  1. And what could you say, really, when you had just lied and got caught?

Him being on a show or not is a lie?? I said it was a mistake for another show and didn't find it that big a deal. It isn't like I broke some amazing news and was wrong. Dwelling on nothing makes you less than that, stop being a odd stalker.

  2. Skooby, as a friend to a friend, it would have been good for you to post this after your mistake on the other post. You were active on several other posts at the time but simply refused to address the issue after others called you out for your error.

The error wasn't the thing...but not being accountable for the error after being asked for an explanation damaged your standing here.

It's not a big issue for me but I wanted to spell it out for you.

I was busy and thought of that thread as as good as closed, I didn't recheck it until the shouting was over. I also don't need to hop into's the lions den, being a Christian and all.

Honeymoon under way for Owens, Bills

By Dan Wetzel, Yahoo! Sports 2 hours, 22 minutes ago

    Yahoo! Sports

PITTSFORD, N.Y. – Jeff Garcia(notes) went to three Pro Bowls from 2000-02 with San Francisco, then was on five different teams in five seasons.

Photo Owens did a little of everything in camp on Saturday.

    (David Duprey/Getty)

Donovan McNabb(notes) threw 31 touchdowns and was in a Super Bowl after the 2004 season. By 2007 he was dealing with rumors Philadelphia would trade him. Tony Romo(notes) became a crossover superstar and a two-time Pro Bowler in Dallas. He now opens the season with questions about whether he’s indeed an elite quarterback.

Terrell Owens(notes) always leaves a mess; the exit is ugly, contentious and controversial. Entire franchises breathe easier when the enigma departs. He’s known as a quarterback killer, but in fairness, not until he’s first a quarterback maker.

  4. uh, red, believe what you will. if a link is what you want fine. however, because i had a full plate, i didn't have the time to search for a link in order to back up the post. that said, i knew what i wrote, had it from the player's agent, whom i quoted in my story, and that the story would move shortly.

since i'm a member of this board, and enjoy being so, i thought i'd provide as much of a heads up as i could without spilling the beans of my story before it made it to the wire. i hoped that someone in the meantime could find my story on DiGiorgio and post a link. that happened, thanks to Beerball.

now, if you don't want me to provide heads-up to pending news, i'll gladly not post. but you seem to be in the utter minority of one, so i'll continue trying to keep this board as informed as i can.

if i'm wrong, i'll own up to it. and i think i'd also have bigger concerns if i'm wrong, as i'd have to answer to my bosses as well. so believe what you will. but if you want official, you might be a little late.

take the Shawn Nelson signing for example. The Buffalo News and AP had that nearly 18 hours before the Bills confirmed it. ...

as for being defensive, i don't think i was in my reply to yours. you simply didn't understand what the word "move" meant, and tried to make some weak joke about it by referencing bowels. ... i tried to set you straight and you accuse me of being defensive. :wallbash:

and good job Skoob (providing credit where credit is due).

    jw

Thank you and Good job to you as well.

  5. Then why are you still here???

Seriously, have you been paying any attention to anything Dean has said?? Skooby got caught lying red-handed in another thread.

Common sense would then lead someone to have to question anything Skooby posts from that point forward.

Skooby then came here, posted that a player was WAIVED, and failed (yet again) to provide a link.

How is this so hard to follow???

It doesn't matter if Skooby is right this time, not telling the truth previously would lead SOME people to not quite trust what you say going forward, especially without a link or proof.

Skooby can post whatever he wants, free world, blah blah blah, but some here reserve the right to question these posts because of his past posts. That's really hard to get?? Seriously??

Dude, I made a mistake on whether or not he was on a program or not, I was told he skipped that one. It was a mistake, not a lie. Get a clue and realize that a lie is something you go out of your way to cover, I post real straight-forward here.

  6. Dean will you shut up already? You act like your the authority around here. Everytime someone doesn't like you calling them an idiot, a liar, or just basically not agreeing with you, you start on your little rant. Just shut up. You actually do post some really smart things on this site, but you also are a condescending punk.

I am surprised you haven't been banned for the WTF abbreviation. I get sick of your language. If you want respect, give it.

    +1.

  7. nope.

    gossip is for ladies.

Dude, I was called a liar for posting up facts on a DiGi thread. Guilty until proven innocent doesn't work on the Internet and I realize that but there is lines you just don't need to cross.

Benefit of the doubt needs to be given from now on, none of this badgering is necessary.

  8. Are the voices in your head "sources"?

The point you are avoiding is, you post things you hear as if they are facts, and you give no background about the source (high quality source, read it on another board, etc).

Sometimes a link is not possible, is that OK? If they show up in links after I posted them does that make them less factual or mean that the folks that lit up the mob torches jumped the gun?

You're lighting of all the torches is an embarassment, just say oops Skooby called it early and rules my world / mind. Then I call it even.

  9. For what, being a parasite on SKOOBY's arss that lives off of every post SKOOBY makes just so he can throw insults. :wallbash:

I heard that he was waived, I posted it first on here and that can be verified. If I started a new thread on it, I get cremated by all the haters, so I post it on the DiGi thread and still get grief.

You haters need to realize that I hear stuff from different sources and when I do you hear about it. If you can't handle hearing about it early, avoid my posts. I will only put up what I hear, what I believe to be factual.

  10. Why must you continue to post lies? WTF is wrong with you?

I read it elsewhere but common sense would force you to ask the basic question of why would we pay a borderline back-up a salary before he even gets to camp?? If he got hurt in camp and was under contract, he gets paid.

What happens if he makes the IR or PUP ?? Does he get paid ??

Think about it and let me know if you know the rules / how it works, until then your post is worthless (as well as you).

  11. ok, from Forbes.com:

"Bills LB DiGiorgio to miss season with knee injury

By JOHN WAWROW , 07.25.09, 11:44 AM EDT

PITTSFORD, N.Y. -- Buffalo Bills linebacker John DiGiorgio will miss the season after having surgery to repair bone damage in his right knee.

His agent, Chris Murray, told The Associated Press on Saturday that DiGiorgio had surgery two weeks ago in Vail, Colo. Murray said the surgery went well, but that DiGiorgio isn't expected to be fully healthy until January.

Coach Dick Jauron declined to comment on DiGiorgio and said the team will make an announcement later.

Signed by Buffalo in 2006 as an undrafted free agent out of Saginaw Valley State, DiGiorgio appeared in six games before tearing a ligament in his right knee last season. His best year came in 2007, when he started 14 games."

I don't read where he was waived.

Pretty tough to pass a physical and get paid if you cannot play before camp.
