ridiculously bad this is.  Last year I was hoping that he would be hired away from us.  This year I don't think I have any hope of that.

He's smarter than me, he knows more about defense than I ever will, yada, yada, but you don't have to work for NASA to realize that spacecraft need to be air tight.

    Third and Four (800 x 543).jpg

Have you ever played in wet snow like above?  I understand he was more concerned with moving backwards than forwards...  You play press or in front of the first down you need to turn and catch up on any deeper routes and will give up a TD.   No easy answers with the conditions.. If we could have pressured Burrow like Cincy pressured Josh.. then this would not be a concern.. Our receivers were open just like Cincy's .. Josh didn't have time to get it to them..
