There used to be this place in Pittsboro, NC called Snappy’s or Troll’s. He had the best wings I’ve ever eaten - outside of the motherland. Then this guy Snappy got a sweet job offer down in Texas and had to close shop. However, he’s definitely going to get things going again before football season down in a town called Friendswood. Ask Gisele about Snappy….Gisele knows all about Snappy’s special sauce.

This place was awesome!  Used to drink and eat there several times a week.  Hope the new owners keep the same menu.

  2. This is the way I see it.  When Edmunds isn't in the game, is he missed?  Seems like our D played just as well, or better, without him.  If we're planning on letting him walk after this year, we might as well try and get a pick for him now.  Not sure any team really wants him or his salary this year but it's worth a shot if we can get a 4th rounder or better.  Deepest apologies if some of you don't agree with anything I've said.

I wonder if losing the NFL Ticket will be a death blow to DirecTV, or will they still be a viable option to cable and FIOS?  Until just now when I googled them, I wasn't even aware that Dish was still around.  I am surprised the two satellite companies never merged.

I'm betting it will be the end of their satellite dishes.  The whole thing will probably move to the app.

I admire the optimism but back in October it looked like the Bills would have the division clinched by Thanksgiving. The fact that we are in this position is not good.

I still don’t think the Patriots are the best team in the AFC, but it’s gonna take a small miracle to overtake them in the division. The best we can hope for is just making the playoffs at this point.

Also, five years ago I think we’d all love to be in this position fighting for a playoff spot but after last season I think we all expected to be a contender for the top seed.

The Patriots aren't the best team but they are the best coached team.

  5. If we had Andy Reid as our OC and Daboll was KC's head coach, our players would look like KC's players and their players would be underused like ours.  The NFL is full of talent, size and speed (not the drug).   Really good coaches, coaches that know how to get the most out of that talent, size and speed (not the drug), are hard to come by.

I say make him an offer and if he holds out for more $ you let him walk.  I'm fine with him coming back, but he certainly should NOT be paid like an elite LB.

There are only 53 spots on the team.  If he's signed that means one less football player on the team.  Just get rid of him and get someone that can play football.

  7. Owners are making more money now than ever before because of the gambling partnerships.  Heck, a good portion of the pregame shows is dedicated to gambling.  Even though they'd prefer to win, they won't rock the boat if it means they'll be making less money.  They are all billionaires first, fans second (maybe not Jerry).  Other owners are partners in their business and they are all on the same page.

  8. No game is a gimme.  We lost to the Jaguars.  I don't think any of our opponents see the game against us as a guaranteed loss.  We've slipped up too many times this year to think we're an elite team just going through some struggles.  We're a struggling team that has an occasional flash but let's not fool ourselves.  We're an average team with an awesome quarterback.

  9. I'm not reading the entire thread so I apologize if this has been said.  Edmunds sure as hell didn't take away any routes over the middle.  All it takes is the QB to glance one direction and Edmunds is running that way.  Happened all game and happens every week.  The running play in the first quarter where he practically ran past the runner to engage the blocker should have gotten him benched. Any linebacker on the team is better than that (except him, of course).  It's a shame because he'll probably end up being a decent outside linebacker for his next team but our staff insists on putting the square peg in the round hole.

Tremaine is an athlete that isn't a good linebacker.

Maybe he would perform better in a different defense. Square peg/round hole?

that was weird....both went with the square peg thing at the same time

Ball spots were off all night in favor of the Bucs. Lots of other little things.

But the refs were not why the Bills lost. The Bills playing like crap for more than a half is why they lost.

It was fun to watch them come back, at least. Allen is a warrior.

We noticed the weird ball spotting early in the game.  What the hell was up with that?  Don't think it mattered except for the 4th down THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MEASURED but they kept giving them an extra yard on spots.

Dabs may be struggling, but Diggs has absolutely blown the last 2 games.  Last week the ball hits him on the arm, in the end zone, don’t give me an excuse, the ball was literally perfect, this week, down the seem he doesn’t know where the ball is again as it drops in his pocket, then the fade, then having no clue the ball was coming again to screw our chances in OT.  He’s either quit again or has something really really wrong with him.  Right now he doesn’t belong in the field and the ball should be going to Davis.

Him quitting on the route earlier in the game (I believe it was down the seam in the 3rd quarter) when he was held in inexcusable for a guy with his talent.  Hope for the penalty but keep playing.  Don't start screaming for the flag when the ball is still catchable.

He's been around for nearly 4 seasons as well.  I can't think of many great LBs who didn't figure it out until their second contract.  MLBs especially need to have great instincts.  The idea of developing instincts is a a bit paradoxical.

And he certainly may "figure it out" later in his football life.  Unfortunately for us, we needed it to be figured out by now.

Well, the article begins with a paragraph extolling his virtues as a pass blocking great, utilizing their All-22 criteria. A good pass blocking Center is certainly a Must for a Daboll/Allen offense.

In short, I don’t think our next Center is currently on the team.

Still it's so odd that so many of our linemen are regressing.  Something is (or isn't) going on with coaching.
